The Disappointing Season

This year for the New England Patriots has been a roller costar ride. The Patriots started out the season 0-3 with some disappointing close games. Then with a mid season switch at quarterback to Jeff Driskel who had won one game for the Patriots had got benched again. Driskel and McWilliams have been fighting for the starter roll since pre season. Neither of them playing consistent football the Patriots may look for another quarterback in the draft or try and get a big name in free agency. The one upside to this New England Patriots team has been there defence. The Patriots have acquired star saftey Leveon Egnew and the secondary has been tremendous. The Patriots are third in there division at 4-4 and with no divisional wins this year the division title may be locked up by the Jets. The only hopes this team has at making the playoffs is winning out this season.

Darveon Dockery

Rookie sensation Dareveon Dockery would come out this year and ball right away. Coming from Northern Iowa and not having much talent at a D2 school he shined throughout his short college career. He showed tremendous speed and vision at the running back position. Even with all of his shown ability, playing division two college ball doesn't normally translate well into the NFL. For that reason he was prejected in the fifth round. The New England Patriots saw differently though and desperately wanted to change up there running style. They picked Dockery in the third round and took a huge chance on the young back. Still not many people thought with such a stacked backfield already, Hills and Thomas, that the young back would even get a carry his first season. But New England surprised everyone and Dockery started the first game of the season and he has led this young revamped team to a 3-1 record and looking to take hold of the division vs the New York Jets. It should be a tall tale game with both teams at 3-1. This team behind Dockery is looking to go all the way.
