After four weeks of play in the 2017 NFL Season, here are my NFC Power Rankings. For the first eight teams, I have provided a little detail about them. With the last eight, they are just ranked at the bottom. Hope you guys enjoy.
1. Rams
----------- This team just knows how to win. Looking at their stats they don't stand out in the league in any specific categories. Jared Goff has had a decent year so far while safety Lamarcus Joyner leads the league in interceptions.
2. Giants
----------- The Giants are a clear number 2 team in the NFC right now. On both sides of the ball, they are in the top 5 in points per game and points allowed per game. The strong point of their defense is their run stopping defensive tackles as they only allow 68 yards per game on the ground.
3. Buccaneers
----------- The Bucs have put together a good year so far as they are 3-1. The defense right now has been red hot as they only allow 17 points per game which will make it tough for anyone to beat them. If Jameis Winston and the offense can pick up some of the slack watch out for this team.
4. Falcons
------------- Not surprisingly, the Falcons are having another good year. Matt Ryan has thrown for over 1300 yards with Julio and Calvin Ridley combining to catch over half of that. Also, the young standout has put up 4 touchdowns in the first four games of this year. The defense has been in the middle of the pack so far but watch out if the Falcons can get their running game going.
5. Cardinals
------------ Rookie QB Josh Rosen has put together a great year so far with 8 TD passes and only 3 INTS. With both him and leagues leading rusher David Johnson having great years so far this offense is ranked second in the NFL. All I have to say is don't let the defense start figuring it out or this team could come out as a sleeper in the NFC.
6. Vikings
---------- So far this year, this team's defense has been insane. They are first in the league points allowed per game, yards allowed per game, and passing yards allowed per game. If this team can start to consistently produce on offense, they will soar up the power rankings.
7. Seahawks
-------------- Up to now, the Seahawks have had an okay season, but with new coach, Andrew Linhart, I would say watch out NFC as this team could have huge potential under him.
8. 49ers
--------- Right now, the 49ers have played 3 games within their division and they are 1-2. If they can take advantage of their weak schedule ahead, they should be able to bounce back and be in contention in the playoff race.
The Rest of the NFC:
9. Eagles
10. Saints
11. Bears
12. Lions
13. Redskins
14. Panthers
15. Cowboys
16. Packers
