So we're 4-5 up until this point. Which could have very easily been 6-3, if it weren't for two game ending field goals in some closely contested games. Also with a tought schedule ahead in the final 7 games, there doesn't seem to be too much promise for the playoffs this year. The only thing keeping the Jags in the running is the all around poor performance division wide as division leading Titans are only 1 game ahead at 5-4.
So our hopes are up but we'll have to wait and see if Bortles and his Jags are ready to make another playoff run.
After the first two weeks, the Jags are 1-1. The one loss was a great game and lost by merely a field goal. A game that could have easily gone the other way. On a good note Blake Bortles has 4 td's, 2 int's, and an amazing 75% completion rate. Jeremy Hill has had quite a different role as well to start the year with only have 93 rushing yards but yet has 139 receiving yards. So it goes without saying that the Jags offense is right on track with where they want to be going forward. On to the next one!
This years motto..........."Play smarter, not harder!"
Well everybody, this is our first blog for the league now that our commish has got us situated on Daddy Leagues. I'm sure i speak for us all when i say thank you for the well spent money commish and lets keep this league rolling and making it better.
More importantly on the Jaguars front, I am excited for a new season and ready to try getting past the divisional round this year. I see that being possible now that Brady retired. But then again the Texans will be an insane challenge for us in the division. I'm hoping to pick up some LB's to fill out the growing defense. Which hopefully this year can get us about 12-13 wins.
Good luck on the new year everybody!
PS if someone wants to make some trades to help me fill out my MLB and LOLB postions then I'd be happy to talk.
