1. Green Bay Packers: A
After a tough season that saw them just miss the playoffs, the Packers made several big offseason moves, including moving MVP runner up QB Odom, in order to make a splash in this year’s draft. The moves may work out as the Pack make 2 great selections to bolster them in the trenches with DT Malik Stark and RG Jermichael Anderson. Some good additions at LB and another speedy at WR across from explosive Morris Haynes make this team a dangerous one in 2020.
2. Indianapolis Colts: A-
Also coming into this draft with a slew of picks, as is often the case, the Colts not only added depth to their already stacked squad, but also added a few talented rookies in skill positions and key areas. Look for HB Brieon Mosley, CB Malik Burch and LOLB Deshawn Dunbar to make some noise in the next few coming seasons.
3. Minnesota Vikings: B+
Another usual in the in the top few picks in the draft, the Vikings were able to snag a lot of NFL ready players from this year’s pot. Names like CB DJ Hansen and WR Julliam Doolittle don’t appear to have elite level ceilings, but they are going to be ready to step on the field immediately and make an impact for your squad.
4. New York Giants: B
One of the best drafts we’ve seen from the Giants in the recent few years, they seem to be focused on developing a monster front line adding in stud DT Steven McClendon, promising RG Dustin Austin, and gem in the rough LG Evan Harper. Add to that dynamic CB Fernando Patrick and new addition to WR core Marquee Scott, with the moves made during the offseason in the secondary and wideout units, Coach Savage will have a lot to work with this season.
5. Dallas Cowboys: B
Selecting at #1 and picking the most highly touted player in the draft in WR Jamerson McKenzie, the Cowboys give former MVP QB Pookie Crawford a new dangerous partner in crime, along with some new speedy supporting cast members to facilitate his offense with. Toss in standout DT Reggie Harvey joining an already menacing defense and the 2 Time (current league) Superbowl champions are not making stoping them the least bit easier. We may be seeing fireworks again in Dallas soon enough.
In what has become an epic match-up the Cowboys and Giants battle it out in the Meadowlands once more for the rights to the NFC East crown. It will be a battle of the young QBs as perennial MVP 'Pookie' Crawford takes on consensus ROY Chadd 'Double-D' Reeves. This will definitely be one to watch.
