Blood Sweat and TDs Record Projections
By Olivermax
With the BSTDS finally kicking off in their preseason games every team believes they have a shot at winning it all. Each team is facing obstacles but they all believe they’re going to be the one to win Super Bowl 50 and get to kiss the Lombardi Trophy! On there T.V screen of course… Some teams seem to have a better shot at it than others, at least from the outside. But here’s my insider take on record projections using the least amount of bias possible.
NFC East
-
Redskins (14-2): This team is poo poo, literally the worst team in Madden skill wise in my opinion. However they have a great owner in chrisgopher who is a great player and with a somewhat easy schedule that’s why I see him having one of the best records in the league this year.
-
Cowboys (11-5): First four games of the season will be tough without Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain, also facing four solid offenses. But I see Money1701 going 11-5 with Romo and Dez leading the charge.
-
Eagles (8-8): Chip Kelly was at it again this offseason trading not only his QB in Nick Foles but also his number one wide out and star RB. They did good in replacing these players but who knows how the chemistry will work out. I believe this team will start off very poorly but towards the end find some good chedda and straighten out their record.
-
Giants (6-10): So many questions for this Giants team, can they stop the run? Can their offensive line hold up to establish the run and not force Eli Manning into bad throws? I don’t see this team making the playoffs but with a lot of youth and a good owner in Mcguirkj this team could be a force down the road
NFC North
-
Bears (12-4): Just like the Redskins this team is poo, but they got a solid owner and what should be a solid offense if Culter doesn’t suck.
-
Vikings (9-7): With AP back on the team and Teddy Bridgewater entering his sophomore season I could see this team winning this division with a potentially elite defense.
-
Packers (9-7): Madden wise I have no idea how good this guy is and that’s one of the main things that matter, but with an elite offensive and a very good defense he should have a chance in this division.
-
Lions (8-8): Lions are missing Megatron to start the season and with Suh taking his talents to South Beach I don’t see this team making a run for the postseason.
NFC South
-
Buccaneers (12-4): The only owner I’ve played in this division has two giants at the WR position(Evans and Jackson) and a rookie QB who can get the ball down field in Jameis Winston. This team also has an elite DT and ROLB therefore I see this team winning the division and going to the playoffs.
-
Panthers (7-9): Another owner I don’t know but with Benjamin out this season the Panthers will have a great defense but struggle scoring points. I could see them making the playoffs like the Cardinals did last year but don’t expect them to make a run.
-
Saints (6-10): This team should be decent with a somewhat easy schedule and bringing in HB Spiller for an offensive boost and some playmakers on defense.
-
Falcons (5-11): With no defense except Desmoned Trufant I expect them to give up a ton of points and to finish at the bottom of the division.
NFC West
-
Seahawks (9-7): The Seahawks skill wise should be one of the best teams in the league this year but as we saw last year Jerm didn’t do so well with the Broncos. I expect them to have a shot at the Wildcard but don’t expect them to make noise in the playoffs.
-
Rams (6-10): If the Rams can get their 4-3 defense working with Donald and Fairley and work something out in their secondary they could finish with a record above .500 but just like the Giants there’s too many questions like how will Foles play? Can Gurley adapt to the NFL? Can they be consistent? I guess we’ll see.
-
Cardinals (12-4): With Carson back at the helm at QB I could easily see them winning the division and making a run for the Super Bowl.
-
49ers (3-13): 49ers had the worst offseason I’ve ever seen with almost all of their elite linebacking core retiring or getting released. Facing the AFC North and the NFC North is a nightmare if you can’t stop the run.
