The cardinals started out this season with great hopes. They looked to have one of the best if not the best secondary in the league. On top of this they had an offense with capable players at every skill position. But never underestimate the power of the front lines. With arguably the worst offensive line in the league their QB Derek Carr could barely stand up and may be following in his brothers footsteps of having no protection around him leading to an early end to his career. The constant pressure seemed to get to him throughout the year and even when it wasn’t there he was seeing ghosts and throwing some of the worst passes the nfl has ever seen. On top of that their front 7 was ran over game after game allowing the most rushing yards in the entire league, even at one point allowing Derek Henry to go for 470 yards and 7TDs. Though the team still made the playoffs they were ultimately a train wreck on both sides of the field and an embarrassment to the entire league. Maybe they will go heavy in the draft with defensive front players along with some impactful o line players but when they’re run by a stubborn owner who is too proud to admit his mistakes when it comes to going heavy on the secondary don’t expect them to turn things around anytime soon.

The Colts 2020 season was one disappointment after another. It began with no good player at the QB position, and unwilling to trade Saquon Barkley, they decided to roll with their 2 young QBs hoping one would stand out while the defense and Saquon would be able to do the majority of the work. After losing Saquon for half the year due to injury and depleting their defense with trades the season went from bad to worse. At this point the Colts need to do something to make their squad at least able to compete again otherwise they will remain a bottom dweller for years to come.
