LA Chargers Lose to Colts in Coach Luciani's Debut

Carson, CA - Coach Luciani's first game as head coach of the Chargers was against a very famimiar foe, Coach D_Wayne and his Colts. The Chargers defense played well though three & a half quarters, holding the Colts' powerful offense in check, while the Chargers hung onto a touchdown lead for most of the game. A late fumble on a kickoff return and some late offensive heroics by the Colts dashed all hopes for the Chargers and their new Head Coach to get the win.

LA Chargers Introduce New Head Coach

The Los Angeles Chargers formally introduced Bill Luciani as their coach Tuesday.
 
“I am so proud to be the head coach of the L.A. Chargers,” Luciani said as he opened his remarks at a news conference at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA.
 
Coach Luciani succeeds Coach SmashSmash, after he abruptly resigned to take the Head Coaching potion with his hometown Chicago Bears. Coach Luciani was the Head Coach of the Tennessee Titans for 20 games, before being lured away by the Chargers' Front Office.
