The Colts are once again staring a potential losing season in the face. After a they squeezed by and got their first win of the season they have dropped three straight. The defensive secondary really needs to step up, especially the number two corner. Having said that Vontae Davis has been playing lights out, including getting one interception against the Broncos. The Colts also have two young safeties that have a lot of potential especially Myron Mckay, so understandably they have some growing pains. When asked about the younger players the Head Coach said, "They are two young stars trying to learn the game, just give them some time and some coaching and they'll get the job done."
Offense for the Colts has been a one sided affair, just like last year they have shown they can sling the ball with Andrew Luck, but with the big trade dealing TY Hilton to the Titans for Mark Ingram, and Dorial Green-Beckam everyone is surprised on how little Ingram has touched the ball. When asked about this the Coach said, "We haven't done a good job of being balanced, which I think has really hurt us, our line hasn't been blocking as good as we need them to do, and we are consistently playing from behind, but from a coaching persepective we really need to not give up on the run game so early." Ingram has looked pretty good when he's had decent blocking, if he get by the line of scrimmage he usually has a pretty good gain. Look for the Colts to get him some more touches in the upcoming weeks.
