The Blaine Gabbert lead 49ers get the win vs the Falcons 28-7 to keep their playoffs hopes alive. Gabbert had a flawless game throwing 0 INTs. They are now 1 game out of the final Wild Card spot with a bye week up ahead hopefully they come out strong week 10 against the strong Seahawks team, and then week 11 against the undefeated Cardinals. The toughest stretch is coming up for the 9ers if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. See you after the bye week!

49ers fought long and hard for this game to come up short. In a game where you have to believe they would have won if they kept their mistakes down they found a new QB. Blaine Gabbert is now the starting QB in San Francisco. Colin Kaepernick threw 4 INTs in a dismal game. Carlos Hyde couldn't get anything going so the 49ers got away from the run game. They are now 4-3 and just outside the playoff race. But they are still in it and that's all that matters.

49ers made too many mistakes against the Giants. Look for them to rebound week 6!

Randall Cobb is now a San Francisco 49er. After sending LOLB Aaron Lynch and a 3rd round draft pick in this seasons draft the 49ers now have two young receivers with high upsides. Cobb is a speedy receiver which will help Kaep lead this fast offense. Look for Cobb to be a big contributor in weeks to come.

Colin Kaepernick is on a roll this season. Looking like a comeback year for the QB who struggled just a year ago. With the help from Carlos Hyde his offense is looking better than it has the past few seasons. This even with no deep threat. Rumors are flying around everywhere that because of the hot start they're willing to pay big for a deep threat. With the first quarter of the season in the books the 49ers are looking good and are in the playoff race. The Cardinals and Seahawks are both undefeated going into their week 4 games, a slip up from either team and the 49ers are right back in the race, not like they're out of it though.
