Coast 2 Coast Week 6 Power Rankings
32) New England Patriots 0-6: After struggling all season last year their Patriots still haven't figured out how to right the ship. Tom Brady should’ve retired last season because his awful play over the past season and a half has hurt his legacy. They’ve been blown out every week in the 2020 season which must have this fanbase fuming. On the bright side TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins has played great this year leading NE in yards and receptions with 28 catches and 401 yards.
Key Stat: Tom Brady is second in the NFL with 15 INTs
31) Carolina Panthers 0-5: Carolina has big issues on Offense. With an aging Cam Newton and a bad Offensive Coordinator the Panthers struggle to move the chains. With one of the League’s top mismatches with McCaffery they still can’t seem to get him involved. On the other side of the ball the Panthers have some good talent but they don't seem to be playing as a team.
Key Stat: Second year pass rusher Brian Burns leads the team with 5 sacks
30) Baltimore Ravens 0-5: How could a team with so much talent and speed be winless? The ravens need to bring in a new head coach that can pull the potential out of his players. Baltimore has lost all but 1 game by one score. Baltimore was blown out 53-0 at home by the Redskins in week four. Lamar has been turnover prone this season with 13 ints and 2 fumbles. The Ravens did lose their rookie RB with a broken collarbone. With injuries and lackluster Oline play Lamar is set up to fail. The ravens defense has played decent but not great, they usually can keep the team in the game but as the game goes on they tend to fall apart.
Key Stat: The Ravens are last in the NFL in total yards with 1660
29) New Orleans Saints 1-4: NO were blown out bad in week 1 & 2 losing in both 41-7. After being humiliated the Saints turned it around a bit making their next three games close losing by only one score. With top Offensive stars Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas playing at a high level the Saints believed an aging Brees was the issue which lead the organization to trade their second round pick for Marcus Mariota. With a new QB under center they hope they've found their answer.
Key Stat: Marcus Mariota has a 3-1 TD-INT ratio compared to Brees who has 6 TDs to 11 INTs
28) Chicago Bears 1-4: Chicago has the 3rd worst offense in the league but has the 18th best defense. This team has relied so heavily on their defense to win them games and now that they've become average on that side of the ball this team has fallen apart. Chicago believed that bringing in vetran QB Andy Dalton would allow they to be more consistent on offense as he’s a big improvement over Trubisky but that experiment has run its course and he’s been released. Now Chicago is lead by their 5th round pick Mason Fine who is eerily similar to Trubisky.
Key stat: the only bright spot on offense for Chicago has been Josh Gordon, who leads the team with 21 receptions 357 yards and 3 TDs
27) Seattle Seahawks 1-4: This is literally ran by a retarded kid and is only in power because of the fucking make-a-wish foundation. Poor Russell Wilson is doomed.
Key Stat: DK Metcalf is monster after the catch, over half of his 286 yards have came from after the catch
26) Pittsburgh Steelers 1-5: Injuries and misfortune describe the steelers season. They’ve had several key offensive stars hurt throughout the season so far and to top it off Teddy two Gloves ruptured a disk in his back. If they can somehow turn it around they could possibly make a late season push and sneak into the playoffs.
Key Stat: Edge Rusher TJ Watt has been unblockable tallying up 6 sacks so far this season
25) Miami Dolphins 2-4: After passing on amost the top QBs in the draft Miami now has an underachieving Rosen.Rookie RB Swift has been good this year but needs to be more durable. The Dolphins need to be more aggressive on defense since they only have 2 sacks. after having a shit ton of draft picks last year this team is still a long time away from being competitive in the AFC
24) Indianapolis Colts 2-4: Indy has a strong Running game led by Nyheim Hines but their issue could be their passing game and below average defense. Jacoby Brissett literally only passes to TY Hilton and it is usually deep which leads to him being sacked several times. The Colts Defense has a few good players but lacks the depth needed to produce. Their top defender is Malik Hooker whos been playing at a Pro Bowl level but he will need some more help if the Colts want to turn their record around.
Key Stat: TY Hilton leads the NFL with 755 yards and 8 TDs in six games played
23) Cleveland Browns 2-4: After an up and down season in 2019 Cleveland needed to improve their Oline to protect Baker. Their Front office improved their Oline play but this team still struggles. Some believe that Baker needs to stop relying so heavily on OBJ and Landry, while some think the Browns should focus their offense around RB Nick Chubb. The Browns Defense has been one of the frontrunners for DPoY Myles Garrett. He currently is 3rd the NFL with 9 sacks. With a great pass rusher and stud CBs the browns have the talent to turn it around but will they?
Key Stat: Baker Mayfield is currently the most sacked QB in the league with 24 sacks
22) Chargers 2-3: After a horrendous 2019 season the Chargers could only go up. They got lucky at number 2 and drafted QB Joe Burrow out of LSU. Burrow has put up good numbers so far but also have had his fair share of rookie struggles. If the Chargers want to improve they'll have to improve their weak Oline and get another top pass rusher to pair up with Joey Bosa.
Key Stat: Joey Bosa has dominated so far sacking opposing QBs 6 times / FS Adderley has played great so far collecting 3 INTs
21) Arizona Cardinals 2-4: Arizona is only 2-4 but has the number 3 ranked offense in the NFL. They smilingly can move the ball on anyone but offensive turnovers and a lackluster defense is holding this team back. If Murray can clean up his game and the Defense can start getting more turnover or even make a few more stops Arizona could make wildcard.
Key Stat: In his second season WR Hakeem Butler is unlocking his limitless potential. He currently has 484 yards and 3 TDs
20) Atlanta Falcons 2-3: After drafted Jake Fromm in the first round ATL still decided to start Ryan which seems like a bad move. Ryan has thrown more INTs than TDs and Fromm couldn't be worse, could he? The falcons have been injured this season as Devanta Freeman and Richardo Allen are hurt . But despite that the falcons have moved the ball. On defense, Atlanta has struggled to get turnovers. This team needs to bring in either a good pass rusher or a top CB or they'll continue to be mediocre.
Key Stat: The Falcons only have six INTs this season
19) LA Rams 2-3: With a very top heavy roster this has made it tough for their GM to build a deep team due to all the money they've put into Ramsey, Donald, and Goff. Every since getting paid Goff has struggled throwing 3 TDs to 16 INTs. while goff was been bad Gurley has taken control of this offense rushing all over teams. With a talented WR core its shocking to believe a TE is leading the team in catches and yards. Gerald Everett has been great this season leading the rams in every receiving stats. As usual there Rams defense is led by Star DT Aaron Donald who has 9 sacks! LA has struggled getting INTs but they are in luck as next week they play Josh Alleen whos been a turn over machine.
Key Stat: Aaron Donald is 3rd in the NFL in Sacks
18) Detroit Lions 3-3: Detroit got a steal in the second round of the 2020 draft taking Tua Tagovailoa, but their leaky Oline play is making it hard for him to succeed as he's the 2nd most sacked QB in the NFL. With a good running game and talented WRs Tua has talent around him to succeed. Detroit's issues ly in their Secondary that cant get any turnovers and their pass rush not getting enough pressure. Those two combined is a disaster. The Lions should trade the few talented Defenders they have to help build up a new defense and Oline.
Key Stat: RT Ricky Wagner has allowed 8 sacks already this season
17) NY Jets 3-3: I know all of the Jets fans are furious the Jets are behind the Bills but that’s only due to NY not having a better record and not leading their Division. The way they've played as of late could turn that around. NY has found a rhythm by feeding Bell the ball and taking deep shots to Robby Anderson who looks to be a Randy Moss Lite. With Darnold out with injury Jameis Winston has stepped in and played pretty good throwing 10 TDs to only 7 INTs.Bell is averaging 7 yards a carry which has allowed the Jets to open up targets deep. On defense LB Blake Cashman has been a stud flying all over stopping outside runs and shutting down the deep middle of the field on passes. The Jets have young playmakers all over and if they can keep playing at this high of a level we are all in trouble when Darnold comes back.
Key Stat: WR Robby Anderson already has 7 TDs this season
16) Buffalo Bills 3-2: Despite just losing to the Jets Buffalo is ahead of them in the standing due to them leading their division. Buffalo has a strong running game great weapons to throw to and a top 3 defense BUT Josh Allen has taken a step back this season. His turnovers are the reason why Buffalo is 3-2 and not 5-0. If Josh can't cut down on his turnovers or start making more big plays Buffalo will not win their Division and miss the playoffs.
Key Stat: Buffalo’s Defense has allowed the second least amount of yards so far with 1126, only behind the Redskins. The question now becomes can they keep up this high level of defense without Edmunds who is now hurt
15) Cincinnati Bengals 3-3: What a turn around its been for Cincy! They were awful last year but now they lead the AFC North. With Jalen Hurts starting this season they've been better than last year but Hurts definitely has room for improvement. Joe Mixon seems to be unhappy to no longer be the lead man in Cincy and now splits time with Jordan Howard. On Defense Geno Adkins has had a career resurgence this season with 9 sacks. The two Safeties for the Bengals have been shut down both collecting 5 INTs each!
Key Stat: SS Von Bell leads the Bengals in tackles and is tied for the lead in INTs
14) Dallas Cowboys 3-2: this is Zeke’s team as he is 2nd in the NFL in rushing. Dak has played like dirty booty cheeks throwing 4 TDs and 12 INTs.While Demarcus Lawarence has continued to play at a high level young Edge Dorance Armstrong has started to break out tallying up 4 sacks already. If the Cowboys want to make playoffs they'll have to KILL Dak and hope they can get more turnovers on defense.
Key Stats: Leighton Vander Esch leads the Cowboys in TFL and INTs
13) Houston Texans 3-2: Defense and running game are the Houston strengths. Gareon Conley has been playing at an All Pro level collecting 6 INTs! Despite all the INTs the Texans have struggled to get sacks. On offense Peyton Barber have played great averaging over 5 yards a carry for the first time ever. DeShaun watson has struggled in all passing categories and has been turnover prone. If Watson can turn it around this team can make waves throughout the rest of the season.
Key Stats: Gareon Conley leads the NFL in INTs
12) Minnesota Vikings 3-2: Mitchell Trubisky could be an NFL QB LMAO! He's been decent which is actually what this team needs. While Dalvin Cook as been great he’s now hurt but they have Alexander Mattison who is a very good backup that will play well until Cook comes back. Diggs and Jeudy have been as good as advertised and an arguing Thielen has picked apart slot DBs. On defense Danielle hunter have been unstoppable leading the NFL in Sacks!!! Slot DB Alexander leads the team in 5 INTs. this is a very dangerous team as long as Trubisky doesn't forget how to play QB.
Key Stat: Danielle Hunter is unblockable good luck to any Tackle semt to block him
11) Green Bay Packers 3-2: with an aging Aaron Rodgers the Packers have relied on their running game. Aaron Jones got hurt which was a big hit but Jamaal Williams has filled in nicely in his apacence. While DeVante Adams has picked apart opposing defenses Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been a touchdown machine. 4 out of 12 catches he's had are TDs! While the defense has been good the real MVP has been the packers Oline, they've only allowed 7 sacks all year.
Key Stat: Jamaal Williams has balled out while Jones has been injured. He’s averaging 63 yards per game.
10) Tampa Bay Bucs 3-2: The Bucs feel like an old fashioned team rushing the ball down your throat and playing good defense. While Jimmy G has been up and down the Bucs continue to run all over you with their speed backs. On D Devon White is shutting down everything from passes to any kind of run. While White has been out of this world he needs a bit more help to take this team to the next level. Tampa will continue to get stronger as the season goes on, which is a scary thought.
Key Stat: White leads the team in tackles and INTs!
9) NY Giants 4-2: Danny Dimes might not have a lot on his plate but that's best for the team. Hes converting 3rd and longs which is what he has to do. SaQuan is still a freak while all the Giants WRs have been equally involved. With a lack of pass rush the Giants defense has found ways to win. MLB and freak Athlete Deon Bucannon leads the team with 5 INTs. With versatile LBs and young DBs the giants are a talented team that can make playoffs or faceplant and go 4-12
. Key Stat: SaQuads is 4th in the NFL in rushing with 645 yards and 4 TDs
8) Las Vegas Raiders 3-2: The Raiders are playing great offense and defense. Carr has been lighting up defenses only because Jacobs has dominated defenses and been a TD machine. Rookie WR Tee Higgins has been amazing putting up All Pro numbers. To top off their offense the Raiders oline has only allowed 3 sacks! Maxx Cosby is a legit pass rusher that teams need to gameplan around or else he will take over. All these sacks Crosby has put up has forced QBs to throw the ball away as soon as pressure hits them. The Raiders look to dominate whoever hosts a playoff game.
Key Stat: Maxx Crosby is 2nd in the NFL in sacks and second least sacked QB in the NFL
7) Washington Redskins 5-1: The Redskins run a run heavy offense centered around Derrice Guice. Haskins is only asked to make comeback drives and convert 3rd and longs. When the Redskins do pass they only focus on McLaurin and Reed. On defense the Redskins rank 1st in total sacks with 26. All those pressures have led to several INTs, a total of 17. The Redskins are a good team but continuously come up short against the eagles.
Key Stat: iDL Matt Ioannidis leads the skins in sacks with 8
6) San Francisco 49ers 5-1: Drafting Justin Herbert out of Oregon 26th overall in the 2nd round has shown to be a steal as he’s been one of the best QBs in the NFL. Herbert has 1774 yards 21 TDs and 5 INTs, just incredible. While Herbert is lighting it up so is Tevin Coleman whos already over 900 yards rushing. The 9ers Defense is terrifying lead by Nick Bosa and JJ Watt! Those two tear apart Offensive lines and break QBs. With all the pressure they get on opposing QBs they've been able to get an insane amount of INTs. Good luck stopping this offense that can run all over you but still has the speed to run past you.
Key Stat: SF has a total of 24 takeaways this season
5) Denver Broncos 5-1: Drew Lock is developing into an elite QB this season. Lock is one of the top statistical passers but has also shown the ability to come up clutch in big moments. In Denver Von Miller continues to lead a good defense that prides itself on a bend but don't break mentality. Denver has been great this season at intercepting opposing QBs tallying up 20 INTs. Denver looks to take the top wildcard spot in the AFC.
Key Stat: Slot CB Bryce Callahan has been given a chance to play outside this season and he's excelled at it intercepting opposing QBs 5 times
4) Tennessee Titans 5-0: OMG the Titans have gone from worst to first in their division. The titans picked first in the draft and they are a top 4 team! Ryan Tannehill has been perfect so far throwing 10 TDs and 0 INTs while completing 76% of his passes. Derrick Henry has been good so far averaging over 100 yards per game.Despite being one of the highest rated prospects this generation Chase young is still trying to find his groove in the Titans defense only sacking a QB once. The Titans might not have a bunch of sacks and INTs like other top teams those will come while they play a great team defense where everyone is accountable for their assignment.
Key Stat: Ryan Tannehill is the only starting QB to have not thrown an INT so far
3) Philadelphia Eagles 6-0: The NFC Champions haven't missed a beat this season beating every team in their way. Philly found a steal in the 5th round drafting the fastest RB in the class and taking advantage of that speed. He might have just got hurt but the Eagles will just continue their next man up mindset and continue to win. Rookie Isaiah Simmons have been exactly what the eagles needed on defense shutting down the whole middle of the field on passing downs> if anyone in the NFC wants to make it to the SB they'll have to run through Philly.
Key Stat: Philly have acquired WR John Ross, this under the radar move is something that could put them in position to win the SB
2) Kansas City Chiefs 5-0: Mahomes continues to be unstoppable as he’s done nothing besides throw dimes all over every defensed he's faced this season. He’s done a great job spreading the ball to all of his speedy weapons and not focusing on just Hill. Frank Clark and Chris Jones have been a terror to Olines so far racking up 10.5 sacks combined already. KC looks to be the top challenger to the SB Champs Jags.
Key Stat: Rookie MLB Dylan Moses from alabama leads the team in tackles and INTs
1) Jacksonville Jags 4-0: Fuck this team right!?! They won the SB last year and have the nerve to continue to win smh… Minshew Mania is still running wild unfortunately and we all hate it. While Minshew has been hot they've seemingly forgot about running the ball as Fournette only averages 55 yards a game. Jacksonville’s Star edge rusher Allen is a pace to break his career high in sacks as he's already at 9.5. The Jags have not had one player come up with a bunch of INTs but it seems like everyone on their defense has one. If anyone can beat the Jags it will have to be on a day when Minshew finally gets caught for being a cocaine Mule. Key Stat: Rumors say Minshew smuggled over 40 thousand pounds of pure columbian Cocaine over the Mexican border between the SB and draft… what a legend
Big trade for Buffalo A couple days after trading away LB Matt Milano for the Broncos 2nd round pick, Buffalo sends their 2nd round pick along with the Broncos 2nd for young star Defender Rashan Gary from GB! Gary was a polarizing prospect coming out of Michigan due to him playing all over the defense. Gary played LB, Edge, and even DT for Michigan. GB never used him much in their defense which was shocking since he could’ve played anywhere in their 3-4. Buffalo’s defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier was ecstatic in their press conference earlier as he talked about how me can’t wait to scheme up different ways to use Gary. Frazier said they’ll line Gary up all over the field to create different miss matches. Rashan will see mainly one on ones which will be new to him. The Bills now have one of the youngest and top pass rushing units with a mix of young stars and old vets. The Buffalo Bills now have Ed Oliver, Uchenna Nwosu, Rashan Gary, Shaq Lawson, Jerry Hughes, Everson Griffin, Jachai Polite. That is a dangerous group of skilled rushers.
All the Bills fans are sad they'll have no game to go to this weekend. All tables are safe for one week. Buffalo has an early bye this year which usually isn’t a good thing. The Bills will be banged up late in the season but on the bright side this week off will allow JK Dobbins to come back sooner than expected. Dobbins is missed in this offense but the combo of Singletary and Kenyon Drake have filled in nicely. Drake could pair up perfectly with Dobbins with how explosive he’s been. Buffalo is a young team which will help them this season because of their early bye. Hopefully the team can stay healthy after this so they can make a SB run.
Every since buffalo lost Dobbins many wondered who would the Bills turn to for an explosive running, they’ve found it in Drake. Drake rotated in all game vs the Dolphins and lead the team with 70 yards and a TD on only 9 carries. He averaged 7.8 yards per carry with is more than rookie sensation DeAndre Swift had all game! Drake had a beautiful 30 yard TD run where he read the Oline and cut backside and outran the defense. Till Dobbins is healthy Drake will start with singletary rotating in to keep him fresh. Also back up QB Kyle Allen has more yards on his only run (12) than Swift had all day (6).
