Great showing to improve to 3-3

After an impressive showing by the Snowhawks they improve their record to 3-3. Coach Tanner seems to have found his QB of the future in S.Morris as he showed goin 10 of 12 for 210 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Snowhawks also established a run game as D.Robinson ran for 102 yards on 24 carries. The defense was the shining star in this game as they sacked C.Newton 4 times and picked him 3. Biggest play of the game came after S.Morris made a poor decision on an out route and got picked the Panthers then had the ball inside the 20 down 24-10. A few plays later P.Posluszny picked C.Newton and returned it for a touchdown that was when the game seemed to be over as no more points where scored. Next week the Snowhawks head to face the struggling Texans can they continue to make improvements and get another win.

1-5 will they be able to turn this around

After yet another loss the New Orleans Saints Redskins now 1-5 on the season. This week the fell to the Ravens by a score of 24-14. Coach A.Tanner seems frustrated with his first season so far "We have to find our identity we have to start winning" bold words but some seem to think that's all he is all talk. Will he be able to turn this around?

Had a chance and blew it

Coming off a bye week the Saint's looked to get their 2nd win of the season. It was a back and forth game and in the final minutes Pittsburgh took a 17-13 lead off a wildcat run for L.Bell. The Saints had a little over a minute left to get down the field and score to win they made it all the way to the Pittsburgh 28 yard line when disaster struck and the steel curtain slammed on the Saints with a interception on the 2 yard line. A close loss is still a loss can the saints shake off this heart breaker bounce back next week.

Another loss drops Snowhawks to 2-3

After another loss Sunday the Snowhawks now drop to 2-3 and fans are starting to wonder what will be made of this season. The offense is still struggling to score points they seem to have found better movement with new starter S.Morris at QB but fail to get anything but FGs in the redzone."Were gonna work on our redzone offense about 85% of practice this week we have to score touchdowns when we get the opportunity" G.Bradley stated. Will the practice help we will find out next week but if it doesn't seems like it's gonna be a long season. With the bye week next week they have plenty of time to practice.

Saints making moves in bye week

After the saints first win of the season they go into Week four 1-2 and are making some moves on their bye week. Some have the fans questioning the head coach but none less he is making changes. Not only did he bench M.Ingram for the rookie out of Miami Carroll, he also is making trades one to the Packers bringing in S.Sheilds a seasoned vet also C.Banjo a promising SS also grabbed a 3rd round pick for Vaccaro. But he wasn't done there striking a deal with the Bengals sending K.Stills, Tillman, and a 6th round pick for a young Barr, Kirkpatrick, and a 1st and 3rd round pick. We will see how these trades turn out for the rest of the season but one thing is for sure the 2019 draft looks promising for the New Orleans Saints.

Who is to blame????

Week 2 for the New Orleans Saints was not a good week getting blown out at home by a score of 52-24. So many problems that came for that game from interceptions to fumbles to getting beat deep the defense gave up 500+ yards. This was truly a one sided game the Washington Redskins dismantled the Saint's defense while forcing turnovers from the offense. "Makes me sick to my stomach to see a performance like that we will be better we have to be" Coach Tanner stated. Now that the Saint's are 0-2 change is just what they need.

Defense Carries Snowhawks

The Buffalo Bills hosted the Portland Snowhawks Sunday both teams looking for a bounce back win. The Bills got off to a fast start and before the Snowhawks knew it they were down 17-3 at the half. The Snowhawks defense decided it was up to them to get them back in the game. Gratz made a bold move and jumped an out route and took it back for a touchdown to give the Snowhawks life. After another defensive stand the Snowhawks offense went on a nice drive to narrow the Bills lead to just 3 with 5 minutes to go. Instead of trying to take the air out of the ball the Bills tried throwing the ball and ended up in the defenses hands for the 2nd pick six. Now with only 2 minutes left the Bills needed a touchdown. They started putting together a nice drive when disaster struck yet again this time by way of a fumble the Snowhawks recovered and sealed the deal. It was a true comeback story in week 2 as the Snowhawks improve to 1-1 on the year and the Bills fall to 0-2.

Fans,Players,and Coaches disgusted

After the season open in New Orleans the usual party was no where to be found Sunday night. The Saints played host to the Cleveland Browns this Sunday for their 2018 season opener with new head coach Tanner the fans packed the dome ready to see what this new coach brought to the table. Needless to say it was an utter disappointment the Saint's offensive struggled all game only managed to put up 6 points. The defense was well can you say poor giving up 140 yards on 20 attempts to Browns running back M.Lynch and 3 touchdowns. We caught up with coach Tanner after the game "Look all I can say is we must fix this we will be switching to 4-3 defense effective next week to prepare better for the run, also we will be running 2 a day practice all week". Some wonder if this hire was a good idea after all only the rest of the season will tell.

Week 1 Heartbreak

Coming into Week 1 there were high expectations for the Portland Snowhawks opening in their new stadium in their new town. Things started off badly for the Snowhawks going down 14-0 after a bad read by QB Brotles went back for a pick six touchdown. After a great couple of defensive stops and a couple of long pass plays a 51 yard to new addition B.Marshall the Snowhawks found themselves in a first and goal. With the Buccaneers looking for a run the Snowhawks went play action for a touchdown pass to the FB to take a 17-14 lead. The Buccaneers then found a way to put a couple of really nice drives together and managed to take a 20-17 lead after 2 FGs with a little more than a minute left for the Snowhawks who only had 1 timeout remaining. The Snowhawks got the ball and drove down the field to the buccaneers 24 yard line and instead of calling a timeout the Snowhawks went no huddle and Brotles threw into double coverage looking for Marshall and ended up being picked and sealed the deal. We caught up with the owner Tanner after the game "We played hard out there but we have to use that timeout and get our heads together you can't just force it" he said. A tough opening loss for this new franchise how will they take next week I guess we will have to wait and see.
