I have the Aviators making the wildcard out of the AFC catching fire in the playoffs and retaking the throne from the newcomer Saints this season. With that being said, there alot of teams under new administration this season, so who really knows whats going to happen.
With a win, the Patriots will clinch the 2 seed in the AFC and give themselves a chance at the 1 seed. To find themselves with home field advantage throughout the entirety of the AFC playoffs the Patriots will need a Beats loss.
The Chargers look to keep their already slim playoff hopes alive while the Beats look to lock up the number 1 seed. The Beats have had the Chargers number of late but don’t expect Brently to go down without a fight.
With a victory the defending champion Marshalls will be a lock for one of the two wildcard spots in the AFC. The Marshalls have had a subpar following their super bowl campaign last season, but all they need to do is get in and they can definitely make some noise come playoff time.
The steelers seem to have the most difficult road to the playoffs in our final week. They will need a win plus a Chargers loss AND a Marshalls loss. With that being said their chances are slim to none.
The Aviators (former Jags) have had a tough season compared to their usual 2 or less loss seasons. Though it’s a down year for them, they are still a lock for the playoffs and are playing to remain the 5 seed. If they somehow lose this game and the Marshalls win, the Marshalls, who have the head to head tie breaker, will take the 5 seed and leave the 6 seed to the Aviators.
With a victory, the wizards at 12-4 will give themselves a small chance at a first round bye. The wizards will need a Patriots loss to become the 2 seed.
With a win and an Eagles loss the Bisons clinch the final spot in the NFC Playoffs.
With a win the Eagles will clinch their spot in the playoffs as the 6thseed. With a Lions victory the eagles will have to hope that the Bisons choke against the Cardinals.
Millz Predictionz
1. Beats 1. Saints
2. Patriots 2. Conquistadors
3. Wizards 3. Lions
4. Flyers 4. Aftershocks
5. Aviators 5. Buccaneers
6. Marshalls 6. Bisons
When the Oakland Raiders selected Charles Woodson Jr. in the second round, organizations around the league thought the Raiders had made a huge mistake. Woodson Jr was projected to go anywhere from the 6th round to not even being drafted, but the Raiders saw something in him. Maybe they knew all along that their former HOF safety's offspring would grow up to play for them and they did not want to risk someone stealing him. Maybe they saw a huge frame and decent speed combination that could eventually cover the deep zones but also come down for run support. Whoever convinced them to take the chance should get a huge raise. The Michigan Graduate is performing lightyears above expectations, for outsiders at least. With 5 picks through 7 games, Woodson Jr. leads all rookie in interceptions and is top 10 amongst all players this season. He is definitely in the AFC DROY talks at this point. When we caught up with Woodson Jr to talk to him about his performance so far he had this to say, "My dad was a huge influence on my game and who I am as a person. To play for a team that my dad was so great for is amazing and really helped me with my transition to the NFL. With that being said I do not want to live in his shadow. I want to be better and I know I can." Big talk by the rookie. Only time will tell if this is just talk, but he is definitely off to a great start.
We, the Oakland Raiders, will be the first to tell you we have been disappointing the last two seasons. Both season the team was built for success but has yet to succeed. With that being said our motto, Speed Kills, hasn't changed and we showed that by adding more and more in the offseason. We were very active this offseason with trades adding key players such as our new slot receiver Chris Godwin who with the help of our two big guys on the outside should progress nicley in our system and the last trade is probably our biggest. With the addition of Montae Nicholson we were finally capable of moving Obi, our star defensive back, to cb, where he can lock down opposing star receivers with ease. We also built through the draft, adding speed demon Steve Smiff who will make most of his noise on special teams but be on the look out for him as a gadget player on the offense. The addition of rookie defensive tackle Myles Boldin adds much needed depth to our interior d-line. Last but not least the pick that rounded out the offseason, Charles Woodson Jr. Woodson is an Obi like safety combining speed and height with hit power and jump. Adding a former Hall of Fame Raider's son can't be bad idea. We have added depth in other positions also and this season has to be different form the last two. It is a definite Super Bowl or Bust season with the talent we have.
Wild Card
AFC:
Browns and Bills could go either way, both teams have had bright spots beating good teams and also have lost a few questionable games. They boast the same record though one is wild card, so no team is truly considered an underdog. With all of that said, the Browns' defense will pull this one out for them.
Jaguars and Chiefs is another tough one because the Jags like to lose all skill in playoffs but this year will be different. Their impressive wins towards the end of the regular season will fuel them through the playoffs.
NFC:
Eagles and Seahawks game is solely decided on whether or not the Eagles can stop the go to plays the Seahawks run every week. The Eagles have already done it once earlier in the regular season and will do it again in the playoffs.
Saints and Vikings game is already decided. Saints easy. Does this even need an explanation?
Divisional Round
AFC:
Jaguars and Bengals seems pretty cut and dry, Jags win, but that's why we play the game and the Bengals are no strangers to winning as the underdog. Jags will keep the underdog down though.
Colts and Browns game is a matchup to watch. The Colts have been great all season but the Browns are the more experienced team. This game will come down to turnovers and the Colts need to stay away from Hubbard to win, which they will do.
NFC:
Panthers and Eagles have yet to meet this seaons. Both have great records and impressive wins to brag about, but the Eagles just seem overmatched in this game and the Panthers will come out with the victory.
Saints and Giants could be a good game, but one team probably won't even show up to the game much like the latter half of their season. With that being said, a Saint's W is almost inevitable.
Conference Round
AFC:
Jaguars and Colts split pretty decisive games this year, both seeming like blowouts. Jaguars will win this game because their players have gotten better throughout the season, while the Colts player might as well have practiced at kicker all season.
NFC:
Saints and Panthers are probably the best two NFC teams and are in the same division. They have played twice this season already and both games were won by the 14-2 Panthers. Though there is a good chance of a close game and an upset the Panthers will ultimately prevail behind the running game of Christian "Baby Jesus" Mccaffrey.
SUPER BOWL
THE ONE WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR.
JAGUARS AND PANTHERS will be a high scoring matchup for the ages and everyone should tune in for these high-powered offenses to go at it. Both teams are in the top 5 of average points per game and rushing yards per game. This game seems like it will come down to who can score last. The crystal ball is saying that Jaguars pull out a close one with a score of 42-38. This will be a fun one.
After constant thought and consideration our organization has decided we would like to build upon our youth craze we showed to being this season. We would liek to get even younger and build through the draft. With that said, we have some guys we are open to listening to offers for to gain draft picks in the upcoming draft. Hit our line if you would like to offer. As always Go Raiders!!!
This is unacceptable, but we will not make the same mistak twice. With a new scheme and trading our vets for young studs came some growing pains but our young guys have no excuse next year. Switching to 4-3 defense mid season seemed to help our defense immensely. We will find our offense in the offseason and then it is over with for the rest of the league. We are going division title or bust and no one can stop us next season. If you have the Raiders on your schedule next season, be ready. It won't be pretty.
Boiiiiiiiiiiiii do we have a story to tell you. Have you heard about the Raiders and Patriots game? If you have, you for sure have not heard the score. Apparently some very sketchy stuff went down at this game, because they played a full game with no score to show for it and if anyone knows the score they aren't spilling. From a source that would like to remain anonymous, "One team just walked off the field with 5 seconds left, everyone was in utter disbelief and then a large blinding flash went around the stadium's monitors and once everyone could see again the teams were both gone and the scoreboard was blank. As we all left the stadium asking everyone what happened men in black suits and ties continued to ask us what we remembered from the game and if we knew the score, but no one knew the answers to their questions." Other people have come forward, saying strange stories, most too far fetched to believe, but one common story we've heard is that five Patriots players decided to pick a fight with three Raiders players at a local club later that night. Needless to say the Raiders players, though outnumbered, still one the brawl, but suspensions seem inevitable. It is unclear who the players involved in the incident were because no one will say any names. Alot of fishy things going on here, hopefully by this time next week we will have more on the story.
We have made many strategic moves since the start of this season, and we plan to continue making moves until we reach our goal. Our goal is to get younger and faster in all skill positions. With the youth and speed comes some lack of experience and awareness but we hope that our great coaching staff lead by head coach, Matt Millen, can mold these exceptional raw talents into pro bowlers as soon as possible. Though we are getting younger we still plan on winning. We have added a number of new guys and let go of some great players too, but you have to spend money to make money. Our additions are headlined by Danielle Hunter and Chris Conley who look to have an immediate impact on the field. We have also added 3 rookies Cordrea Tankersley, Kenny Golladay, and Isaac Asiata (Not Pictured). Cordrea will definitely see action at the nickel while Kenny will share snaps from the slot wide receiver position with Listenbee. Asiata is going to have some big shoes to fill as he will replace Gabe Jackson who was an amazing offensive lineman in his stint with our organization. Please do not judge the editing skills, for we are good at football not photo editing save that for Steph and insecure women.
