Lindsay came over from Denver after not being able to strike a deal. Instantly he became a contributor in a backfield that he shared with Mark Ingram. Freddy Gage saw the future and the Gm sent ingram to Minnesota to give him a chance at more carries and to make Lindsay more comfortable. As far as the season went he missed the 1,000 yard mark by a 145 yards but missed time during games. A nagging injury hear, a hard hit there and you get to the end of the season and you can kind of notice the spots you missed that led to the decline in yardage. During the off-season Lindsay has hit the weight room and hit it yard. I'm the first string back and Coach is looking at me to carry the loads this year, i don't want to disappoint him. The front office trusted me and offered me a contract that shows I'm here for the long haul, nothing more that i want to do but to make the fans of Baltimore happy as well as making sure the front office gets their money worth. That's why I'm in a Lindsay State of Mind!
Ronnie Stanley was able to test free agency but the Ravens front office has said time and time in the media that hes the number one priority. The priority is to bring stanley back on a deal that hes happy with. We want him to finish his career in Baltimore. The former Notre Dame star spoke with us and said he wants to stay and hes doing his due dillegence by seeing whats on the market. Ronnie Stanley may be the best pass protector in football and bringing him back will undoubtedly help the Ravens for years to come. Lets see how the market plays out in free agency, but hopefully Stanley will be back for years to come.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson continues to electrify TV screens all across the country with his dual threat ability. It didn’t appear to look that way when he was taken with the last pick in the first round of the 2018 Draft. When Jackson entered his name into the 2018 NFL Draft pool, many questions and doubts began to arise about the speedy quarterback. Is Jackson accurate? Does he rely too much on his legs? Is he at the right position? It is widely known that Jackson was asked during pre-draft interviews if he was willing to play running back or wide receiver if he was drafted. He knew it was no wiggle room and wanted to play the position that he grew up playing. Jackson is one of the best players at his position. Jackson is one of the feel-good stories in the league, from being doubted in his upbringing to the NFL, to being one of the leagues most exciting and brightest stars. It will only be a matter of time until Jackson signs a massive contract. Lamar Jackson is still young in his career and will have a tough time getting used to changing defenses as teams begin to gather film and attempt to slow him down. But for now, Jackson, Baltimore, and the NFL are set for a while.
Carolina after starting 0-7 the panthers made a change in coaching. This change immediately proved to be the right decision as they got off to a 4 game winning streak. Eventually going 5-11 after taking a break from the game. This year should prove to be a momentous one as they've switched to 3-4 on the defensive side and brought in some key addidtions through trades. Lawrence Timmons from Pittsburgh and Jason Mccoutry from the Titans brought in to take the reins at free safety. On free agency the panthers added Melvin ingram to boost an even more unstoppable front 7 that should be the best in the league come regular season time. On the offensive side Justin Blackmon the troubled receiver from Jacksonville, Josh Johnson to back-up cam, Bryce Brown and Chris Rainey to take some snaps at the runnng back position. Look out for the Panthers!!!
