lg is obsessed with stats, evident from the numerous spam of the stats command to the trackig of yearly award races. We didn't do fantasy lg this season but here are the qb rankings 1-32. Standard ESPN scoring format was used in the rankings. Only 3 QBs are in the playoffs from the top 11 and 2 QBs are in the playoffs from the bottom 11. 6 of the remaining 10 QBs ranked in the middle are in the playoffs. Mariota led qbs in rushing yards (793) and rushing TDs (10), the next closest QB had 376 yds and a few tied with 4 TDs. 9/10 QBs with highest interception missed playoffs while 8/9 QBs with least amount of interceptins made playoffs. 13/14 QBs with the lowest yards per attempt missed playoffs. Most attempts: Shockey (521), Webb (519), least attempts: Brady (194), Stafford (206).

It’s now time for the off-season as every team is taking a hard look at their roster and deciding where they need to improve. I did my best to take a look at the rosters and giving my opinion which position(s) they’ll need the most improvement.
Bears
A roster with plenty of positions that need an overhaul. The war is won and lost in the trenches and the Bears are lacking in both sides of it. A couple spots in o line are weak as well as d line. There’s only 1 player that has a zcv rating of at least 80 between the linebackers and defensive backs. Tough to pick just area to improve.
Bengals
Needs to address o line (LT) and d line (DE) in the draft/trades. Nice pickup of Roby to bolster the defense.
Bills
Could use some DEs as 31yr old Jerry Hughes is the only DE on the roster. 82thp Alex Smith is not the answer at QB but at least he’ll have the best checkdown game in lg.
Broncos
Solid roster but could use another DE opposite of Wolfe. Bradford is a decent QB but at 31 he won’t be improving much. No kicker on their roster also.
Browns
Both tackle positions need an upgrade.
Bucs
All o line positions need to upgrade outside of LT and C. The highest zcv CB is 80. Can also use better DEs.
Cardinals
No qb on their roster at this point is holding back an almost super bowl level roster. Could use an upgrade at WR as well.
Chargers
Solid roster but I would look for an upgrade at DT. All below 90str and 80pmv.
Chiefs
RB, DE, and 2nd corner opposite of Peters are areas of needs.
Colts
Perine had a great year but will it be worth it on a 87spd 81agi RB? I would first target an improvement at both DE spost.
Cowboys
DE is weak, maybe they can move a DT at DE if they plan to run a 34. Best CB only has 80zcv.
Dolphins
D line needs a revamp and they have no kicker on their roster.
Eagles
LG, C, MLB needs targeting. Highest zcv on a DB is 80.
Falcons
LT and OLB/DE (depending where Beasley plays).
49ers
Underrated roser, needs some better coverage LBs. Tyrod doesn’t look to be getting any better as his highest throwing accuracy is 83.
Giants
Decent user LBs but highest zcv is 73.
Jaguars
Needs to target DTs and maybe a better MLB to user. Bortles is still a toss up.
Jets
GOAT roster. Dobbs OTB. Hit me up.
Lions
For some reason have 7 RB on their roster right now. ROLB and TE are areas of need.
Packers
Highest speed WR is 67ovr with 90spd. O line needs an upgrade with an aging Bulaga. An aging Mike Daniels causes an improvement at d line with the highest pmv 79 with a 67ovr.
Panthers
No WR over 80ovr. Could use some better DEs with the highest bsh at 80.
Patriots
A lot of money tied to slow WR group of Alshon and Kelvin, almost a complete opposite of the speedster WR group of last year. No FS on their roster, we might see some position changes might be imminent. No kicker or punter on their roster.
Raiders
WR group consists of 2 58ovr players and a group best 80ovr Chris Hogan. Losing Donald Penn to retirement leaves a hole at Derek Carr’s blindside. FS is weak with the highest zcv at CB being only 81. Can also use some better coverage LBs.
Rams
O Line is a mess with the best blocking attribute at 82.
Ravens
Solid roster but needs to upgrade at the safety positions, especially SS.
Redskins
Offense, both guard positions have be better. DT and ROLB on defense.
Saints
OLBs need to be improved on defense. FS also, but i believe Bell can be a legit starter with proper game prep.
Seahawks
Interior o line. DE opposite of Golden. An aging KJ Wright might be moved to DE and get a younger LB. With Sherman leaving, CBs also a spot of need.
Steelers
D Line. Best attributes across d line is 80pmv 79fmv and 81bsh on 3 different players. Best zcv at safety is 78.
Texans
Get JJ Watt some more help on the d line.
Titans
Getting rid of McKinnon leaves an aging McCoy and a slow Henry. Best zcv on LBs is 73.
Vikings
Both tackle spots as the best blocking attribute is 75.
Good luck to all the teams. Click here for a more detailed breakdown of every team.
We saw the fastest defenses, now let's take a look at the fastest offenses. It's the average speed of 5 positions. 1 RB, 3 WRs, 1 TE. I didn't include QB bc not many use their qbs to scramble and gain huge yards.

I'll tally up the record of the teams after the season and see if speed on offense meant the as much as speed on defense.
As lg enters its 2nd season, owners are trying to save money any way they can to re-sign their players and make moves for free agents in the offseason. Not all owners are concerned about their cap, or at least don't care. Here are 6 contracts in lg that will make you question why those players are still on the team.
Bears
QB J. Cutler. $13m net savings if cut or traded. 34 years old and not even starting. Most expensive backup.
Bucs:
QB E. Manuel. $7.5m net savings if cut or traded. 70ovr and never sees the field.
Cardinals:
LB D. Washington. $10.5m net savings if cut or traded. 30 years old, 74ovr and nothing special. Plenty of LBs like him went in FA for minimums.
Colts:
LB D. Jackson. $5.85m net savings if cut or traded. 33 years old with 73 speed.
Jets
LB D. Harris. $7.84m net savings if cut or traded. 33 years old with 78spd
Lions
S G. Quinn. $7.08m net savings if cut or traded. 31 years old with 82spd and 78zcv.
