1. In the PEL (Primetime Elite League) there is a main rule of respect. That rule of respect was violated, and we had to remove someone from the league. We don't chase records, breakouts, etc... and disrespect our opponents. Ever.
2. Disrespecting people in the main chats should not happen. If you have an issue with someone, send them a DM and talk to them man to man about it.
3. Trades should be fair and not terribly imbalanced, especially since we don't have trade rules in here. We will step in on rare occassions and deem a trade to be unfair. If that happens, you are expected to comply with the decision. If not, then the league will step in and handle the situation.
4. We offer incentives for league activity. For now, that has included writing articles, which helps the league be recognized on Daddy Leagues and be acclaimed as a Daddy Leagues Elite League for the last 2 years, and I expect this will be the 3rd year we receive that designation. By far, that is the only acclaim I have ever cared about - any other measurement of fame is based on others opinions and social media which is based more on favortism than hardcore activity.
5. Activity in the league starting next season will be measured by your activity in the chat as well. As you reach certain levels of activity in the Discord chat, you will be rewarded with different incentives as a thanks for keeping the league active. Those incentives will be released once the next season starts (after the draft).
6. Referrals are still welcome to the league, and if they stay for an entire season, you will be awarded with a free development upgrade on the player of your choice.
Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks for being a part of the PEL!

With the Panthers going through some growing pains of a rookie QB, the offense held a team meeting and GM Al Bundy advised them their Offensive Coordinator had been fired, and stated that they would be next if they don't get their collective shit together in a hurry.
The Panthers then went to work on installing a new offense, and Head Coach Ron Rivera stated that there would not be a new OC named, and that they are giving their young QB Tua Tagolivoa the freedom to audible from playcalls that he sends it from the sidelines.
The Panthers defense overall has played well, but they have been put in holes constantly from the offense's fumbles or interceptions. Offensive Captain Christian McCaffery addressed the team and apologized, stating that the buck starts with him playing better, and promised going forward the offense would start doing their part and playing complimentary football.
With a tough schedule continuing this season, we will see if they can get their head out of their ass or heads will roll apparently according to Al Bundy.
Washington is the best team west of the Mississippi River this season, and he draws some comparisons to former NFL hard hitter Chuck Cecil in his game, however some people think that Smith is a standout due to being around an all-time great Huskies defense and once he gets on his own in the NFL, he will have some flaws in his game that will tend to stick out a bit more. However, a big hitter at the SS position carries some weight, so we'll see how that translates on the next level.
Of Madden's past, a great defensive back named Nataki Lucas once played for the San Diego Chargers and had an all star career, winning 2 Super Bowls. Lucas had a son during those glory days, and that son made the most of his 2 star talent coming out of high school, staying local at San Diego State. Lucas had a growth spurt his sophomore season, and has grown into a legit NFL prospect. While his father was a corner, scouts say that the younger Lucas doesn't have the ball skills his father did, but the NFL awareness and acumen is there, and he could be a steal if someone wants to take a chance on him.
The grandson of the famous singer, Illini LB Phil Collins is more known for the postgame concerts he gives at home games after the Illini win a game. Parents of his teammates pack the stadium to hear songs such as 'Easy Lover', Who Said I Would' and many other songs his grandfather made famous in the 1980s. Outside of that, his game is pretty good on the field too, and scouts like the fact that he's a pretty good player on the field and a marketing sensation off of it - and owners will want to cash on his abilities in both ways!
Due to the United States Immigration Laws, Sanchez was deported at 18 years old as a HS Senior and was rated as a 4 star recruit heading to Norte Dame before having to leave the country. Laws changed 3 years later, and the only offer Sanchez received to play football was at New Mexico University. Sanchez has shown college coaches that not giving him more offers was a mistake as he has had a 17 sack season and displayed some great abilities in both the pass rush and run games. However, with Sanchez being 24, scouts are wondering how big his ceiling his, and how much better can he really get missing 3 years of the game?
Former Penn State Head Coach Joe Paterno, before he died, promised a young 9 year old Lincoln Porter that he would be a Nittany Lion one day and he made sure that it would come true, no matter what. Fast forward 10 years, and the Penn State staff made good on that promise, and Porter has made good on that, dedicating every minute to Penn State football, leading them to a BCS berth in all 4 years of his career. Scouts love his dedication to the game and his natural born leadership, and believe he is a can't miss lynchpin for the next 10 years on the offensive line in the NFL.
Boss Hogg's parent's were huge fans of the late 1970s/early 1980s show "The Dukes of Hazzard" and Boss Hogg was known as the main antagonist of the Duke Boys, the main characters on the show. Growing up as a little kid, Hogg always seemed to have an attitude and get into fights at school. His dad decided to put his anger on the field, and he's been a dominant lineman ever since. In the cornfields of Kansas, Hogg ran the family farm and once benched 3 cows at one time. Needless to say, scouts think Hogg has the right temperment for an OL, but does he have the skills?
Considering the Aggie TE was recruited personally to his school by current Bears RB Tarik Cohen, it's obvious he has some talent in his game. Of course, the big question, like Cohen, is that his smaller school talent translating to the big jump in the NFL. Black is considered the best receiving TE in Black College Football, but where he lines up among his peers is the biggest question in his game. Cohen has vouched for him though, and hopes his Bears will land him in the draft, for what it's worth.
One of the few true stars on the UCLA team this year, Kastle has been known to make dazzling plays over and over again, and gets featured on ESPN since they are based in Los Angeles. Some people think he is a #1 overall type of talent, but some wonder if the hype machine of the media is making him out better than he really is, and other scouts are critical that he can make only the highlight plays, but he cannot seem to execute the basic plays as well.
With his father being a former star fullback/halfback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns, FB Joey Alstott hopes to follow in his father's footsteps as a great fullback at the next level. The biggest question most scouts is - hell, will anyone feature a fullback at the next level? Some coaches may find use for him at Tight End or a Powerback, but Alstott believes that he could be featured like his dad was back in the day. Time will tell, but Joey is a premiere fullback, mainly because there aren't many left anymore!
Rex Griffin started off the season as a Heisman candidate, but due to some drops by his Wide Receivers and pressure from a mediocre offensive line, his numbers ended up not being that great. However scouts believe given proper support in the NFL, he has the arm strength to make all the throws and the ability to be a future star QB in the right system for what he does.
Admist all of the Tua Mania among Carolina Panthers fans, their 2nd round pick wasn't a bad one either - TE Brycen Hopkins out of Purdue, who has looked like a Greg Olsen clone in practice so far.
Hopkins is Star Dev with 86 speed and 87 acceleration. This helped the Panthers be able to run more effective 2 TE sets with Ian Thomas, as well as kept him away from the rival Falcons who the Panthers knew were looking for a TE after trading OJ Howard for draft picks.
Expect Hopkins to be a focus in the Panthers offense this season and he should have a nice long career in Carolina!
The Carolina Panthers didn't come into this draft looking for a QB - they hardly scouted them throughout the process, and that was just out of curiosity. However, as the main Panthers target was taken right before their pick, there sat Tua Tagoliva, the star QB from Alabama who had undeniable talent.
In the last Panthers playoff game, QB Cam Newton fumbled on multiple occassions literally giving the game to the Seahawks. At 33, Cam is still very good, but if the team was going to make a change, this QB was not going to be there again next season.
So the Panthers quickly snagged the talent, and subsequently changed the tone around their franchise. Cam will be gone after this season obviously, released to save 30 million on the cap.
A trade offer of Kyler Murray came from the Cardinals, but he has to be resigned and the Panthers are not interested in paying another QB big money any time soon with Tua in tow.
KEEP POUNDING
