NRG = Family

To my NRG Family:

Unlike my previous posts, this article is NOT going to be another attempt to hype my virtual football team, or bash on a guy named Chea who i actually have never met. Instead, I am going to be real with you guys. NRG has helped me take my mind off of personal issues for 2+ years now, and I cannot think of anything better to do at this hospital while my dad is sleeping than to take a few moments to recognize some of my NRG brothers.

Packers: - You have improved every game we played since year 1 in M17. I hope you get a ring while i'm away cuz im coming back with a vengeance.

Raiders: - You are the only one that loves NRG more than me lol. You the real MVP.

Bengals: - Fuck Keith Marshall.

Ravens: - Nothing but respect for you and that defense. Teddy is still hurting.

Steelers: - I lied. Go eat a dick.

Bills:If you played every game like you do when you play me, you would have a ring. Thank you for reaching out today. Means a lot.

Rams: - Loudest NRG member by far lol. Can't imagine if you get a ring lol.

Redskins: - Always have my respect after those Playoff L's you gave me. League is better with you in it.

Broncos: - Glad you finally stopped stealing my plays. hehehehe. You are better without them IMO.

Jags: -  When i come back, you better have a ring.

Saints: - No i will not trade you Diggs stop asking lol.

49ers: - You are what makes the league what it is. I couldn't do what you do man. Thank you for all you do. Side note: I loved nothing more than sending you on all those fishing trips.

Titans: - Thank you for all you do. You and i had our Madden beef but got nothing but respect.

Cowboys - Thank you for all you do. When you gonna get a ring though?

Bucs - Look forward to more preseason games. Good dude. Just need to find consistency.

All kidding aside. Thank you guys for all your prayers sent this way. My father needs them right now more than ever.

Keep labbing because i'm coming for blood when i come back!

- Joey

Redemption

0-5.

That was the Minnesota Vikings record in the playoffs going into the 2021 NFL season. Words like "fraud" and "choke" were often used to describe this team despite a 44-4 record over the past 3 regular seasons. Considering that one of those playoff defeats came at the hands of the pitiful panthers, it is easy to see why.

The 2021 regular season provided much adversity for the Vikings. A mid-season injury to the reigning MVP Teddy Bridgewater and a blowout home loss to the Ravens were tough to overcome. However, this team seemed to hit rock bottom when they were shutout at home by the team that knocked them out of the playoffs the previous season, the San Francisco 49ers. Most teams would have packed up and took a vacation after a defeat like that, like the Seattle Seahawks coach. But, not this team.

The Vikings coasted into the NFC Championship game. Where the defending champ 49ers were the only thing in their way from finally reaching the Super Bowl. This time the Vikings had a score to settle. A 10 point 4th quarter deficit wasn't enough deny this team, and they advanced to the Super Bowl thanks to a 366 yd 4TD performance by Teddy Bridgewater.

They had one final team in their way of redemption. The Denver Broncos and their vaunted defense. During media week, many claimed that the Vikings vertical passing game would struggle against the Broncos vaunted secondary. But, all doubters were silenced on the first play. They quickly learned that this team was not going to be denied of their first Lombardi trophy. They finally secured their place in history, and did it by going 4-1 against the best division in football.

This team should be a lesson to all coaches out there. Don't give up and keep practicing. Anything is possible. (Except for the Panthers and Seahawks. They you have no chance.)

What's Wrong With The Carolina Panthers?

The Carolina Panthers are still searching for their first win of the season, and many people are wondering how this could be possible with freaks like Luke Kuechly and Cam Newton leading the way. After taking a look at some statistics, it's clear that the root cause of this seasons struggles point directly at the head coach.

The Panthers have rushed for a total of 59 yards so far this season, in 3 games total (not a typo). Many people around the league do not understand why they consistently run 4 and 5 WR sets with a bum like Philly Brown as the slot receiver.

It's clear that the Panthers "throw and pray" method has finally caught up to them. So grab your favorite blanket and get comfortable Panthers fans. You're going to be at the bottom of the NFC South for awhile.

Vikings Roll Past Bucs. Division Showdown Looming.

The Vikings explosive offense amassed 500 total yards vs the Buccaneers this week. But, coach Zimmer was not impressed. When asked about the performance he said "I just hope that the offense actually shows up for the playoffs this year".

The Vikings will host the undefeated Chicago Bears next week. The Bears have always played the Vikings tough. They will be looking to overthrow the Vikings and become king of the north.
