On Fire!!

Only way to explain Blake Bortles play against divison rivals Colts, was he was ON FIRE!!
Bortles had a 96% completion rating, going 23/24 with 3 TDs.. He utlilzed 8 differnt recievers to end up with 309 yards in air.
Bortles wasnt the only star on offense, rookie phenom Lenoard Fournette carried 31 times, for 209 yards and 1 TD.
"Our offense was definitely on point today. Colts defense hits tough, causing at least 3 fumbles. luckily we were able to overcome those, and outscore them in this OT win" exclaimed Jags Head Coach Adam.

Defensively for the Jags, no true shining star. Yannick Ngakoue had his lead leading 20th sack of the season. Tashaun Gipson secured the Jags win in overtime, by picking off Andrew Luck, as they were driving down the field, with 3 mins left.

Sidenote: Kicker Josh Lambo missed a 30 yard FG with no time left on the clock in the4th quarter,to send this game into OT. He redeemed himself with the game winning FG.

Next up for this Jaguars team, they host the undefeated Seattle Seahawks next week.

Fournette Rumbles!!

Leonard Fournette showed us today why he should be in the running for ROTY. 28 carries 167 yard while scoring 2 TDs. Brining him over 1000 yards for the season with 16 TDs.
Blake Bortles added 273 yards in the air with 3 TDs for the Jaguars 48-9 victory over the Cards.
Jaguars lose rookie WR DeDe Westebrook for the rest of the season with a dislocated elbow. Before his injury exit he caught 6 passes for 136 yards.

On defense Yannick Ngakoue added another sack, bringing his total to 18 on the year... newly acquired DT Marcell Dareus added 2 more, bring his season total to 8.
The star of the defense was offseason addition CB AJ Bouye who contributed 2 ints to help secure a defense dominated game for the Jags.

"This win is nothing to brag about, Cards head coach Doublenutt wasnt present ,and their team looked disorganized without him."..said Jags head coach Adam.

Next week the Jags host division rival Colts into their facility.

Bortles losing it.

Blakes Bortles threw 3 int in Adam S return game to management.

"It was like Vontaze Burfict had our playbook" stated Bortles after game. He was refering to the 2 Int that Burfict had.

Offensively the Jaguars run game was in point, as Fournette continued with his stellar rookie season, with another 100+ yard game on the field.

As stated earlier Bortles inaccuracy was a huge letdown. The addition of Allen Robinson being injured and not playing didnt help the WR core.

Defensively Yannick Ngakoue was the star. Gaining another 2 sacks, bringing his total up to 16 on the year.

Yannick continues to make a name for himself, in his 2nd season in the NFL. Voters have him on top in the AFC voting for Defensive Player of The Year.

Next up.. The Jaguars host The San Diego Chargers.

He is back....

After a week unexpected vacation from coaching.. Adam S returns to the helm of the Jaguars. "Its good to be back. Wasnt expecting the call to return.. but glad i did" stated Adam when asked. He returns on a upcoming bye week.. where he is expected to concentrate on moving some picks to bolster up his Oline. "Protection for Bortles is part of our plans.. lanes for Fournette is top priority"

Jaguars fall to Titans with 20 secs left

The Jaguars overcame a 21-13 score to take the lead 24-21 with less than a minute left on the clock. Titans came out with 0 timeouts , and ran a hurry up offense that the Jaguars couldn't adjust to. With 20 seconds remaining Mariotta connected with Corey Davis in the endzone, which ended up being the game winning touchdown. Offensively for the Jaguars rookie sensation Leonard Fournette had his 1st 100 yard rushing game of his NFL career , and added his 2nd TD of the young season. Once again, the defense was the stars of the game. This week it was Yannick Ngakoue who added 3 sacks and 6 tackles. Calais Campbell added 2 sacks to his season stats. Coach Adam said at the post game interview "We just couldnt stop Mariotta. The final drive we couldnt get the right formations set against their hurry up offense. Props to them for their gameplan" Jaguars are trying to add to their offense by working out a deal with the Dolphins for veteran TE Julius Thomas. It is rumored the Phins will be getting a 3rd round pick in exchange. "The paperwork is in, just waiting on approval" said Adam about these trade rumors The Jaguars travel to Baltimore to face Flacco and the rest of the Ravens squad.

Jaguars Start the Season With a Win.

Jaguars open the season with a impressive win over their divison rivals the Houston Texans, 35-17.

Offensively they were led by Allen Robinson who caught 4 passes for 111 yrds and 1 TD.

Bortles was extremly accurate going 15/19 286 yrds 2 TDs.

The stars of the game were definetly on the defense.

Newly acquired CB AJ Bouye had a 43 yard int that he ran back for a TD.

Myles Jack added a fumble recovery for a TD.
