I have absolutely no right making this and no clue what I'm talking about
1. Blaze (2/1) - most recent SB champ and also undefeated.
2. SF (3/1) - also undefeated
3. Darce (5/1) - he always good idk
4. Texans (6/1) - I still don't know who this is
5. Whodat (8/1) - Whodat is probably still really good
6. Mike (8/1) - probably deserves to be ahead of whodat but I'm too lazy
7. Taiils (10/1) - made the SB last year and whooped me so this is my official pick to win it all
8. Cardinals (15/1) - I also don't know who this guy is
9. Bwn/caped (20/1) - idk fuck it they're both good who knows
10. Pure (25/1) - I like pure
11. Chris (30/1) - this rank is cuz he'd have to go through Blaze, Whodat, Mike, and Texans. GL man but rip to you
12. Joker (30/1) - I just didn't want to put chris last. same thing tho, AFC stacked
ok I need to start studying I have 3 exams this week
Regular Season Power Rankings
Oakland Raiders (Darce): I’m sure this will be a controversial one but I don’t care. Coming into this season Darces Raiders have; The number 1 ranked defense, The highest overall rated team, Back to back conference championship appearances, the tied best record over the first 2 seasons (27-5-0), the best run game, has yet to lose back to back games, and leads the league in picks. Darce has been an unstoppable force the last 2 seasons but has come up just short losing in the afc championship game both seasons now. This year Darce is looking to end the losing streak and is the heavy favourite to win the superbowl this year.
Chicago Bears (Luda): Not putting luda at number 1 is pretty hard considering he's won 4 of the last 6 superbowls including the first one of madden 17. As we all know he likes to take it easy in the regular season then turns it on for the playoffs (he pays his friends to play for him), but after losing to dylan in the wildcard game and a 12-4-0 season he has dropped to the number 2 spot of our rankings. Luda is still a team to be feared this year but with aging players and jay cutler at starting qb maybe we have 1 more year of a non luda superbowl champion.
Dallas Cowboys (Jeep): Jeep was the for sure number 1 team in our power rankings after having back to back seasons with the best record in football and the current defending superbowl champion, but this offseason he has decided to move from the Cincinnati Bengals to the Dallas Cowboys. Although the cowboys have a great team especially on offense, it’s not always easy having a new change of scenery. Although Jeep is number 3 in our power rankings he is still a huge threat to win it all and is looking to get the Cowboys back to there early 90s form.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Tyler): After a very unfortunate drop to end tyler’s season in the NFC Championship game he is looking for some revenge this season. Tyler had the best record in the nfl at 14-2-0, he had multiple players in the probowl, Kwon Alexander led the league in picks (he lost 5 int’s due to a disconnect), and his playoff loss came with back to back drops in OT to lose the game. Tyler was on fire last year and is hoping to come into this season with the same fire, he had no picks for the recent draft but has a fairly young team that is coming into the season even better than they were last year.
Philadelphia Eagles (Nerd): After a 13-3-0 season, A Super Bowl appearance, and Carson Wentz in full stride, the Eagles are looking at this upcoming season with high expectations. Nerd may not be as involved with madden this year, but he’s better than ever. Most would say Nerds Super Bowl loss came to his oline giving up 7 sacks, but they are looking much better this year having a full 80+ overall oline and with almost the exact same roster as last year this team could do some damage. Nerd will be an underdog this year having Luda, Jeep, Tyler, and chic all in the same conference, but he was also the underdog last season in which he came 6 points from a superbowl and is looking to shut up the haters with this upcoming season.
Minnesota Vikings (Chic): This may seem crazy putting an 8-8 team as the number 6 ranked team in the league, but it comes with reason. First off chic is the only one who managed to win a superbowl during luda’s dominance and that can’t be forgotten. Chic had a unfortunate first season losing all his sim games to miss playoffs by 1 win. Then last season he had the division in a landslide at 7-3-0 with his only losses being sims, but decided to take over the vikings after an opening. Chic won every game except 1 when he took over the vikings in week 11 and is coming into this season looking for revenge. He won’t have to deal with his sim loss curse now that he has a much better Vikings squad and much more free time. Chic does not have an easy road ahead of him though as he has Luda, Tyler, Nerd, Jeep, and Stinger all in his conference. His path to the superbowl is going to be a very hard one but he is more than capable to do so.
Arizona Cardinals (Stinger): The Arizona Cardinals are coming off of a very disappointing end to the season as there was an unfortunate mistake in where he received a loss instead of a win in which caused him to miss playoffs. Although last season was not too great for the Cardinals, the first season they went 14-2 which shows how capable they are of being dominate. Last season was not a complete failure for stingerr though as his quarterback Cam Newton won the league MVP and is looking to do the same thing again this year. Stinger also got a shiny new running back in Thomas Rawls which should help out his run game a lot. Stinger is in the Conference of death this season which will not help his super bowl chances, but after his 14-2 first season he definitely has what it takes to win it all.
Kansas City Chiefs (Declan): After a down season and a tough loss to the Bengals in the divisional round KC is looking to bounce back this season. Declan finally has a quarterback this season in Big Ben and had made some scary improvements and has acquired some serious talents. Although they have lost stud free safety Eric Berry, everything else has been on the up and up. First off they have a new Superstar free safety they got in the the recent draft which should be a nice replacement for eric berry, but they also got MLB Patrick Singletary who was at the top of almost every scouting board. They also got Michael Bennett to help bolster that already impressive defense and their star corner Marcus Peters is in the prime of his career. Their star receiver Eric Eubanks was showered in awards this past offseason and is looking to be even better this year. Declans pass game is elite and now his defense has gotten a big boost, they are also in the AFC which will definitely help come playoff time especially since Jeep has left for the NFC this could be Declan's season.
Indianapolis Colts (Sam): You might be thinking “why the fuck is he this high”, and if you’re in lads then you’re definitely thinking that (13 picks in 4 games lul). But I don’t care I believe in Sam. Sam may of had a pretty crappy season last year, but let's not forget he made it to the superbowl in the first year and was in the game the whole time until a late fumble spoiled his dreams. Last year Sam was without Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton which are both huge factors to Sams down season last year and he’s looking to get back to winning football with the upcoming season. Sams path to the superbowl got a lot easier with the departure of Jeep which is why he’s sitting at number 9 in the power rankings.
Jacksonville Jaguars (Awalker): Rounding out our top 10 is Awalkers Jaguars. Awalkers qb Blake Bortles was highly considered to be the MVP last year and is looking to win it this year. Bortles lead the league in passing and lead his team to the top spot in his division. Unfortunately their defense is not on the same page as they weren’t even in the top 10 last year for defense. Awalker had an unfortunate loss in the wildcard game vs Declan and is hoping that this year his new and improved defense should help get him Jacksonville's first ever superbowl. Awalker got a new LOLB this draft who looks very promising and he also got a new Superstar corner to join the leagues #1 rated CB Jalen Ramsey. His new corner Andrew Hamilton is already an solid corner and will only get better as the season moves along. The AFC is pretty weak this year so Awalker has a great chance to win it all.
Tennessee Titans (Anchorman): Ranking anchorman was pretty tough this year as he missed over half the season last year. His record was 12-4-0 but a lot of those were sim wins so it was hard to tell how he really was. Anchorman managed to win his wildcard game and then barely lost to Darce in the divisional game showing that he is very capable of playing well. With Marigoata at the highest point of his career coming into this season Anchorman is looking to do just as well as last season, but do even better in the playoffs. I’ve been saying it a lot this power rankings, but with one of the AFC’s best players leaving for the NFC the AFC is wide open for the taking and anchorman is looking to show the only fluke last year was his loss to Darce.
Seattle Seahawks (DJD): The Seahawks had a very unfortunate end to their season last year. They we’re ahead against the packers with the ball and 4 minutes left in the game. After a disconnect they recreated the game and his team did not play the same. He ended up losing the game by 2 points but many believe that if the game had not of disconnected he would of won. This year is gonna be a lot harder for DJD as the NFC looks scarier than ever. The NFC has 6 of the top 7 teams in the power rankings and getting into playoffs will be harder than ever, then the playoffs themselves will be even harder for the Seahawks. DJD probably deserves to be higher than this but with a super tough division and an even harder conference he comes in at #12.
New York Jets (Midget): I tried to be as even as possible with this one but I can’t wait for all of you to yell at me. The Jets were a force in the first season finishing their season with an 11 game win streak only to lose to Darce in the divisional round by a td. Last year was a pretty disappointing year for the jets going 9-7-0 and losing in the wild card game, the biggest problem with the jets last season was their offense. The jets had the number 4 ranked defense but the number 30th ranked offense. The Jets front office went all out this year signing 90 overall Tamba Hali to make the best dline in the league by miles. With 2 90 overall players and the other 2 being 97 overall you will not be able to run against this team. Their offense also got Jared Goff, Doug Martin, and DeMar McAllster which should definitely help last season's very poor offense. Their oline is also full 80+ and is looking to dominate the line of scrimmage. The Jets have had by far the best offseason and are looking scary. They also will now have a much easier division with their biggest rival Chic moving onto Minnesota. The Jets are definitely looking to make a big playoff run this year and now have 2 years of experience under their belt.
Atlanta Falcons (Dylan): Dylan was off to a great start last year, but went missing for the last 7 weeks of the season ending out 9-7-0 and squeaking into the playoffs. Although his regular season record wasn’t the greatest his playoffs we’re. Dylan knocked out Luda this playoffs which shows he is pretty good at madden. Luda had only lost 1 playoff game in the past 5 seasons leading up to this one. Even with Luda being the clear favourite to win and with home field advantage, Dylan still managed to pull off the upset. Unfortunately his performance versus Tyler was not as good and he was knocked out in the divisional round. Beating Luda alone should put you in the top 10, but with his shaky game against tyler and how strong the NFC is, Dylan comes in at number 14.
New Orleans Saints (Vegas): The Saints we’re off to an ok start, but then caught fire mid season winning 5 games in a row and against some pretty good oppenents too. Unfortunatly his season fell short as his xbox broke causing his team to get losses the rest of the year to barely miss playoffs. This year he’s looking to continue where he left off and get some revenge for last season. The NFC is strong as hell this season and with his very strong division, it’s going to be tough for the Saints, but not impossible.
Green Bay Packers (Alqcoholic): Green Bay had a pretty good season this year making the playoffs, and winning a playoff game against Seattle, even putting up a good fight against the Eagles. Unfortunately with Chic and Luda in his division this season is not looking too good for the cheeseheads but nothing's impossible with how they performed last season.
Los Angeles Rams (Swan): Swan comes into this season coming off a very disappointing 7-9-0 season in which he missed the playoffs. Swan is going into this season with 3 new big faces. First off he drafted his new starting QB Kurtis Warner, then took a big young target in the form of tight end Mason Kelley, and with his third pick he took young speedy MLB Shaman Blackburn who already looks to become a great Linebacker. Swan looks at the upcoming season with great potential and even tho he is in a hard division, with his young squad they seem keen to make some noise this season.
Washington Redskins (Kanien): Kanien is coming off of a solid 8-8 season only missing the playoffs by a couple of games. The Redskins didn’t shake things up too much with this offseason, their only new face is Probowler free saftey Eric Berry. The Redskins are one of the most allrounded teams in the league, they’re solid all around with no big hole’s, plus with their new FS they are looking to try and get into playoffs this year. Their playoff chances aren’t looking to good as they have the 2 superbowl teams in their division in Nerd, and Jeep. The redskins chances may not look great, or even good, but with a great well rounded roster and an 8-8 season this team is not to be slept on.
Cincinnati Bengals (Melo): Melo is coming off of an 8-8-0 season, but has moved from the Cowboys to the Bengals. Melo has moved to a much easier division but also has a new team which could be hard to get the hang of. He also has some up and coming teams in his division which could make this season a lot harder for him. Melo is still the favourite to come out of his division, but is still a underdog for the playoffs.
Carolina Panthers (Lordsaladz): Carolina finished with a 7-9-0 record last season, but they seem to be in a rebuild phase as they traded for mostly picks this offseason. With that said, sometimes with rookies you never know. He has shown he knows how to win games and although in the harder conference, Carolina still has a very talented team and is not to be counted out.
New England Patriots (Rohr): Rohr has been on the up ever since the beginning of M17. His first season didn’t go so well, but at 7-9-0 this season was a lot better for him. They are also out of the Tom Brady era and in with the Zachery Andrew era. Although a very promising QB, this will be his first season and will likely be a little shaky. The pats may not be super bowl contenders right now, but with their rookie running back having a great first year, and a new young QB, this teams future is looking good.
Baltimore Ravens (Kilo/Rapid): The Ravens have been pretty crappy for there first 2 seasons in hub, but with Kilo taking over they’re already headed in the right direction. Kilo was the old Lions owner in season 1 and was doing very well until he decided to tank and rebuild. Now that he is on a even better team in the weakest division in the nfl, Kilo is a serious threat to come out of the AFC North.
Buffalo Bills (Godfather Man): The Bills are ranked pretty low for a team with a 9-7-0 record last season, but he is a new member to the league and we don’t have much to go off of besides his 2-4 record since joining the league. Although he did not do too well, he did face some pretty tough opponents and now that he has made the bills his team he should come into this season with lots of potential. He’s not in the hardest division ever, but it’s no cakewalk.
Pittsburgh Steelers (Stig3r): The Steelers come into the season looking pretty weak as they have missed playoffs both years and finished with a 6-9-1 record. The only upside going into this season is that the division is wide open with the departure of Jeep. Steelers come in as 3 ranked amongst their division, but with multiple new rookies these team could easily end up on top of a division with no standout team as of now. Pittsburgh is also in the easier conference which should surely help his chances at doing well.
Miami Dolphins (Pure): Miami had a downright aweful season last year and their team is amongst the worst in the league. The only positive going into this season is new owner Pure. Pure went winless last season but was tanking the whole time and has shown in other leagues he is quite the player. Pure should be higher on the list, but with no real results to go off of and the crappy team that he was dealt, this season may be another rebuilding season for the Dolphins. With all that being said, Pure is in one of the easier divisions and has a good chance to come out on top this year.
Houston Texans (Drewbart): The Texans are looking like they are going to have a very hard time doing well this season as they finished last in their division last year and don’t seem to have much to show for it. They have an amazing receiving core, but with Carson Palmer throwing the ball its hard to see the Texans doing any damage. The Texans seem to be headed into another disappointing season, but could easily upset everyone with the roster they have. Either way the Texans have a bright future and won’t be ranked this low for long.
Cleveland Browns (Frank): The Browns started off with by far the worst team in the league, although they are on the rise finishing 6-10-0 last season, they still don’t seem to have what it takes to be a real contender. The Browns only have 1 90+ rated player heading into this season and overall their team is still pretty weak and lacks identity. Frank has done quite the job rebuilding this team, but is still a couple season away from being a real playoff threat. Although with that said the browns are in an easy division and might be able to pull off an underdog story to take the division.
Detroit Lions (Hog): Hog is still one of our newer members to the league which makes it hard to rank him. The lions are the only team in the league without a 90+ player, but they are still very talented and have such a young squad. They also have a new QB in town who is spoiled with receivers. Even with the very low rated team last year the lions still pulled off 5 wins and are looking to improve on that even more this season. Also they have made lots of transactions this offseason to help suit the new owners play style. The lions look to be promising, but are probably still a few seasons away from being a contender.
San Francisco 49ers (Tinkle): The 49ers come into this season coming off of an 0-16-0 record. They most likely should of been the lowest ranked team, but with new owner Tinklenut, this team should definitely be a lot better. They have lots of new young faces, but they are in a very good division which mean this is probably another rebuilding year for the 49ers. Although this year may not look to good for the red and gold, under new ownership and some nice young faces they are on the rise.
New York Giants (Dbroms): It was very hard to put the Giants this low as I know they are going to do much better this season after tanking most of last season, But with the 3rd worst record in all of football last season it’s only fair that they come in at number 30. The giants offense should be much better this season under their new QB Khris Bias and newly acquired RB Lesean McCoy. The new young QB is in heavin knowing that he is going to be throwing to the megastar OBJ. Although this team has a ton of potential, and some nice new young players, they are in the hardest division in the NFL and still have a lot to work on. The Giants have a bright future, but this year looks to be another losing season.
San Diego Chargers (Reign): The Chargers only had the 5th worst record in the NFL last season, but they also had the worst record the season before that, their team has a lot of work to do, and they have superbowl favourite’s Oakland Raiders in their division. Although the Chargers are on the come up, this season looks to be another disapoint in sunny San Diego. With all that being said, they have a nice young QB, a lot of young studs, an improving record and seem to really be starting to flow under Reigns management. Although not today, the Chargers will “Reign” surpreme one day.
Denver Broncos (Duff): It was really hard for me to put someone as nice as Duff last in the power rankings, but with one of the worst records for the second year in a row and a very old Broncos roster, this year should be a for sure rebuild. Duff has shown lots of potential and is no joke, but with this team and the screwed up cap, there isn’t much he can do about his situation. On the plus side
