The Dolphins made one last move to finish out the season. Trading for LB Anthony Barr to sure up the run game and help in the pass defense, either rushing the passer or defending. 

Since the two game he’s been here the team has played with a new swagger and will to win. Giving up only 13 points. And with the short fields have scored 94 points in total over two games. 

We know it’s a small sample size. But it’s a sample we all love to see here in Miami. Barr has 4 Tackles 1 Sack 1 Forced Fumble 2 Ints and 1 TD. 

We’re hoping this is the spark we needed to carry us to the end of this season and beyond.

The Dolphins are at it again. After 3 weeks of play and a 1-3 record. Only averaging 13 points a game. They needed a #1 Wide Out. That’s exactly what they got in WR Julio Jones. Sending Parker and 3rd Round Pick to the Falcons. 

The hope is with a OL trying to find there identity. Julio will be able to get himself open even when he’s not open giving Tua a hot read on the play. 

Especially after last weeks loss against the Bills. The Wide outs struggled to get separation. Even when they had some space there were dropped passes still. A few of those were caught balls. May be a different outcome.

The Miami Dolphins front office strikes again. This time giving young QB Tua a new toy to play with in Ronald Jones III. 

This doesn’t come as a shock to most as they look to rejuvenate this offense and watch the young talent grow. 

Acquiring Jones did come with a price to pay as they shipped of DE Joey Alfieri after just one year of play. New Ownership felt like he just wasn’t the fit they was looking for. Had a Quiet Rookie year 51 Tackles and 6 Sacks much room to improve unfortunately the dolphins aren’t going to wait around and see if he can become a household name in the NFL. 

As for Jones still a raw back. But in the mode the dolphins are looking for. So I hope to see leaps in offensive production this year. Just another piece to the puzzle of success.

The Miami Dolphins have traded away veteran Right Tackle Juwan James to the Green Bay Packers. 

There was rumblings about James being available this offseason. And both teams finally pulled the trigger on the deal. 

With Miami taking several talented offensive linemen this past draft it was time to fill other holes. With that in mind Green Bay sent back Cornerback Kevin King. With secondary being a big weakness of Miami this is one way to fix it. Giving young Star Minkah Fitzpatrick the chance to play full time Free Safety. As King comes in and fills his role. 

Love the aggressive approach Miami is now taking. Great move by both teams. Cheers to a great season. #FinsUp

Dear Miami Dolphins Fans,

It has been named that Ryan Thannehill will finish off the season as QB-1. I know this comes as a shock. Maybe even a disappointment to some, but after the horrendous effort put on by Mike White and David Blough. We as an organization feel you guys deserve better and the least we can do is put a team on the field with a fighting effort.

Moving on to the OL. Josh Sitton will be sliding over to Center. Ja’Wuan James will be sliding to Left Tackle. Pushing Laremy Tunsil into Left Guard. Leaving the right tackle position up for debate. No definitive answer yet on that. 

For our play makers. Kenyan Drake has played his last snaps in Miami. Kalen Ballage and Lj Scott will hold down the fort. Receivers like Danny Amendola and Albert Wilson have also played their last snaps. Parker and Stills are on the hot seat so watch out. 

As for the defense they may as well not even be their. Giving up an abysmal 30 points a game. Nobody’s job is safe. So if your looking for that new contract. It’s best you get your act together and pull through. Or we could be looking at a new defense next season.
