The second season of XM16 is here and everyone is pretty excited to see how their teams perform. For this upcoming season I would like to start a weekly prediction blog where I look at five games each week and pick who I think will win. To keep myself from making 'easy picks' every week I will just pick the five games listed at he very top of the weekly schedule page (Excluding my games). All predictions are based on non-ap, user vs. user games.
Since this week's predictions are before the season starts I will also include overall season predictions as well. I'm doing a quick prediction for the season so please don't be offended by what your team is listed as.

It was an interesting year for the 2018 Tennessee Titans, finishing with their first ever winning record in XM. A year full of ups and downs where they started the season at 6-1, but lost their magic and finished the final 9 games at 3-6. A far better year than any before, but yet another year full of should have, could have, and would have.
The biggest highlights for the team this year were the dominant o-line and running back Terrance West. West joined the team late in the 2017 season and was out of the NFL all year prior to his signing. The Titans made him their man in 2018 as he carried the ball 295 times for 1,682 yards and 11 TD's, finishing 7th amongst all the other running back's in the league. West also finished 1st in the league in yards after first hit with 726. The Titans o-line led this destructive rushing attack, as well as only allowing quarterback Joe Lockett to get sacked 30 times, the fewest ever for Lockett in a 14+ game season. Interior linemen C Robb Roberson, RG Kelechi Osemele, and newly aquired LG Meiko Capers were VERY dominant as they only gave up 8 of those 30 sacks combined.
There was however a lowlight to the Titans season... that Mickey Mouse horse shit defense. The Titans defense finished in the middle of the pack statistically in yards allowed and interceptions, but once against proved to be useless in pass rush and forcing fumbles. The defense finished last in the league in sacks with 18 and last in the league in fumbles recovered with just 1. This must change in 2019 for them to be a playoff contender.
Can the Titans defense turn it around in 2019? Can they knock off the cheesy Colts team (that they dominated in week 8) and win the division? Stay tuned...
