MVP: Le'Veon Bell- ran for 1558 yards and 18 TDs while averaging 6.1 yards per carry leading his team to a #1 seed in the AFC to earn this honor
Defensive MVP: Khalil Mack- Was a monster of a player this year and put fear into every offensive line he faced, racked up a total of 19 sacks to earn this award
Rookie of the Year: Jameis Winston- Threw for 3982 yards with 27 TDs and a 90.2 QBR as well as leading his team to the playoffs in an impressive rookie campaign.
Coach of the Year: Mike Zimmer- Led a potent offense and hellacious defense to the #1 seed in the NFC this season after they were 7-9 the year prior
Most Improved Owner: Famoustarstrip- After struggling all last year he came into this season to prove a point and did he ever taking a mediocre Ravens roster to a 12-4 record
A game the should've been a shootout turned out to be a 13-6 defensive battle in favor of the Steelers. Jimmy G struggled mightily in his first career start going 8-22 for only 64 yards and 2 picks. Big Ben didn't fare much better completing 14 of 26 for 194 yards 1 TD and 3 picks. Besides a 20 yard run by Dri Archer neither team had any rushing to speak of. It was clear the NE secondary had no answer for Antonio Brown who had 6 catches for 138 yards and a TD earning the game MVP. Both of these teams should be fine going forward and gonna chalk this up to first game jitters.

Our first Game of the Week will feature TA's Pittsburgh Steelers making the trip to Foxborough to take on Ollie and the Pats. Both will be missing key pieces as the Steelers Le'Veon Bell was suspended 2 games and Tom Brady for the Cheatriots will be missing 4 games barring an appeal. TA had his regular solid preseason going 3-1 averaging 31 ppg while allowing only 18. Ollie had an average preseason at 2-2 averaging 22 ppg but allowing 24 ppg. When asked about the matchup TA had this to say,"Looking for a great playoff preview out of this week 1 clash of the titans." to which Ollie replied,"I'm comin for dem cheeks." This game boils down to one simple question. Can the Pats keep pace and match scores with the Steelers? My answer to that question would be no chance. I see TA jumping out to an early lead and never looking back.
Prediction: Steelers win 30-14
The Tampa Bay Bucaneers have found the future of the franchise drafting Jameis Winston with the 1st overall pick. Winston is hands down the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck and one of the best college football players to lace them up.Bucs coach Lovie Smith spoke to the media Friday saying, "With his new weapons, Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson, there is no reason we should see some prolific/ROY type production out of the kid." Thats a lot of pressure to put on such a young talent but Winston is more than used to dealing with the pressure and scrutiny that comes with playing QB at a high level. During his first year as a starter nothing phased him as he went on to win a National Championship and the Heisman Trophy and the success didn't stop there. With controversy seeming to swirl around Famous Jameis every week he went on to still have a great season just falling short of back to back championships.
Now its on to the NFL for Winston and he has no plans of slowing down. He has come into camp a man on a mission already knowing his playbook inside and out, working hard on the practice field, and most importantly to the fans producing on the field. In 2 quarters of preseason action Jameis has certaintly looked impressive with a 129.1 QBR, going 7-10 for 85 yards and 1 TD. He seems to have won over the locker room in quick fashion veteran wide reciever Vincent Jackson was quoted as sayng, "With the talent this kid has and the work ethic he shows every day, there is no reason to think he won't be one of our big leaders in the locker room this year." At the end of the day Winston knows the only thing he will be judged on from the outside is wins and losses, most importantly Super Bowl wins and losses. " I've won in High School, College, and now I'm ready to prove I can win multiple championships at the highest level." said the first year QB. When asked how he thought it would feel to hoist a Lombardi Trophy Winston replied, "Man words probably can't explain how that feeling would be." adding " I know this much WHEN I win one ya'll are invited to my place for the biggest party you'll ever see and there will be plenty of crab legs to go around!"
