The Dolphins lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and fall to 0-3 despite a gutty effort by Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill was 31-48 for 445 yards and 4 Touchdowns. The Chiefs defense forced five turnovers in the game, recovering three fumbles and picking off two Tannehill passes. The Dolphins defense continues to be opportunistic to help the offense. Louis Delmas picked off Alex Smith late in the fourth quarter and returned it for a touchdown to cut the deficit to one score. That is the fourth pick six of the year for the defense. Dolphins coach Joe Philbin feels confident that his team can turn things around, " the last two games have been decided by a touchdown or less. We feel like we could easily be 2-1 right now, we just have to find a way to win... And that starts with protecting the football". When asked if any changes on the line would be made to help protect Tannehill, Philbin declined, " No, we have a young group up front. It's tough when you're down 21 points starting the second half, it makes your team very one dimensional. They just need reps and they'll grow". The Dolphins will look to rebound against a struggling Raiders team who has yet to win this season as well.
