Sal Kipper here and I'm back with his Season 7 Team Draft Grades. Let's face it this draft was loaded with talent. Twenty-Seven Players came out with an 80 or above overall. Thirteen of those players with a STAR Development Rating. Sixteen of the players rated above 80 are on the Defensive side of the ball.
If you watched my pre-draft special then you will remember the news of my brother Mel working for the Jacksonville Jaguars. As it turns out he was overrulled by a bully of an owner in Taut and the owner would not listen to his draft advance. He has since quit the Jags and looking for work. Granted he did make the Jamarcus Russell pick several years ago, but come on Taut....
Here are my draft grades:
A+ Rating:
Sony Weaver and his Cincinnati Bengals: Very Very Impressive Draft! He picked up three players of 80 overall or more. LT Craig Fulton is a beast with a 88 Overall and a Fast Development!
New St Louis Rams Owner Alex Vajgrt is proven he should not be underestimated. This team already had talent and he added the best DT in the Rookie Class in the 2nd Round. 88 overall Horace Sturdivant and he has a Fast Development Rating.
A Rating:
Washington Redskins "Hypknotize" had a very fine draft in my opinion. He got an 85 DT in LaMont Hogan in the 2nd Round with the 17th Pick. That is some nice value. He used in 1st Round Pick on Cornerback Pierce Vereen 81 Overall. He got a 79 Overall LE in Rashard Newton with the 127 overall pick. His only mistake was they are average rating, but they add nice value to an already good team.
A- Rating:
Houston Texans added two players above 80 with one being a Star Developmont and the other a Fast Rating.
B+ Rating:
Atlanta Falcons picked up two STAR Rated Players both over 80.
New England also had two over 80. His are Fast Rated.
Other Impressive Drafts were the Kansas City Chiefs. Playoff Team from last season added more young talent. He picked up 87 Overall Kevin Maramarosa ROLB with Fast Development. The Minnesota Vikings did pretty well also picking up A LOT of young talent that will find immediate starting roles. He wasn't able to get any 80 overalls but two nice players in Keland Terry and Davius Hayes. Hayes is a STAR and Terry one in the making.
So here are my F Rated Drafts. These owners did their team ZERO Good and should fire the GM and the Scouts.
Taut and his Jacksonville Jags - Obvious choice yes I know. Highest rated player drafted was 72 overall. Draft two Slow Developers and only one fast in WR Graham Fairley who was a 70 overall.
The Champ OG and his 49ers - He did get one STAR but he was a 66. He drafted no one over 70.
The Browns and Bears would be honorable mention in this Toilet Bowl category.
Well this is Sal Kipper signing off until the Season 8 Draft Special coming Live on ESPNMBL Network in February.
This by far was the toughest interview I have conducted to date. Several weeks ago I received a tape from a one Sonny Weaver out of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was frustrated with not appearing in Unguarded. There were several threats and MBL Security thought North Korea may have been involved. At first Bomber and Lipp pulled the article, but after several protests here is Unguarded featuring Sonny "Nobody Loves Sonny more Than Himself" Weaver.

What brought you to MBL: It’s actually a funny story. I got brought here by the original Browns owner reluctantly. A few weeks in he got the boot and Bomber had an itchy trigger finger to boot me by association. I explained that I didn’t really care the other guy got the boot and I have been here ever since.
Favorite thing about MBL: Ripping on Taut………Really though it is the group of guys. I spend a lot of time in the chat passing time and the games have almost become secondary. We talk about whatever and usually have some pretty entertaining discussions.
One Player You Would Hate to lose from your MBL Team: I’d say AJ Green, but I let him walk already. In that case I’d go with my rookie WR Albury.
Who your toughest competition in MBL: My divisions. AFC North, TOUGHEST DIVISION IN MBL
Big Off Season Signings: No one really I have never had the funds to be a player in FA. I have signed some depth guys but never a splash. Look for the Bengals to have some funds to make some moves in FA this year after letting AJ and his monster cap number walk.
What Offensive Playbook do you use: Custom. It is a combo
Patriots/GB book. I like it because of the movement of your players to different places on the field.
What Defensive Playbook do you use: Custom Bengals. I use Bengals base with a couple other formations. I have used this playbook for years and know exactly what to run depending on personnel and what the situation is.
Any trade talks you are involved in: Sonny Weaver is the king of trades, but is out of ammo for the year. I acquired a stud WR from Denver that is my number two and has a bright future. I also packaged some picks to Jacksonville during the draft which turned into my all world WR Tahrick Albury. The rookie WR is already an 88 overall in week 5.
Draft Plans: Going forward I will try out Ryan Mallet at QB (had a good game last week). If that doesn’t work out QB will be high on my list. My secondary specifically CB is an older group and will need to be replenished. I also have a couple O line spots that I would address if the right person fell to me.
After this article there is only one thing left to do. Walk away from Unguarded for the rest of the season. This reporter is on to the draft, please be on the lookout for our Christmas Weekend/New Year Special Edition.
We traveled up to Jacksonville this week and Taut gave us his best Marshawn Lynch treatment. He had very little to say. Good news is next week we have Sonny!!!
Taut is 4-3 on the season and in 2nd Place in the AFC South behind the Houston Texans who are 6-2. Jacksonville is the 2nd Ranked Team on Offense. On D they are currently 23rd.

Chiefs are looking forward to the new season. Got a competent qb under center, a legit playmaker at wr, and a young playmaker at TE. Defense is still intact and Justin Houston is looking to wreak havoc on opposing offenses!
We at PMONEY Productions wish best of luck to the Chiefs this year. It's nice to see some other old men playing this game. Thanks for sitting down with us. Now get back to kicking ass in the AFC West!
This week we borrowed the Madden Cruiser and drove across the southern part of the U.S. headed for Houston. I wanted to get to know MR OKTOBA better as he has proven himself as a loyal and dedicated owner in the MBL.
The Texans are getting younger under his ownership. He is building for a bright future. Here is my sitdown with the Texans Owner.
I would like to thank MR OKTOBA for taking some time out of his busy schedule to give us a better look into one of MBL's top Players and Owners.
As we prepare to enter the home stretch to the playoffs I wanted to look at three teams that have impressed me on the offensive side of the ball.
#1 New Orleans Saints - Obvious choice for the Super Bowl Champion from last year. Year to date they are ranked second in the league in passing yards and second in rushing yards. Very impressive in a year that for many find it tough to run. Mark Ingram has 791 yards from scrimmage and 18 TDs. Saints receivers are racking up receptions, yards, and TD's at impressive clip. Kenny Stills has 843 yards for an average of 20.1 per reception.
#2 Kansas City Chiefs - Yes everyone knows Jamal Charles! 116 Attempts for 761 yards, 6.6 Average and 11 TDs. But the Chiefs are ranked 9th in Passing Yards also. Rushing currently at 6th in the league.
#3 Minnesota Vikings - Bad thing for Viks is their D. Ranked 32nd -- but on O they find balance and in a few more seasons will be a force. That is if Peterson isn't locked up or just runs out of running fuel. He has 141 carries for 779 yards and 10 TDs this year. Pattereson and Hubbard have been impressive at WR.
In a game that is tough to find balance these three teams are doing it. It doesn't always mean they will have the most wins (except Saints), but goes to show once they get their D's straight they have the formula for success on the Offensive Side.
MBL has kicked off week one with several very exciting games. The big fireworks came in the preseason as Patriots owner PMoney handed over his team and bought the Seattle Seahawks organization for a large sum of money. Deadrick Peterson couldn't say no to the offer and the sale was made.
Week 1 Standouts:
San Diego (Nuclear Paisy) over Arizona (MrChristofer)
San Diego with a huge win and Ryan Matthews goes off for 147 yerds with a 6.7 per carry.
Jacksonville (Taut) over Philadelphia (stormshadowsrt4)
Rookie Blake Bortles does not disappoint going 14-20 for 240 yeards and 4 Touchdowns. Wow!

Madden 15 we will be on a wait list without a doubt. Many former XBox 360 League Owners I've talked to and they are getting an XBox One. Great News because I will only be taking top owners and players in Madden 15.
