NEWSLETTER Vol. 2
January 11, 2017
1. Cowboys (10-1)
Coach Boggs has silently jumped out to a quick and fast undefeated start, can he hold this up and make up for his NFC championship loss or will he come up short again.
2. Broncos (9-2)
JD the self proclaimed “killer and best in the league” is off to a blazing fast start thanks to a few sim wins. His first loss was a regular sim to the Cowboys and second by division rival Raiders. So is he really the best??
3. Vikings (9-2)
Mr. MLB himself came out the gates with a whopping 5 ints with Eric Kendricks against the Bengals. Can he make these turnovers turn into something meaningful like a deep postseason run? Only time will tell.
4. Saints (8-3)
Not much is known about this coach but he does have a quality win against last season's NFC Champion Packers. The newcomer is looking to make some noise in the league and has done so thus far.
5. Titans (8-3)
Marcus Marriota and Breshad Perriman have the Titans sitting atop the AFC South. The stout passing game of the Titans has them primed for a top seed in the AFC, barring a late season meltdown the Titans look to if they can hold on to.
6. Bears (8-3)
The Chicago Bears have the league's current rushing leader after 7 weeks in Jeremy Langford. Always quiet and productive coach Blackbomb looks to dethrone the Packers as the NFC North Champions.
7. Raiders (8-3)
One of the biggest mouths of the division and NWL seems to be holding his own in the West. Trading Carr away for a younger QB doesn't look so bad but it is still early.
8. Cardinals (7-4)
Kilo found his way back into New World and has the Cardinals flying high. The benching of Carson Palmer and his slow ass dial up internet will hold onto the NFC West.
9. Chargers (7-4)
The AFC West is tough this season with every team in the division over .500. The west is making a strong statement as the best division in NWL. Who will be the odd man out.
10. Falcons (6-5)
This team was inherited so not much can be said except that the coach is in a win now mode as he has made various roster moves to add to Julio Jones and that explosive offense.
11. Bills (6-5)
The coach of the bills has the team riding high behind a aging Lesean McCoy & healthy Sammy Watkins. He's been a little inactive during the holiday season so let's see if he will pick it up and continue to lead the AFC East.
12. Packers (5-5-1)
Last years NFC champs just doesn't seem to have rebounded from the Super Bowl loss handed out by the Broncos. He is still in the top tier of the NFC but will he be able to stay there with all of the new talent in the NFC.
13. Colts (6-5)
Shows top 5 potential but hasn’t been consistent lately. Solution....... TYIELDON.... get it ?? Colts show they can compete against the best but then play with no passion or fire against opponents they should obliterate. This is a sleeper team to watch in the AFC coming down the stretch.
14. Dolphins (5-6)
Coach James has went defense first with his approach on this dolphins team. He has acquired arguably the best defensive lineman in the game Aaron Donald but had to part ways with young and talent add offensive lineman Laramy Tounsil.
15.Jets (5-6)
This coach came in the league bragging and boasting about how good he was and after every loss he heard about it. He seems to have gotten into the swing of things with his team coming off a 3 game winning streak and getting the team back to .500 he is working to get some respek on his name and his selfie game.
16. Bengals (6-5)
Consistency is the keyword when talking about the Bengals, luckily for the team the whole division struggles with consistency so they always have a playoff shot.
17. Chiefs (6-5)
In a tough AFC West division the Chiefs are battling 2 of the top AFC teams twice a year. The Chiefs will continue to have a tough time to scratch the surface of the playoffs unless he can shock the world and win the division.
18. Seahawks (6-5)
When you finally get a hold of T Mack he is one of the toughest defensive minded coaches but coming off a donut party to the new look colts has the team looking at gaining more offensive pieces to pair with Russell Wilson.
19. Buccaneers (6-5)
Coach Lawless has made several moves as he's always done. It has yet to be seen if these moves will pay off but the future in Tampa Bay looks to be bright as long as Coach Lawless can put as much effort into his game plan as he does trading. The team has gotten younger but at what cost?
20. Steelers (5-6)
Coach GA of the steelers has all the tools on offense & defense he just needs to put it together on a consistent basis. There is no reason why he shouldn't be dominating his division. The steelers roster is miles ahead of his division counterparts but poor defensive play and predictable offense has him fighting for a playoff spot and the division lead.
21. Rams (5-6)
Coach Slinkz has once again revamped the look of his beloved Los Angeles Rams, this time by getting rid of top pick Jared Goff and trading away arguably the best defensive lineman in the league to the Dolphins for a offensive lineman and some picks. Yea we dont get it either but he has the newly relocated team off to a 5-2 start.
22. Giants (5-6)
Rookie RB Marcus Simmons has the Giants off to a fast start and looking primed to battle in the playoffs. To take over the NFC East Eli & Odell will have to bring a lot more firepower and play more consistent.
23. 49ers (5-6)
Stuck with a tough roster to build around and with “The Professor” quickly grabbed a sure fire RB in Latavius Murray to get the struggling offense going. The off-season and draft will be key to build this once strong and fearless team back up to dominance.
24. Jaguars (4-7)
The Jaguars have been having a up and down season after coming in and leading the AFC South. Has Coach Maqmon hit a mid season slump or was his first season a fluke?
25. Browns (3-7-1)
Has pryor and gordon tall receivers that ball and Cody Kessler is playing well. Coach Pioneer just needs to run and balance the offense out and he can sneak in to take the north.
26.Ravens (3-8)
Coach Savage Neo left the league after building a budding superstar in Darren Waller and letting him walk in the offseason to the Colts. He can. E considered as the TE builder, but never seems to truly care about winning. Wonder what type of user he would be if he played a smart game from start to finish instead of chasing stats.
27. Texans (3-8)
After trading for Derek Carr the Texans were hoping that would end their interception woes but that is far from the case as Carr currently leads the NWL in interceptions just as Brock Osweiler did last season. The Texans will have to get a more balanced offense in order to compete in the league rather than just lobbing the ball to Deandre Hopkins or Speedster Will Fuller.
28. Eagles (2-9)
2nd year QB Carson Wentz is struggling this season as he's in the league's top 10 in interceptions thrown. Surprisingly though if the coach can get the season turned around they can battle for a wildcard spot.
29. Panthers (3-8)
The Panthers are struggling this season seeming as if they have never recovered from the loss of Josh Norman to the skins. Hopefully a great draft and offseason can get the Panthers back pounding.
30. Redskins (2-9)
Not much is known about the Coach of the Redskins due to him just now joining the league. We all look forward to seeing how he holds up in the New World.
31. Patriots (1-10)
A tough offseason where Coach Blessed missed the draft and free agent signing it shows. He has struggled and missing key defensive players and offensive linemen. Let's hope all the holes in this team is fixed in the offseason so this team can become respectable again.
32. Lions (1-8)
With a disappointing playoff run that resulted in a blowout loss to the hands of the 49ers the Bucs look to bring the Lombardi trophy to the NFC but more specifically to Tampa Bay. With a quiet but effective offseason that brought in a lot of depth & experience to the team and a stellar draft that resulted in 3 starters the ceiling is getting higher for the Tampa Bay Bucs and only they can stop themselves. A team that is focused on the big prize and war ready be on the lookout for the Bucs not in regular season but in the playoffs to shake things up and shock the world. They have officially been sponsored by none other than TBE (The Best Ever) Floyd "Money" Mayweather. With The Money Team in their corner lets see how far these Bucs can go.
A hard fought season for my team, the additions that we made in the offseason played dividends. We picked up guys that would leave their egos at the door and came to play their role on this team. Doing so we had a great regular season but now the real work begins we earned and took the #1 seed to get this bye and have home field advantage we need 3 wins to complete the journey and it starts with the 49ers. We know they beat us in the regular season due to a few penalties and a walk off TD in OT we will be ready this time around, nothing will stand in the way of our quest of the Lombardi Trophy. As far as winning coach of the year it felt great but still feel we don't get the credit we deserve so we just have to keep punching teams in the mouth until we do.
As the playoffs begin this young Tamba Bay team is focused to silence the naysayers and the doubters. They are still hungry have something to prove and are focused on hoisting the Lombardi trophy. Yes they had a great regular season but nobody wants to be remembered as just having a great regular season we want to bring it all home. 3 wins away from doing so, LETS GO BUCS!!!!
