AFC
Wildcard
#5 Ravens over #4 Diablos (Already played)
Played at night of advance, Ravens slap Diablos by 50.
#3 Bills over #6 Titans
Titans took over Z's team and have 1-5 since. Only a few weeks ago (in game) the Bills beat the Titans.
Divisional
#2 Jaguars over #3 Bills
I think IF the Jaguars are to lose in the AFC playoffs, this would be the game it might happen. The Jags beat the Bills but it was one of the few games NFZ did not win by double digits. Bills has potential to shock the AFC.
#1 Orbits over #5 Ravens
Orbits swept the Ravens in the regular season and to my memory have not lost to them in 3 seasons. Don't expect this to change.
Conference
#2 Jaguars over #1 Orbits
NFZ routs Steph, No one is shocked.
-----------------------------
NFC
Wildcard
#5 Falcons over #4 Hawks
Grinch is given the Chloro treatment and gives up 200+ rushing yards. Close game.
#6 49ers over #3 Eagles
Could go either way. Never know which Teddy and which Chloro will show up.
Divisional
#5 Falcons over #2 Lions
Bos is my son. That will never change. Falcons in a rout.
#1 Panthers over #6 49ers
If anyone in the NFC group has a good chance at beating Pinch Dog its Chloro's run game. Needs to go full Brick and hand it off every play.
Conference
#1 Panthers over #5 Falcons
See my Falcons/Lions comment. Now Change it to "Jmoney is my dad" and you have the same explaination for this one.. Panthers in a rout.
-----------------------------
Superbowl
#2 Jaguars over #1 Panthers
Jmoney comes in thinking repeat and NFZ has other plans. The AFC captures their first superbowl win in Year 3 and NFZ gets his revenge for the 62 point ass whooping from Season 2.
NOTE: TEAM ORDER IS NOT FINAL
This has been known since April the second the Ravens drafted QB Lamar Jackson. Expect Steph to hike and haul, throw 38 interceptions and then trade him to Max for a king’s ransom after 1 season. Overall the Ravens are a low-key solid team with a lot of undeveloped young talent. HOWEVER…With Steph in charge expect it to be ruined by the time week 1 kicks off.
If it wasn’t for the fact that Immy was the Jaguars last season I probably would have slotted them here. I doubt he wants the same team again and the Browns are as good if not better of a Madden team than last year except without the 200 draft picks. Baker Mayfield isn’t Lamar Jackson but he is still going to be a lot of fun to play with (Sus). Garrett, Landry, Njoku, Ward, Coleman, Peppers.. You could go on and on. This team is going to be just as deadly under Immy’s possession as it was under Max’s in 18. BTW, Will there be anything more entertaining than Immy beating on Steph twice a season? Over/Under 2 playoff appearances for Steph in 19?
Bos with the 3rd pick lands what is in my opinion the best team in Madden for the 2nd straight year. Outside of a sorry ass QB this team is stacked from top to bottom. We all know Bos is scared to pass so giving him a RB like Fournette is going to turn him into Teddy. I forecast a lot of under 10 pass attempt games in Bos’ future.
Max returns to the homeland and takes his favorite team IRL after a 1 year break in bless. The Falcons are loaded with talent across the board but that Matt Ryan contract will force Max to keep him around for at least a little while.By going to the NFC Max also avoids playing Immy except for the yearly Super Bowl matchup. If Chuck also chooses the AFC, Max could have a fairly easy ride each season to the big game.
Teddy loves to run and what better team to run with than the St. Louis Gurley’s. The Rams acquired A LOT of talent IRL this past offseason and are loaded. He’s the first to join the NFC West where he resided in bless last season. Will Puff, Brick and Jlo follow?
I know Millen probably would have wanted the Falcons and with them gone I figured he would pick a young team with some homegrown Georgia talent. Roquan is the newest shiny toy in Chicago and im sure Millen will enjoy usering him. Overall the Bears might be one of the best teams in the game when it comes to young talent on both sides of the ball. He’s the first to join the NFC North as we now have 1 user in all but East of the NFC.
I don’t know Dunn all too well so this is largely based off information given to sources about where Dunn is looking to house in Madden 19. The Texans have a strong foundation of vets while also having some young fun pieces to play with (stop it). Clowney and crew don’t have the same appeal as they did as younger players but they’re still amazing pieces to have. If nothing else, DeShaun Watson is a lot of fun.
I don’t care what he says, if New England is there Ramuk will take them. Especially since the top “cheese” teams are long gone. He will ride Brady’s dick until its limp. Knowing how much Millen loves his bulldogs, Ramuk will probably trade him Sony for 18 1st round picks. Not a huge fan of this team in M19 but it’s not New York Jets bad.
Brick’s dream has come true. The New York football Giants are in his possession in bless. Engram, Barkley and OBJ will be a lot of fun on offense. Brick is the first to join the NFC East so I expect a large number of NFC East teams to get taken quickly since its 2 free wins. If Beal ends up being decently rated that’s a nice addition to an already stacked madden secondary.
Puff gets to live the dream just like Brick, his favorite squad IRL is coming home to tubby. Puff vs Millen battles would be extra lit. Lions roster in madden is ass but we have half of the entire Lions fanbase in Bless so I don’t see them falling too far.
Jlo has a thing for ruining players like Obi, why stop now? He gets his hometown team led by Chucky. Even though they aren’t as sexy as they were last year, the Raiders still have a lot of Madden appeal. Once the Losses start racking up for Puff, He can take great pride in at least looking good in the best uniforms in the league.
Another user I don’t know a whole lot about outside of the fact that he wins and for the most part dominated since entering Bless towards the end of the last cycle. He’s a diehard Eagles fan so it only makes sense he would snag them and beat on Brick twice a year. Chuck deciding to go to the NFC makes Savage’s life a little harder come playoff time.
Probably the 2nd worst kept secret behind Steph and the Ravens comes Brent and the Chargers. I highly doubt anyone takes them higher than this so he should have them on lockdown. So far only Jlo is in the AFC West so as of now Brent is looking okay to maybe win some division titles. Overall I like the Chargers roster but there’s nothing truly exciting about it. It’s the type of team that goes in the middle of a team draft.
I like the Chiefs but not sure I like them enough to go top half of the league. The offense is young and looking like a ton of fun but that defense is either A) Old or B) Shit. Badger will pretty much have to completely rebuild that side of the team. With only 1 team left in the AFC West let to be unclaimed, the division still seems wide open for anyone to win.
This is starting to get weird. Colts in the top half of the draft?! From my understanding Kayen is a Colts fan (?) so it’s not as shocking as some random person taking them this high…But still…The Colts?! All jokes aside, the Colts had about 15 draft picks this last IRL Draft and have a lot of nice young players that could set the team up nicely moving forward if Kayen develops them correctly.
Ok, this list has officially gone to hell. Colts and 49ers back to back at 15 and 16?? One of the guys I know little to nothing about. One of the either A) Troll lists OR B) Sucker for punishment type of guys. Who knows, maybe he’s a 49er fan. Or just a psycho. Good Luck. BTW: Shanahan can go to hell.
Rumor has it Bowskii explored a trade up to secure the Dolphins. In the words of the ESPN crew… C’MONNN MANNNNN. Not a damn soul wants the Dolphins other than this man. No doubt in my mind the Dolphins go 32nd if not for the fact we have a fan of the team in the league. I know you are looking at this list seeing Colts-49ers-Dolphins thinking maybe you scrolled to the bottom of the mock team selection by accident.. But nope, were right in the middle.
Have no clue who Guffy wants. His college team Ole Miss is such ass no one worth a crap entered the NFL this year to make me believe he would want a particular team. His mancrush Sheli Manning is already owned by Brick. Where does he go? Your guess is as good as mine. I went with the team that has the most assets and young talent left. The division isn’t stacked with user talent either. Logistically it makes sense. He can ruin and waste another young talent like he did Ross in 18.
This is kind of a curveball as I originally figured the Cardinals would go into the bottom 5 but either A) Tony’s interest list was a troll OR B) He legit likes a terrible madden team. Yeah just like every team they have some pieces but this is one of those teams I look at and want to throw up. Outside of their rookies and maybe David Johnson and Hassan Reddick this team is ugly to me. Not Dolphins/49ers Ugly …but still ugly.
I think JRes will go back and forth between the Steelers and the Packers. He loves his Steelers however the Packers have more assets and young talent. I think if the Bills had fallen to here he would have thought long and hard (yall are so sus) about taking them with 99 yolo bomber Josh Allen available. Unfortunately Guff opted to ruin them first.
I contemplated putting Thor down for the Broncos but Leveon Bell and that run game/defense was too good to pass up. Thor’s simple game plan is perfect given the weapons the Steelers have. If the games route running is at any all improved (doubtful) Antonio Brown will be perfect in his short passing game.
Team is assy af but Randy is an inbred fan of the swamp squad so to no one’s surprise he gets them. Overall they have a lot of madden talent especially in Kamara and Lattimore but they still lack some of the same issues they had last madden. LBs are terrible, QB is old as dirt with an arm weaker than Steph’s calves, and a bunch of WRs that simply not the type that excel in a video game dictated largely by speed.
If Ace wasn’t a lock to get the Redskins in XM I would put him down for them here however I expect him to want to use a different team in Bless. Cam Newton while he may be 29 is still a lot of fun to user and the team has a ton of young talent across the board. This team could go much higher but I didn’t really see a fit with anyone prior to Ace.
No need to discuss this, Rick probably won’t even see this until October but congrats Rick on the boys and your 4-12 record in season 1!
To (only) Z’s shock the Titans actually do fall all the way to 25 for him. Outside of Mariota and Davis this team is just not that exciting to look at. It’s already bad enough the owner let some drunk wannabe Picasso create their new uniforms this year. Don’t @ me.
I considered putting myself down for the Bengals until I realized my madden skills took a dumpster dive and I would have 0 shot ever winning a division title at this time point with Immy around. Then I realized that Chuck is in the NFC East, Max is in the NFC South, etc etc it don’t matter where I go…Imma suck. Who better to suck with then the Washington Redskins?! I get my Obi light in the white god Troy Apke and Marshawn Lynch Jr in Derrius Guice.
Steel probably had the same thought process but said fuck it. At least he can whore out John Ross better than McGuffy ever did. Going into Immy’s division likely means that Steel will quit by Christmas but at least there will be some interesting battles until then. God forbid Steel wins one.
It’s a miracle (not really) but the Broncos fall all the way to 28 for AC to finally get his (shitty) team! Congrats bud. The AFC West is now full and is still wide open. AC has plenty of stick skills but is probably one of the more unlucky madden players I have ever seen. He will have a shot to win this. That pass rush should be nasty!
Its crazy how quick teams in Madden change. In 15, 16 and even somewhat in 17 this is a hot commodity team. Here we are in 18 and not much noise goes on with the Minnesota Vikings. Yeah they have talent especially in their front 7 on defense but something about the team isn’t as exciting as years past and I can’t exactly put my finger on it. If Willie can ever get over losing a SB by a centimeter he will have a shot to win this division for sure.
Just like the Vikings, getting the Bucs this late is actually a blessing. They have a ton of talent both young and old plus a QB that likes to eat W’s. I would not be surprised if the Bucs go top 15 but I also would not be surprised if they fell this far.
Old. Large Contracts. Lack of young talent. I honestly considered the Jets over the Seahawks for Retro. This team is no Bueno for M19. Sorry Retro! The good news is he has a mobile QB to haul ass with when his O-Line lets defenders into the backfield like a welcoming party. At least he gets the fun of usering a 1 handed LB.
Halp doesn’t care who he gets. At least he will actually have Jamal Adams and Leonard Williams to use and develop. I couldn’t say the same last year. Thanks Billy. Sam Darnold is a good statue of a QB. When you don’t do anything but throw 5 yard routes and run the ball 48 times a game, Sam Darnold should do just fine. Outside of those 3 guys and maybe a few others that is about all that Halp has to work with. Good Luck.

Low Key Goats
When everyone was laughing at Artie all draft process for having the IQ of a retarded squirrel Artie continued to shrug off the haters and today he finally got the last laugh. Coach Doom was so confident in Artie's ability to play that he traded down out of the 1st overall pick and then snagged him with 4th overall while picking up other assets. Artie was pure trash at LSU but that didnt sway Coach's Dooms thoughts on Artie. "As soon as I saw the combine numbers I knew he was destined to be a Jet" coach Doom told the New York times. Artie posted 2,106 yards and 26 TDs...Talk about cheddar people. Artie was in the running for every award he was eligible for (MVP, OROY, OPOY, RBoY) but was klamped by the all madden gods in W17 causing him to lose a few of the awards to Tevin Coleman. Artie did end up taking home OROY and was voted into the probowl by his adoring fans in New York. New York Times reporter Willie Stroker met up with Artie this morning to discuss the accomplishments he had during his 1st season in the NFL.
---------------------------------------------------------
Willie: Good to see you Artie, How are you feeling?
Artie: Pretty good Willie, I'm the best RB in the game right now so it feels great to finally have proven myself
Willie: Best in the game? Even better than Coleman? Fournette? McCaffrey?
Artie: You heard me.
Willie: What happened W17 against the Dolphins?
Artie: Retro wasent tryin to let me shine Willie. First drive I put up 60 yards and a TD and Retro decided he had enough of me already and bowed out. I still put up 130 and 2 TDs on the CPU gods but it took about 50 carries and we lost by 80... It was a sacrifice that coach Doom made.
Willie: How did you feel when you found out Tevin Coleman took home MVP, OPOY and RBoY?
Artie: I put out a hit on Retro. My goons in Montreal gonna take care of him. That has been handled.
Willie: How did you have such a great season as a rookie?
Artie: I'm the most bless runner in the league. My O-Line did a great job of opening zero holes so It wouldnt have been possible if Coach Doom didnt call stretches and Tosses the entire season. I owe him a lot of thank yous. He put a lot of trust in me despite me having zero idea on blitz pickups or even knowing any of our offense.
Willie: Wait..You didn't know the offense?
Artie: Didn't need to. As long as I knew when they was gonna give me a toss or stretch I was good.
Willie: Well...This has been eye opening to say the least and I think some people might be shocked at some of your statements so far. You don't think this diminishes your accomplishments in any way?
Artie: Why would it? The stats speak for themselves Willie. As long as I eat we win. Its proven math. You know it. Coach Doom knows it. Hell the whole Bless league knows it.
Willie: What do you have to say about the accusation you faked an injury only to come back?
Artie: The gods knew that without Artie the Jets can't win. I wasen't faking it Willie. I legit broke every bone in the lower part of my body. It was a miracle I was able to recover in 14 minutes and go back out there and ball the f*&^ out. I thank god and shitty Madden servers.
Willie: Well it's been fun Artie, anything you would like to say to the Bless league before heading out to prepare for your first playoff game?
Artie: I'm going for 2,500 and 30 next year. IDGAF about the playoffs *Drops mic*
AFC
AFC North - Browns have this division already clinched
AFC East - Jets have this divsion already clinched
AFC West
Chargers 8-5 (Denver, Pittsburg, Denver)
Raiders 8-6 (Cleveland, Seattle)
Bad news Millen. The fall of the Raiders will continue. I see them losing out and finishing a very mediocre 8-8. Meanwhile Brent's Chargers will win out and finish the season with a solid 11-5. Expect to see about 24 Raiders OTB between 65-75 overalls in the coming weeks.
AFC South
Colts 11-3 (Tennessee, Houston)
Jaguars 10-3 (New York G, Houston, Tennessee)
As expected Immy and Z are in a heated battle to win the AFC South. They split in their 2 meetings and unfortunately for Immy he took an L vs Plantano while Z won in a crazy game. Plantano will have a rematch with both but I see both Immy and Z winning out with both teams finishing 13-3. The extra divisional loss will be Immy's downfall that results in Z winning the South.
Current AFC Wildcard
Jaguars 10-3 (will finish 13-3 as stated above and take the first wildcard spot)
Battle for the 6th seed
Raiders 8-6 (8-8 finish as stated above)
Texans 8-6 (Jax, Indy...Ouch. 8-8 Finish)
Ravens 7-6 (Pitt, Tor, TB...10-6 Finish)
Bengals 7-7 (Atl, No..8-8 finish)
That's right after starting 0-4 the Ravens finish the season going 10-2 and take the #6 seed. Watch out, they're on fire.
NFC
This is where it gets juicy. With only 2/3 games left for every user not a single division is locked.
NFC East
Eagles 7-6 (Cowboys, Panthers, Redskins)
Giants 6-7 (Jaguars, Cowboys, Falcons)
Jags being on the Giants schedule kills any hope. Giants at best finish 8-8 which will not be enough to beat the Eagles out for the East. Eagles finish 2-1 with a final record of 9-7 and take home the East Crown.
NFC West
Conquistadors 8-5 (Tampa, Seattle, Detroit)
Sehawks 8-6 (Mexico, Oakland)
Do I really want to trust Teddy to take care of business? Probably not. But if we all know 1 thing in Madden it's that Brick is a sure lock to suck when it matters. Brick will choke vs Teddy and at best finishes 9-7. Teddy wins out and closes out a strong 11-5.
NFC North
Bears 10-4 (Tampa, Minnesota)
Packers 8-5 (London, New York J, Arizona)
Another lock for sucking when it matters...Enter Steel. Don't be surprised if Thor beats him. If he doesnt he will probably Quit. One or the other is a solid gamble. I am Steel's daddy so expect him to blow a 14 point lead in the 4th and find the closest bridge to jump off of. 9-7 finish in Green Bay. Randy lost to Brick surprisingly but I expect him to close out the final 2 games with W's and finish a strong 12-4.
NFC South
Panthers 9-5 (Philly, Dallas)
Falcons 8-6 (Cincy, New York)
What Jres does won't matter. Panthers finish 11-5. Jresus splits going 9-7.
Current NFC Wildcard
Green Bay 8-5
Seattle 8-6
Atlanta 8-6
New Orleans 7-7
All 4 of these teams are finishing 9-7. Good luck to each of you and may the odds be in your favor. Start praying to the Madden gods.
AFC
AFC West
Most competitive division in Bless league. I think any of the 4 can win it with a few lucky breaks going their way. I think all 4 teams will beat each other up throughout the season with the winner being decided in the last 2-3 weeks. Knowing how Matt is, he will probably take this extra personal and god forbid he wins the AFC West I will be reminded about it every other day as if it matters. Brent seems to have fallen off some since M17 but he can still play with anyone and with Steph’s 0-3 start I think this may be the year he takes the Crown of the West. Aaron is the sleeper of the division. When he isn’t throwing god awful interceptions and/or getting daddy dicked by Madden he can beat every user in Bless. While I still think Steph can rebound and defend his AFC West crown, the 0-3 hole is really going to hurt him and with a very tough schedule I don’t think he will have enough to go back to back in the West.
AFC East
Tough schedule facing the NFC North and a few other good teams along the way. I’d love to say I will go 14-2 or better with a team full of mental midgets but I expect a few painful losses along the way that will send me into a rage similar to when you remind the Chargers how bad he got klampt by McGuffy. Even though I beat Joe fairly easily in W1 I expect him to rebound and challenge me throughout the season for the division crown. I really like his addition of Andrew Luck to the squad however if all he is going to do is throw swing routes to Shady McCoy and run WR screens it was really unnecessary to bring in a top flight QB. Cabin can be a sleeper if things go right and he even finished season 1 with a winning record. If not for throwing 2 costly pick 6s he probably beats me in W2. If he can continue to improve like he did at the end of M17…Watch out. As for Retro…He scored 2 points in W1. TWO. How did he respond in W2? He scored 3…He was bad in S1 and looks to be headed down the same path in S2. Prove me wrong sir.
AFC North
Savage doesn’t lose often and I simply cannot crown someone like McGuffy a division title over the defending Superbowl champion Browns. I think if Kumar had gotten a QB in the offseason he would have been a bigger threat but already in an 0-2 hole with Hackenshits at QB I sadly think this season will end up being a wasted one. Luckily he has 2 1sts in next year’s draft and will hopefully get his QB this time. Pittsburgh pulled off the shocker in W2 vs the defending NFC Champion Carolina Panthers but that still does not have me convinced just yet. Again, prove me wrong sir. McGuff goes 10-6 and again but loses the wildcard spot to Millen due to a h2h loss in W15.
AFC South
This is a 2 team race. In S1 Z took home the crown however in S2 I think they swap records and Immy wins the South. I hated the trade of Luck for Tyrod meanwhile Immy had a signature draft where he gets every WR that runs a sub 4.4 while also getting a QB not named Blake Bortles. Houston and Tennessee I know very little about however I do see they were bodybags in S1. Both have good teams but are the users good enough to compete with Z and Immy? Doubt it.

NFC
NFC West
Let’s be real here. This division was a dumpster fire in S1 and will probably be much of the same in S2 and every season after. BTG won it by default. We all know the man never makes the playoffs in any league he is in. Back to reality buddy. Even with a still stacked Seahawks roster BTG goes .500. Teddy pulls his head out of his ass and gets the former 49ers to a winning record and an NFC West crown. Jlo and puff still suck massive dick and will fight it out for a top 10 pick.
NFC East
Not gonna lie, I do not know a whole lot about Honeybadger or the Giants user. However I see both had good records and so I am going to just split it down the middle at 11-5 with the Giants winning the division due to a coin flip from my lucky penny. Kendrick will continue sucking but that’s okay because everyone at least appreciates his suck unlike Jlos. Tony is a prick and deserves nothing other than last place. :)
NFC North
Similar to the AFC West. Any team can win it and I expect the division to be decided in the last few weeks of the season. Bos is trash so I would not be surprised at all if he manages to finish last. Griff is the goat GM (Don’t @ Me) so he very well could defend his title in the North and it would not surprise me. Randy and Steel will both probably quit by the end of the season for some sort of reason but for now I will slot them with having winning records.
Note: Bos may be gone so if so, Slide Lions down to Last and Vikings Up to first.
NFC South
Even though Willy got his asshole reamed in W2 AND W3 he will bounce back and take care of business in the South. This is another division that is highly competitive and that I think any of the top 3 can win it. JRes is another Millen type where he will remind you every 5 minutes if your prediction about him ends up wrong. Saints is a good user as well and could certainly pull off the upset and take the South from Willy. Bucs is in a tough spot where he will be just happy to get to .500 in any given season considering the competition in his division.

NYJ Blog W1
Steph’s Daddy has returned to Bless to bring hope back to the talentless squad known as the J-E-T-S.. JETS.. JETS.. JETS. In a statement with New York Media, Doom made it clear that it would not have been possible if not for #billygoats total destruction of a once proud franchise. Bless needed someone that could bring life back into this complete dumpster fire of a team and do so quickly. Enter Doom. Immediately upon meeting with the team, Doom shockingly wasted no time handing out walking papers to over 20 players in Opera fashion. “Forget a hello, how about a goodbye.”
THE REBUILD
Going into the offseason the plan was clear. Cut dead weight, get younger and more importantly GET TALENT. After #billygoat shipped off Jamal Adams and Leonard Williams the star power was severely lacking. Luckily the Jets sucked so much under Billy’s leadership (who saw that coming?!) they were privileged with the #1 overall pick in the draft. After cuts the Jets had approximately 75m in cap space to make magic happen. They won a slew of players in FA that included Jeremiah Attachou, Dee Ford, Eric Murray, and Lamarcus Joyner (and Phillip Rivers). They then traded away a future 1st for stud midget CB Tavon Young which allowed them to then trade down from #1 overall and pickup multiple pieces to help the rebuild (#4 which turned into RB Artie Harris, WR Corey Coleman, LB Emmanuel Ogbah, future 2nd Round Pick). The Jets turned around and had an outstanding draft landing 6 players with a 70+ overall.
After a busy off-season let’s take a look at how the starters on both sides of the ball are shaping out for the 2018 season.
OFFENSE
The Big Uglies
LT Jamal Walls – 22 y/o Quick Dev [76]
LG Gregory Wilson – 22 y/o [70]
C Fisher Lyght – 22 y/o [73]
RG Cooper Harrel – 22 y/o [72]
RT Chance Bordano – 22 y/o [69]
That’s right, an entire rookie Offensive Line of 22 year olds with all of their overalls between 69-76. #yolo. OT Walls was a 7th round projected who Doom decided to take a chance on in the 2nd and it paid off big-time. He followed it up in the 3rd round with OG Harrel and rounded out the O-Line in FA by snagging Bordano, Lyght and Wilson in W1/2 of preseason.
The Money Makers
QB Cooper McCants – 23 y/o [79]
RB Artie Harris – 22 y/o [80]
WR Corey Coleman – 24 y/o [85]
W R Farrington Harrington – 22 y/o [68]
TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins – 25 y/o [79]
Rookie QB, RB and WR#2. For those keeping track that will be 9 of 11 starters for the offense being rookies. Cooper fell to the 2nd round and was the last ‘good’ QB available. The Jets quickly jumped to the podium so they did not have to watch a year of Phillip Rivers. Artie Harris ran the fastest shuttle and 3-cone and somehow ended up with 92 accel and dick slapped with Slow Dev like many other top 15 picks but that won’t stop Doom from whoring him out all year long on toss plays. Corey Coleman will bring a legit #1 WR to New York while Farrington Harrington (no that is his real name) with 93 speed and 97 accel will step in as the #2 and be a work in progress.
DEFENSE (3-4 Base)
DE Sheldon Richardson – 27 y/o Quick Dev [88]
DT Danny Shelton – 25 y/o Quick Dev [88]
DE Muhammad Wilkerson – 28 y/o [82]
Big. Strong. And Old. Doom is probably HOPING madden will allow these fat ass whales to plug holes and limit interior run game. I’m sure they will look to get younger up front in the future but only so much could be done in 1 offseason.
OLB Dee Ford – 27 y/o [82]
MLB Darron Lee – 23 y/o [76]
MLB Emmanuel Ogbah – 24 y/o [80]
OLB Jermiah Attaochu – 25 y/o [84]
BIG money was spent on overhauling this shitshow of a LB core. Now with plenty of speed, size and ability Doom can use his scheme as he would like to and be able to throw guys all over the place running a hybrid 3-4/4-3. Ford and Attaochu were FA wins while Ogbah was a part of the huge deal that involved the Jets trading down out of #1 overall.
CB Jabrill Peppers – 22 y/o [79]
CB Tavon Young – 24 y/o [84]
CB Eric Murray – 24 y/o [80]
FS Lamarcus Joyner – 27 y/o [84]
SS Marcus Maye – 25 y/o [78]
Even though the Jets did not get Mr. 4.27 they did bring in Tavon Young, Eric Murray and Lamarcus Joyner in FA. Height will not be the Jets strong suit and fans will dread how many times nuts will be placed on Jet DBs chins but they have talent and Doom thinks he can make this DB group work well.
That wraps up this blog on the New York Jets. More to come on the season & division outlook and updates throughout the season.

NFC SOUTH
My favorite divison and no I am not in it. In fact, Falcons were not even on my list. Welcome to the Dirty South with Savage as the Falcons, J5 as the Panthers, Randy as the Saints and ElNino as the Sucs..err I mean Bucs. I can see a lot of interesting matchups and playoff races coming from the South with no clear cut favorite every year.
Savage finally gets his dirtybirds and can enjoy a pretty damn nice madden squad with the speed additions the real life Falcons made this offseason. I’m betting Dan Quinn is a madden player and understands the importance. Can Savage bring the Falcons out the gutter that his neighbor Capa has had them in during recent memory or will everyone have to leave like in XM and RFD for him to finally succeed?
Offensive Outlook: Expect a lot of slobbering since this is my team IRL… Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman at RB is a sexy 1-2 punch with Julio and Sanu out wide at WR and younger guys behind them in Justin Hardy and Devin Fuller. QB is probably a spot needing an upgrade over time with mentally challenged Matt Ryan but should serve just fine for at least a season or two. At TE the Falcons drafted a nice madden TE in Austin Hooper which I would expect will start right away for Savage. The O-Line has 3 long term beasts in LT Jake Matthews, C Alex Mack and RT Ryan Schraeder but will need an upgrade at both guard spots as both guys are old as dirt. I expect Savage to probably try and trade either Devonta Freeman or Tevin Coleman as 2 really good madden RBs really aren’t needed. Offensively I expect Savage to use Julio Jones a shit ton and enjoy every moment of it. Outside of a new young QB and 2 new guards the offense doesn’t need much outside of maybe a speed demon freak of nature WR to pair with Julio.
Defensive Outlook: Can’t speak for Savage but if I was running the Falcons with the current roster I would run a 3-4. Derick Shelby and Grady Jarrett would be nice 3-4 DEs with fat ass Rashede Hageman at NT. At LB Vic Beasley, DeVondre Campbell and Deion Jones will all be blazing fast and give Savage a huge advantage in a 3-4 scheme. The one ‘slow’ LB would be the pass rusher opposite of Vic Beasley in either Brooks Reed or Courtney Upshaw which could be upgraded over time to complete the speed demon LB core. At CB Desmond Trufant is a lockdown CB and guys like Robert Alford, Jalen Collins, and Akeem King are nice depth options. Keep an eye out for King if Madden gives him godly speed/accel he could be an amazing #2. At Safety Ricardo Allen the converted CB to FS should be solid and Keanu Neal the 1st round draft pick should be a nice hitter and be similar to William Moore at SS. Upgrades the Falcons could use is another pass rusher, a speedy #2 CB and maybe a 3-4 DE if Madden rapes Grady Jarrett in his ratings.
Cap Outlook: 31.5m
Key FAs: RT Ryan Schraeder, CB Robert Alford, FB Patrick DiMarco, FS Ricardo Allen
Contracts: First off. Matt Ryan is wayyy overpaid. Get rid of him ASAP Savage and you will free a shit ton of money (like 20+m). Sanu is also really overpaid thanks to the real life front office this past offseason but without taking a huge hit in dead money he isn’t really cuttable/tradeable. Andy Levitre and Tyson Jackson can be cut and clear about 10m total without much of any penalty.
ElNino is one of those quiet guys in the league that does fairly well but doesn’t wow anyone. I think he found himself in a good division and got himself a good team that should allow him to compete for the division yearly.
Offensive Outlook: Jameis Winston, Doug Martin, Mike Evans and Austin Seferian-Jenkins…. Monsters. The Bucs could use an upgrade #2 as Vincent Jackson will likely die after S1 at his senile age. The line is solid but not spectacular with a bunch of young guys they drafted a season ago. Charles Sims is a really nice #2 option at RB if Doug Martin stubs his toe and misses time. A huge plus is having Mike Glennon on the team as you know Oz will be calling offering 7 1sts for him the second we start up this CFM. I have never played ELNino so it’s hard for me to know what he will plan to do but either way this offense has a ton of talent and really does not need much upgraded.
Defensive Outlook: If last season’s offseason wasn’t any sort of indication of how nice Kwon Alexander is to use in madden…Well…He’s pretty nice. Lavonte David next to him is even nicer. Grandpa Daryl Smith however...LOL. On the D-Line you have Gerald Mccoy at DT but outside of that it’s a whole bunch of mediocre talents that don’t get anyone excited. At CB they signed Josh Robinson which is huge since we all know he is a beast in madden (and only madden) plus they drafted Vernon Hargreaves in the 1st round so ElNino won’t have to suffer with grandpa speed CBs like Imrran did this madden. (However the depth at CB is still Brent Grimes, Jonathan Banks and Alteraun Verner lol). The safeties are dog shit and will need to be upgraded ASAP. Hell they have a starter named Keith Tandy...Tandy…Yeah..No…Replace ASAP. The defense will need a lot of work overall but the offense has plenty of stars to put up points and keep them in games until the defense is upgraded to the point it can lock down offenses.
Cap Outlook: 62.5m (most in NFL)
Key FAs: CB Josh Robinson
Only huge contract the Bucs have is Gerald McCoy and its much deserved. Bucs are in amazing cap shape and really don’t have any bad contracts. In terms of the money side of it the Bucs are looking like the best in the league. The crazy thing is ElNino can cut grandpa Brent Grimes and slow poke Verner and free another 13m towards the cap giving them just over 75m going into Offseason #1.
J5 finalllly gets his squad in Revo. I can hear him screaming in joy from hundreds of miles away as he jacks off in his bedroom to his Cam Newton posters. Can J5 dominate the NFC South with the Panthers the way his real life team has done for 3 seasons?
Offensive Outlook: You can’t talk about the Panthers without talking about Cam Newton. He is a beast and will probably be ridiculously good in M17 after the season he just had IRL. Devin Funchess and Kelvin Benjamin are a ton of fun on the outsides to just throw it up and pray but they lack the speed you want. Don’t worry though, unlike in IRL this WR core in madden doesn’t suck. Stephen Hill and Corey Brown are the speedsters that will kill from the slot for J5. Jonathan Stewart at RB is decent but look for him to get a new back pretty quick as Stewart is on the old side, has a bad contract and isn’t exactly a good madden RB. Same goes for Greg Olsen at TE. Slow. Old. Expensive. Replace. The O-Line has Trai Turner and Andrew Norwell who are both young and awesome and Ryan Kalil is a nice vet center. The insides of the O-line are set but J5 will need to get new OTs otherwise expect Cam Newton to be running for his life up the middle of the pocket. Offensively I expect J5 to use the good Core of WRs he has utilizing a lot of 4-5 wide looks and spread the defense out. I also expect a shit ton of scramble cheese. Be prepared. Thank god he doesn’t play Steel.
Defensive Outlook: The Panthers took a huge hit to the defense by losing Josh Norman but they did draft like 8 CBs and I’m sure at least a few will have speed which is really all that matters in madden anyway right? While the Front 7 of the Panthers is one of the best in the league IRL; in madden it’s just mediocre. Kony Ealy and Charles Johnson are god awful slow on the edge and Star had a mediocre season and was nerfed near the end of M16 so expect the same in 17. Luckily Short is a freak of nature monster who will be usered by J5 and probably get 50 sacks a season. At LB it’s pretty damn sexy with Luke Kuechly, Shaq Thompson and Thomas Davis plus a safety turned LB in Jeremy Cash who could be the long term replacement for old man Davis. While I am not a huge fan of this defense in madden they do have plenty of pieces in place and with a few tweaks should be pretty good. Especially with J5’s user D-Line cheese.
Cap Outlook: 48.6m
Key FAs: DE Charles Johnson, DT Kawaan Short, OG Andrew Norwell, WR Stephen Hill (Yes in Madden he is a Key FA lol)
Panthers have a decent amount of cap space but you can expect Short to eat 10+m of that and Norwell won’t be cheap either. The good news is J5 can cut jesus’ cousin Greg Olsen, RB Jonathan Stewart, OLB Thomas Davis and free about 26m between the 3.
Randy Tandy has returned to his shit hole franchise to give Drew Brees another massive contract. Funny how he won a superbowl with the Eagles in 16 but never could win one with the Saints in 15. Saints return to the basement in 17 much like fake Kenny has kept them in for the duration of 16.
Offensive Outlook: Do I have to say anything nice about this team? Yeah? Fine… Brandon Cooks and Michael Thomas are a sexy 1-2 at WR. Coby Fleener is basically a slightly shittier white version of Ladarius Green at TE. Ok can I shit talk them now? Ok cool. Drew Brees is an ugly overpaid bum making 30m this season. Probably will make 50m after Randy extends him to a 300m contract. Mark Ingram is a huge bust at RB and couldn’t beat me in a 40 yard dash. The O-line is mediocre outside of Terron Armstead who can also probably beat mark Ingram in a 40 yard dash. Randy will do as Randy does and make 40 trades within 3 seasons and maybe 5 players will be left on this team that are currently there.
Defensive Outlook: The Saints have a nice little 4-3 brewing which makes me sick. Kikaha or whatever the fuck his name is and Cameron Jordan at DE with Sheldon Rankins and Nick Fairley inside is pretty sick. Stephone Anthony is a beast at LB but outside of that Randy will have some work to do as they are pretty mediocre and slow. The CB combo of PJ Williams and Delvin Breaux should be pretty solid and at safety you have Vaccarro and Vonn Bell (assuming Randy benches/trades/cuts Byrd). If Randy can get some LBs in the 40 trades he does this defense could be pretty damn nice and that makes me sick to say.
Cap Outlook: 38.9m (Before Randy extends Brees for 13 years 300m)
Key FAs: QB Drew Brees, C Max Unger
Saints can free a ton of space by cutting shitty contracts like Byrd, Keenan Lewis, CJ Spiller, and many others. They could actually be sitting around 60m if Randy does what he should.
Division Outlook:
In my personal opinion this likely will be a complete toss up every year. There is no clear cut best user as I think all 4 people are almost identical in stick skills and none of the teams are massively OP like the Vikings for example. I see them each winning the division at least once with (god I hate myself for saying this) Randy being the most consistent on a year to year basis. Savage will tank at least 1-2 seasons. J5 will have at least 1 great season that he will blow a 16-0 record just like his shitty team IRL. And ElNino will probably disappear for a month and forget he’s even in a madden league. Rumor has it he has connections with the Cartel. I am going to end this article here. The baby is calling. Pray for me.
AFC SOUTH REVEAL
Welcome to the first reveal of many. The AFC South had the most interest of all divisions and ended up having a pretty solid division across the board. In my opinion this is the 2nd best division in the league (you will have to wait and see who is the best; Stay tuned!) and should provide plenty of great matchups over the seasons. Hope you enjoy and are as excited as the commissioners are for the future of Revo in M17. It hasn’t really been discussed but I am hoping to bring back Podcasts, Power Rankings, Weekly articles, The Revo Website and many other things next madden that we started to work on this madden but Life came up and halted them. Again; Stay Tuned and enjoy the reveals!
Offensive Outlook: At QB the Texans are set with a young pocket passer in Brock Osweiler who came to the Texans in FA this year along with RB Lamar Miller. At WR the Texans are stacked with talent having DeAndre Hopkins, speedster 1st rounder Will Fuller, 2nd rounder last year Jaelen Strong, and intriguing prospect Braxton Miller as well. The O-Line is pretty much set across the board mixed with veterans like LT Duane Brown and younger prospects like OG Xavier Su’a-Filo. The one weak spot of the Texans offensive roster will be at TE where the only decent option they have is CJ Fiedorowicz; who might I add isn’t terrible just slightly slower than what you would like in your madden TE. In terms of opening day rosters, the Texans might have one of the best offensive groups in the league. Expect Miller to kill defenses regularly and Steel to go 4-wide extremely often and yolo it like no tomorrow to Hopkins with Osweilers rocket cannon arm.
Defensive Outlook: JJ Watt and Jadeveon Clowney jump off the page and would make anyone excited. Not sure what Steel plans to do on Defense regarding a 4-3 or 3-4 Scheme but they are currently set up to run a 3-4 with grandpa Vince Wilfork manning the NT spot. Going forward DT is definitely a huge need no matter what scheme is going to be run. If running a 3-4 the Texans will also need another DE opposite side of JJ Watt. At the LB level the Texans lack speed outside of Clowney but do have young talent. MLB Benardrick McKinney is a nice user LB with the expected changes to usering on defense where extremely fast LBs will be harder to control. McKinney fits into that low to mid 80s speed with high acceleration. Brian Cushing is a nice 2nd MLB in a 3-4 but he is old and slow and will need to replaced sooner rather than later. The Texans do have Reshard Cliett stashed way back and will likely be a 60ish overall but if Steel users him he could be a nice long term 2nd MLB next to McKinney. Whitney Mercilus will be a nice 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB opposite side of Clowney. So in recap the front 7 will likely need 3 upgrades depending on what scheme is going to be run. The Secondary has great speed at the safety level in Andre Hal and Lonnie Ballentine but will take time to get their other attributes up to a good enough level to not get embarrassed. At CB Kareem Jackson and Kevin Johnson are a nice 1-2 and Jonathan Joseph is a nice vet for a season but Steel will need to try and get some depth at the position. Overall the defense is not as set as the offense but it does have a lot of pieces and won’t take long to fill out.
User/Division Outlook: Steel is a good user and is being given just as good of a starting roster. He reunites with Lamar Miller from his M15 days and he gets multiple superstars in Hopkins, Watt and Clowney. I fully expect Steel to continue being a 10+ win team and return to being a division winner. I don’t expect him to stick with QB Brock Osweiler and I can see him trading for an elite TE before S1 even begins. This division is STACKED so nothing will come easy and Steel will need to take care of business weekly if he wants to come away with the AFC South crown each season.
Cap Outlook: 20.8m space in first offseason.
Key FAs: DT Vince Wilfork
Note: Clowney and Hopkins FAs in 2nd Offseason
The Texans don’t have any terrible contracts at first glance outside of QB Brock Osweiler making basically 20m per season and being a huge cap penalty if cut or traded within the first 2 seasons. Most of the other higher end contracts the Texans have are cuttable outside of JJ Watt which I think I can safely say won’t be cut/traded.
Offensive Outlook: Res was smart and took a team that fits his strengths. The Titans roll into M17 with DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry at RB with a O-Line full of high strength and run block players like LT Lewan, RG Warmack and RT Conklin. Expect a wholeeeeee lot of running from this squad. Heck, even at TE Delanie Walker is as good of a blocking TE as you can ask for. When he does choose to pass he has the most mobile QB in the game in Marcus Mariota and 2 nice weapons out wide with DGB and Justin Hunter. Other solid WRs in Harry Douglas, Kendall Wright and Rishard Matthews shape up the WR core nicely. Not much needs upgraded on the offense other than a nice receiving TE to compliment blocking TEs Delanie Walker and Anthony Fasano. Not sure there is a team that better fits what Res likes to do on offense than the Titans. Good choice Res.
Defensive Outlook: On Defense it is not as pretty as the offense. Let’s start with the good. DE/DT Jurrell Casey is a BEAST and I fully expect Res to user him most plays. Aaron Donald 2.0. MLB Avery Williamson is decent and Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo are nice veteran pass rushers. Outside of that….A whole lot of mediocre/bad. Pretty sure Res uses a 4-3 so the D-Line will likely be Orakpo – Woods – Casey – Morgan which is solid but the LB core will need 2 OLBs as they have absolutely nothing as of now. In the Secondary Da’Norris Searchy is a decent Safety and Jason McCourty at CB is solid just a little older and slower than you would like. Look for Res to immediately try and get 1-2 new CBs and at least 1 new safety in the secondary. All together Res is looking at needing probably 5-6 upgrades on the defense. He has a lot of work to do.
User/Division Outlook: Res had solid success in M16 but goes into M17 with a much tougher division and I am not sure he will be able to win the division a single time. Most likely I see him fighting it out with BTG for 3rd place on the regular. Anything is possible though especially with a new madden and different mechanics. If Res can pound the ball down people’s throats and control the clock…Maybe he can make some noise?
Cap Outlook: 41.5m space in First offseason
Key FAs: WR Kendall Wright, OG Chance Warmack, WR Justin Hunter
Note: Titans have 2 1st round Picks in 2017 Draft
Much like the Texans, the Titans don’t have really any terrible contracts however Brian Orakpo is vastly overpaid making about 9m per season. The Titans don’t have a single player on the roster that annually averages over 10m a season which is a huge help to the Titans cap space going forward.
Offensive Outlook: The good ol’ Jaguars. Congrats to BTG on getting one of (as Steph would say) Madden 17’s blessed teams. At QB Blake Bortles should be damn good in M17 after a great season last year IRL. TJ Yeldon, Chris Ivory and Denard Robinson are an awesome 1-3 RB Core. Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns is one of the best 1-2 WR options in the league even though they lack the elite speed you would like. Julius Thomas is a monster TE that should be a nice 3rd option in the passing game behind the 2 monster WRs. The O-line is decent but could use some upgrades as I only see 2 long term starters in Luke Joeckel and AJ Cann. BTG is fairly new so I don’t know what he likes to do on offense but I do know this team has plenty of talent to do well offensively no matter who is controlling them. However, the reason the Jaguars are so hyped isn’t the offense…It’s the next part.
Defensive Outlook: Talk about Blessed fam. Myles Jack and Telvin Smith as OLBs are insane for a 4-3 defense. Dante Fowler and Malik Jackson coming off the edges at DE…Jesus. At DT they have 4 nice options in Sheldon Day, Sen’Derrick Marks, Roy Miller and Tyson Alualu. BTG will need to upgrade his MLB as Paul Posluszny is slow and old and not exactly an ideal candidate to be usered but outside of that the front 7 Is absolutely insane and should be a load of fun to use. In the Secondary it’s just as good which is crazy. At CB you have Jalen Ramsey and Prince Amukamara on the outsides with Tashaun Gipson and Jonathan Cyprien as the Safeties. Not sure there is a better madden defense out there aside from maybe the Seahawks.
User/Division Outlook: Again, BTG is fairly new so it’s hard to project how he will do. I do know he likes to talk a lot and so far hasn’t really backed it up at all. I doubt he is better than both Steel and Sheffey so I am going to go ahead and predict he is fighting with Res for 3rd place annually. One thing is for sure, He can’t complain we didn’t set him up with a nice team to start.
Cap Outlook: 22.4m space in first offseason
Key FAs: CB Prince Amukamara, LT Luke Joeckel, S Jonathan Cyprien
Jaguars were huge spenders IRL this past offseason and gave Malik Jackson a god awful contract averageing about 13m a season. Other really bad contracts include DE/DT Jared Odrick making 8m a season (Completely cuttable) and LT Kelvin Beachum making on average about 8m a season. (half way cuttable, half way dead money)
Offensive Outlook: This might be the most one sided team in Madden. On Offense the Colts are a very nice squad for madden. Luck is a monster at QB and has WRs Donte Moncrief, TY Hilton and Phillip Dorsett outside. They lost TE Coby Fleener in FA IRL but still have Dwayne Allen who unfortunately is the worst of the 2 when it comes to Madden due to his lack of speed. The O-Line has some nice young talent and will grow nicely in M17 as the seasons progress. Look for Sheffey to immediately try and upgrade at RB as Frank Gore is ancient and slow as molasses and the backups are much of the same. Expect Sheffey to pass a TON S1 until he can continue to develop the O-Line and get his long-term answer at RB. Not to mention the fact his defense talent wise is atrocious so I expect him to need to score…A lot…to keep up.
Defensive Outlook: Here comes the bad part… The Defense is HORRIBLE. Like worst in Madden horrible. The only positive is they have Vontae Davis and some other decent speedy CBs. The safeties are complete ass as is the front 7. Sheffey will basically need to upgrade the whole defense since Davis isn’t exactly a young pup. I am not even going to waste my time saying names of bums that most people don’t know or care about…All that matters is they suck.
User/Division Outlook: Sheffey has stick skills so while I expect him to struggle S1 going against far superior starting rosters like the Jags and Texans I do expect him to be Steels biggest competition in this division long term. I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to trade Luck, Hilton and other offensive weapons to try and balance out his roster and get some defense.
Cap Outlook: 60.9m space in first offseason
Key FAs: QB Andrew Luck, Des Trent Cole and Robert Mathis, OLB Sio Moore
First glance the Colts have a ton of cap space but you have to realize that Andrew Luck will eat up about 1/3rd of it. TY Hilton is wayyy overpaid making about 12m per season on average. LT Anthony Castanzo is another extremely overpaid player making over 10m per season on average. Both players if cut/traded about half their cap will become a penalty while freeing the other half.

LOCKED INTO PLAYOFFS
Chicago Bears
The Bears have a shot at the #1 seed IF they beat the Bucs in Week 16. If not they will likely plummet to the #3 seed and miss out on a chance for a bye and home field advantage. So far against teams currently in the playoffs (as of the time I am writing this) the Bears are 3-2 with the wins coming against the Packers (twice) and the Rams. I always wonder if this team is for real but then you look at how mediocre/bad the NFC playoffs are looking this year and the Bears and Buccs have to be considered 1A and 1B in terms of favorites to go to the SuperBowl. Rookie QB Travis Scott looks to have the NFC Rookie of the year on lock with 5000+ yards and nearly 40 TDs with 2 games left to play. As usual RB Jeremy Langford is a dual headed monster accumulating just shy of 1,700 all-purpose yards and 14 TDs so far. As we all know Snorkel hates WR Alshon Jeffrey and to no surprise he is only 4th on the team in receptions, yards and TDs. On Defense we all know Snorkel (and Res & J5) are the D-Line user champs. Both DT David Irving (who?) and DE Wes Hagan have 11+ sacks and are causing chaos in other teams backfields. If this team can find a way to beat its biggest rival in the cheese heads (no not talking about the Packers) and secure the #1 seed I like their chances at getting to a SB. Have to play in the Wildcard round without a bye, no home field advantage throughout…RIP
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccs have a shot at sending the Bears down to the #3 and capturing the #1 spot (depending on if they win the Madden coin flip over the Eagles) with a win in week 16. Win or lose I am sure we will hear plenty from Snorkel in chat during the game. The Buccs run game has been atrocious this year (22nd) after it having been its staple in the first season when they reached the SuperBowl. The good news is that the passing game has been solid despite overpaid Justin Blackmon barely doing anything. Mike Evans is a man among boys and Mycole is the cheese god at TE. QB Jameis Winston has thrown for an absurd 73.9% completion rate on nearly 450 passes while throwing for over 4500 yards and 38 TDs. Even better than the passing game has been the Defense in Tampa Bay. Not sure if Imrran swiched to usering the D-line but his sacks numbers seem to imply he did. DE Jacquies Smith has 17 (SEVENTEEN!) sacks so far and DT AC Fitzgerald also has 10. The problem with usering the D-Line though is the turnovers are limited. In 14 games the Buccs have only picked off 22 passes in comparison to the league leading Steelers with 42. Being top 4 in points allowed, yards and pass yards will go a long way however. Can the Buccs take advantage of Vintages absence in Season 2 and return back to the Bowl?
Philadelphia Eagles
Randy at 11-3? I wanted to give Randy some major props but then I looked into how pathetic his schedule was this season and simply couldn’t. In 16 games he only plays 2 (TWO!) teams with winning records. And guess what the results were in those games? Yep. He lost. Now luckily for Randy the two other 11-3 teams face off in Week 16 which means as long as Mr. Moran doesn’t find a way to lose against the CPU Redskins or Billygoat in his final 2 he will be ensured a playoff bye and either the #1 or 2 seed depending on how the tiebreaker coin flip goes. If the Eagles are going to make any noise in a playoff run this would be the year to do it. The NFC is lackluster and Vintage the defending SuperBowl Champion has been on vacation since he won. Young QB Zack Patrick will need to limit his mistakes come playoff time and the Eagles will have to rely on the tank they have at RB De’Andre Holmes. On Defense the Eagles do a lot of things right. They get a shit ton of fumbles and interceptions and as a aints fan in real life he knows that just doing that can win you a Superbowl (plus some dirty hits with money incentive of course). If I was Randy I would hope and pray for the #1 seed so that way the divisional round would be against the Rams or one of the teams backing into the Playoffs (Packers, 49ers, Vikings, etc). If they end up only getting the #2 spot they will likely face off against whoever loses the game in week 16 between the Buccs and Bears in the divisional round.
Los Angeles Rams
From 0-4 to 9-5 the Rams have climbed themselves back into the driver’s seat to win the NFC West and get a home playoff game in the Wildcard round. None of it would have been possible if it wasn’t for Todd Gurley 2.0 aka Josh Clarke aka baby Jesus. In 14 games the man has put up 19 TDs and over 1,500 yards. Unfortunately unless he steals the award away (literally) from Bears QB Travis Scott he likely won’t be taking home the honors of NFC ROTY. While I give the Rams plenty of credit for finding such a beast in the draft after trading away Gurley; the problem is their passing game is…well..not good. Big Ben has thrown more INTs than TDs which is never a pretty sight (albeit 11 of this 27 interceptions did come in the 1st four weeks when the Rams started 0-4). Come playoff time the team will have to rely on baby Jesus Clark and hope that Big Ben is on his A-game. On Defense you know what to expect. Aaron Donald will beat whoever lines up in front of him with the push of a single button. Doesn’t matter if it’s an all-pro guard, the hulk or his own mother… He will rip right though them and anally rape your QB in under 2 seconds. In 3 seasons Aaron the prophet hasn’t had under 15 sacks. The Defense as a whole ranks in the top 6 in all 4 of the major statistical categories (Points, Yards, Pass Yards, Rush yards allowed). I expect this team to at least win their 1 home game in the wildcard round but doubt they go any farther than that. Who knows though…Only 1 loss in the last 10 games cannot be slept on.
STILL FIGHTING TO SECURE A PLAYOFF SPOT
Green Bay Packers
Savage in the playoffs in REVO? Is this real life? Here’s another one of those Randy type cases. The Packers are 0-5 this season against teams with a winning record and currently sit at just 7-7. If not for how bad the NFC wildcard race is the Packers likely would have started tanking about 3-4 weeks ago and been preparing for the draft to come. One of the dumbest things anyone has done in REVO was cut Aaron Rodgers (Who I can attest to that he is a god damn beast)…Plan to roll with Mark Sanchez…Realize he sucks…And then trade for the ginger man Andy Dalton. Meanwhile young speedy QB Brett Hundley just rots away on the bench dreaming of the day the Packers give him the Aaron Rodgers treatment and cut him. At RB the Packers have the GOAT Le’Veon Bell but yet he only has 827 yards and 8 TDs through 14 games. Eddie Lacy meanwhile is eating pound cake on the sidelines laughing his way to the bank. I will give the Packers credit for great balance in the passing game as they have 4 players between 641 yards and 774 yards receiving. None of that matters though when your offense ranks 21st or worst in every major offensive category. On Defense somehow the Packers give up the 26th most yards but only allow the 13th most points. Savage still users 6’6 Adrian Hubbard over the middle collecting 8 INTs so far on the year. The trade for DT Dontari Poe seems to have worked out as he has 11 sacks so far on the year. In terms of the playoffs (if this is one of the two teams to get in) I don’t see them doing anything. A 1 and done hi and bye type situation. See ya next year Green Bay.
San Francisco 49ers
The man who ruined Zach’s beautiful creation. Let’s be honest here folks, the only reason Zach wanted to come back again as the Seahawks is so he could beat the ever loving Jesus out of the dumbass short bus rider who destroyed his old team. This team has been ass pretty much the last half of the season and I fully expect them to get throttled again by the Rams in Week 16. Probably will lose to the CPU (again) in Week 17 to the Panthers and completely miss the playoffs. The only real positive about this team is MLB Zavier Gooden is still having good seasons with his 3rd straight year of 13+ INTs. I’m not going to waste much time discussing this team. If by some miracle they don’t fall apart the last 2 weeks and do make the playoffs…They will certainly be one and done in the Wildcard round. Bank on it.
Minnesota Vikings
What a back and forth season it’s been for the purple and yellow. From being tied near the middle of the year for the NFC North to now just holding on for dear life hoping to make the playoffs as a wildcard. If the Vikings want to do so they will have to beat at least one of either the Browns or their rivals in the Packers. Like I said above I think the 49ers collapse so just 1 win will do the job and get them at least the 6 seed. Again I don’t really want to waste much time talking about these teams because let’s be honest. In the playoffs or not…It won’t matter. They aren’t going to make any noise or do anything. Take it as a challenge Vikings, Packers and 49ers. Prove me wrong. Do what you need to do to make the playoffs and go on a run once you get into the dance.

LOCKED INTO PLAYOFFS
Baltimore Ravens
Thanks to Jedolf Julio Jones is gone for the season but luckily Mosley will be back by the time the Ravens face off against someone in the Divisional round of the playoffs after resting during the wildcard round. Since losing in Week 1 to the Chargers the Ravens haven’t lost a game and have the #1 scoring offense and defense in REVO. The interceptions are beginning to rack up (41) as the Ravens are now only 1 INT behind the league leading Steelers with 42. In all likelihood the Ravens will be facing the Steelers in the Divisional round for the 3rd matchup this season. The last time the Steelers traveled to M&T bank stadium the fans were left disappointed as the Steelers waved the white flag and conceded at halftime down 42-7. Matchup #2 was much closer as the Ravens battled back down 11 in the 4th quarter to win on a last second FG 27-24. If the Ravens want to represent the AFC in the SuperBowl for the 3rd straight season RB Raheem Mostert will need to continue to dominate both on the ground and as a receiver out of the backfield (Currently sitting at 1,752 all-purpose yards and 20 TDs). With Julio Jones out you can expect Perrigoat and Graham to get a ton of looks in the passing game.
San Diego Chargers
The only team to beat the Ravens and had it not been for a sim loss to the Bills the Chargers would be sitting as the #1 seed in the AFC Playoffs as of now due to the H2H tiebreaker. Instead they have to hope for a Ravens loss or they will have to be content with going into the playoffs with a bye and the 2 seed. Rookie QB Jeffrey Hartman has been lights out since taking over the starting role in Week 2 and is a lock to win the AFC Offensive Rookie of the Year. At RB Jeremy Hill will not be taking home his 3rd straight rushing title thanks to an injury that sidelined him for almost half the season. The good news is it opened up the door for the passing game to get going as the Chargers are on pace to have 2 1k+ WRs and a 1k+ TE. Thanks to CJ Mosley’s injury Manti Te’o will be able to celebrate AFC DPOY and LBOTY awards with his ‘girlfriend’. Going into the playoffs I fully expect the Chargers to get back to the running game and giving Hill 30+ carries a game (Or maybe even 50+ who knows). Based off how the seeding is looking its more than likely the Chargers will face the Patriots in the divisional round for the 3rd straight season. Can the Chargers keep the winning streak going against the Pats?
New England Patriots
If you love Offense you will love this stat machine. Jimmy Garoppogoat in 14 games has thrown for 5,185 yards, 50 TDs, only 11 INTs with a 70.8% completion rate…And we still have another 2 games to go. M.V.P folks. Oh and btw even his backup QB has another 102 yards and 2 TDs in relief duties. In case you are wondering he is basically on pace for a total of 6k+ passing yards and damn near 60 passing TDs. Don’t think this is all the Patriots can do either. RB Dion Lewis has 1,277 yards and 12 TDs on the ground. One of the more odd things for this offense was that the Patriots gave WR Michael Crabtree a 4 year 36m deal this past offseason and yet he currently sits at just 11 catches, 241 yards and 2 TDs. There are 6 players with more yards than him. On Defense the Patriots create turnovers and get sacks but they do get beat often on 3rd down and give up nearly 30 points a game. Going into the playoffs playing better defense has to be a priority. Even if the offense scores 48 it won’t matter if the Defense is giving up just as many. Both the teams higher than the Patriots in seeding (Ravens, Chargers) beat them earlier in the season. In the wildcard round expect the Patriots to face either the Colts, Titans or Jets depending on how the last few weeks finish up. Either way, they won’t be losing to any of those teams. Patriots vs Chargers rematch in the Divisional round?
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers defense has become the new aged Steel curtain as offenses are struggling heavily to score and move the ball against them. They are the #2 scoring defense and are #1 or close to it in almost every yardage allowed category on top of having the most interceptions. Since allowing 112 points in the first 3 games (37.3 per game) when they started 0-3 they have only allowed 184 in the last 11 (16.7 per game) and have a 10-1 record with the only loss being to the Ravens when they blew an 11 point 4th quarter lead. On offense Cam Newton has greatly improved in his decision making and has cut his INTs down by a large margin in comparison to last season. Todd Gurley is a tank at RB and WR Devin Funchess is having a very quiet yet outstanding season with 1,137 yards and 14 TDs with 2 games still to play. With a likely wildcard matchup against either the Titans or Colts you can expect this team to be at the very least getting to the divisional round where they will likely face off against the Ravens for the 3rd time this season. Can they break the 5 game win streak the Ravens have going against them? They are certainly playing good enough to do so. The question will be which Steel shows up. Regular Season steel or playoff Steel?
STILL FIGHTING TO SECURE A PLAYOFF SPOT
Indianapolis Colts
After a 6-0 start the Colts are now in a battle just to make the playoffs having gone 4-4 since. QB Andrew Luck has thrown a god awful 32 interceptions in 14 games and the run game has been mediocre at best. Despite having 4 goon pass catchers in Dorsett, Fleener, Conley and Moncrief not 1 as of right now has 1k+ yards (albeit all 4 are within striking distance). Now let’s talk about the really…really…big problem. The Colts are 32nd in yards allowed. Dead last. They give up a whopping 441.9 per game. The good news is they play Jedolf this week which will get them to 11 wins before they have to get their terrible defense demolished in Week 17 by the juggernaut offense in New England. The reason why 11 wins is so important is that I think 1 team out of these 3 does not reach that mark meaning the other 2 get locked in without having to worry about a 3 way madden tiebreaker. Going back to Bad news, the Colts will likely face the Steelers in the Wildcard round and once again get mollywhopped just like this week when they lost to them 45-20.
New York Jets
Could we have the return of Halpin to the playoffs?!?! Currently sitting at 9-5 with the final 2 games being against the 3-11 Texans and the 6-8 Dolphins I think it just might happen with an 11-5 record on the season. Statistically speaking there is not a single thing exciting about this team. They rank 20th or worse in Offensive points, Total yards, pass yards and rushing yards per game. (Although that is before a 300 yard rushing performance against Ozzy that will probably skyrocket them). On defense they rank in the top 16 in all the same categories and even in the 10 in 3 of them. Problem is they don’t get very many sacks or turnovers which could be a problem come playoff time. Assuming this team sneaks in as the #6 seed they would likely face their division rival Patriots in the Wildcard round a team that in 3 seasons they have only beat once (1-5).
Tennessee Titans
While this team may be currently 10-4 and sitting in the #4 spot, I see this being the team that gets eliminated out of the 3. Out of their 14 games played so far 8 have been decided by 1 score or less. Some of the games that were close were against teams that have god awful records. 4-9 Bengals (lost), 3-11 Texans (Twice), 6-8 Broncos, 6-8 Jaguars and the 2-12 Cardinals. They got blown out the water by the flipper fish 53-35. And an even bigger reason why I think they miss the playoffs? Their final 2 games come against the Ravens and Steelers. Ouch. That means the Titans will likely finish 10-6 and as you can see above I have both the Colts and Jets finishing with better records than that. It was a good effort this season Tennessee but better luck next year. Priority #1 this offseason should be to generate a run game some way somehow. As it currently stands the leading rusher on the Titans Tre Mason has just 709 yards and as a team they only average 80 yards a game (27th in the league).
