Stubblefield 2 ints Defensively jets had 11 ints FS. K. McCrary out 9 weeks PCL tear Time to get the season started for a playoff run

Effective immediately, the jets name Bill Polian general manager. Polians #1 priority is to effectively have a successful draft

7-FORTY-7 the NETWORK is reporting the Jets are considering hiring former GM Bill Polian to assist in this years upcoming draft.

Jets off season needs

Jets will be overhauling the entire offensive line. The secondary needs a major upgrade . Once the pieces are in place to protect the quarter back, this team can move forward. The wideouts are below average ,but with the right nucleous by the coaching staff the jets can have two 1,000 yard receivers. Molden & Funchess both had 900+ yards RECEIVING. Defensively this team was dead last in sacks. Putting pressure on the quaterback must be improved next season

Once again it's time for the Jets to step up and play spoiler. Week 12 versus the Steelers the Jets must come down and put the hammer down on the Steel Curtain. The Jets offense will put up astonishing numbers to stop the Steelers in their quest for the playoffs. The Jets defense must create turnovers to put the team in position to win the game.

New Focus

The Jets have been a team of UPS & DOWNS. Whatever has gone wrong has. Injuries at the start of the first preseason game sidelined QB prospect C.J. Seward. N. Skelton was on the hotseat for a demotion ,but his quality play has him firm command of the starting job. The wide receiving corp has been hit hard by injury as well. (WR'S) L. Cornelious (6 weeks), M. Scroggins (4 weeks) & K. Boswell (5 Weeks) all have missed significant time. (WR) B. Hull has been BENCHED because of poor play. Too many dropped passes, especially on 3rd down has cost him a starting job. Rookie (WR) T. Myers has benefitted with superb play. (TE) T. Copeland (Oft injured) has been a disappointment. On the defensive side of the ball, this unit can not get off the field on 3rd down, including a league low 4 sacks by the entire starting unit. Turnovers is the biggest problem. 3 game winning drives have been halted by 3 fumbles (2 in the redzone that has every Jet fan wondering what IF!!!!!!!!!!!
