Game of the Week 4

-The BSTDS Game of the Week moves on to the next match-up in its highly acclaimed coverage of the national football pantheon with a confrontation between former league champions. Both undefeated. Both admins. You hype yet? Nole_Blooded_ aka CutlertoMarshall aka CutlertoHester VS JJ_82!

The Chicago Bears (3-0) will play host to the visiting Oakland Raiders (3-0). This promises to be must-see television, as both teams have been playing some excellent football leading up to this game and neither is ready to start losing any ground in the race to the playoffs.

The Raiders stole a 17-13 win from the Browns last week, surviving a scoreless second half, after starting the game with a 17 unanswered points. Their victory prevented Christian Ponder's stellar effort from going to waste and the workhorse yardage of Latavius Murray makes you wonder if he's gearing up to have a huge game. Can these players put on a repeat performance and be the difference against an undefeated Bears team, on the road? We'll see.

The Bears survived a similar scare last week, winning 20-17, though nearly losing to a Seahawks team looking to notch their first victory of the season. Despite a highlight reel showing from Kevin White, the Bears almost found themselves on the wrong side of a comeback last Sunday, as the Seahawks outscored the them 17-13 in the final three quarters of the game. Can the Bears reproduce the same results at home versus an undefeated Raiders team, who takes no prisoners? We'll see.

On behalf of the entire league... ya'll better show up!

Tune in to the league chat for the official game time and then tune into the league site for coverage.

Final Score:
Bears (3-0) – TBD
Raiders (3-0) – TBD

Game of the Week 3 Recap

-The BSTDS Game of the Week continued its national football coverage with an inter-divisional showdown when the Buffalo Bills (BJames1125) and Miami Dolphins (RHCP34) met up for some Week 3 action!

Buffalo (1-1) was looking to rebound after a backbreaking home loss at the hands of the Patriots the week before. This week's challenger, an undefeated Dolphins (2-0) team, hungry for their next win. This clash of dynamic offenses, featured some of the league's unsung heroes trying to prove their case and put the league on notice.

Believe us, here at the studio, when we say that no was expecting the defensive showcase that was put on display this last Sunday. This season has seen a lot of interceptions, and this game was no different, seeing each team account for at least 3 knocks to the quarterback's egos.

While the passing game for both teams did their best to diminish any shot at victory, the difference in this game was felt at the running back position and it's name was LeSean McCoy. Though the back had two fumbles, it was his 137 yards on 12 carries, for an 11.4 per yard carry average, that was the defining factor in this game. The Dolphins, unable to stop the Bills running attack, were held to just under 10 minutes of total possession time for the game!
