This morning the Texans played the Jaguars in Texas. Texans started out slow again this week and couldnt get anything going until 2nd half when RB Lamar Miller broke a 80 yard run but that was all we could muster against the Jags. "Texans OLine played like there real life counter parts and we couldnt get the passing game going this week." QB Watson commented after the game. Next game vs the 2-0 Chargers

Friendly Reminder To All Coaches of COLD Football League.

SCHEDULING GAMES 

When scheduling your games with your opponent. Both owners need to contact one another within the first 24 hours of advance. If no contact is made from either owner by the time of advance then the game will be a Fair Sim. Be sure to contact a commissioner asap if you havent heard from your opponent. 

Don't always depend on Tagging and Dm's. For a quicker response we suggest texting them if # is provided by the owner. 

DISCONNECTION RULE

Any time a disconnect happens, the game need to be reset back to the disconnect conditions. If the game disconnects more than once then notify the commissioner and play without stream. If both owners cant agree on disconnect conditions than the commissioner will decide how to handle the situation.

In closing I want to take a minute to thank the other commissioners for helping out in my absense and while I deal with issues offline. Mybad, if I seem on the edge or short with you guys at times. Hopefully things will be back to normal here soon!

Tonight we'll start the preseason 1-4 in this order. Each Preseason week is advanced every 10 minutes!

• Preseason week 1 adv. @ 8:00p
• Preseason week 2 adv. @ 8:10p

Everyone must make cuts down to 53 Must have 53 plyers on roster at all times! Be sure to set your Practice squad in Ps week 4. We can signed 1 FA in preseason only! Then after Preseason is done signing Free Agents will be no limit.

New Rule added this season.

3rd Play Action rule - We all love to use PA but last season got out of hand so, anything over 3rd and 10 will be a rule violation.

We had discussion about adding a QB roll out rule but I'm going to hold off and see how thing go until week 3. If we've any complaints, Then the rule will be added asap! 

Reminder to everyone about drafted players. You can change their first and last name. Please do not use any names that are former NFL players, dead players or famous people. (actors, comedians, presidents, cartoon characters, etc.) Dm Commissioner Lee the name you want to use and I'll approve it or deny it.

This year if any of our commisioners see you break a rule while broadcasting we'll penalize you on the spot! (Penalty will be any where from a player being benched for a quarter or two, to ejected from the entire game.)

Be sure when scheduling games to let your opponent know your schedule as well. We had way too many games simmed last year and I personally cant stand simming games or giving force wins to anybody.

Advance time will still be 72 hours, 7 minute quarters, All-Pro. Only thing we will look into changing is the game speed. Look for a poll later tonight on what you like the speed of the game to be set at.

First thing, congrats to the guys who made the playoffs! 

To the rest of the league thanks for playing in year one of COLDFL. Once the Super Bowl is done with. I'll be taking some time off from the league. I dont know how much time but I need time to get things in order offline. My situation need to be attended to asap!

I'll be talking with the rest of the Commishes to see whats our next move for season 2.

Last night before Broncos go on the road to Philly "City of Brotherly Love" we had a seat down with the Head Coach of the Denver Broncos.

KYASS Reporter: How you feel about being the last undefeated team in the league??

Broncos HC: Being the last undefeated team is Alot of pressure because you got guys out here trying their best to give me my first lose but it also makes me wanna play harder to get to 16-0

KYASS Reporter    Do you believe this team can go 16-0?? If we put a poll up right now how many coaches would pick you going 16-0 this season?

Broncos HC:I do believe this team can go 16-0, I got every area filled with great players. I hope at least 20 users would vote yes for me to go 16-0.

KYASS Reporter Whos been your toughest opponent this season and why?

Broncos HC: My toughest opponent was Raiders. He gave me a challenge with his play calling, passing game was on point. He had me stressed out the whole game. So far he’s the only guy I think can give me my first lost but if he does I’m not gonna go out easy.

KYASS Reporter:? Is there any coach in the league you enjoy playing the most against?? If yes then tell us the reason why?

Broncos HC:  Definitely the rams. He’s my nemesis and I’m his. He’s always putting up numbers against me. It’s never the same thing with me and him. He put me out the playoffs a few time too. Always a high scoring game with us. Always a fun game between us.

KYASS Reporter How in the world did the Denver Broncos manage to get a starting Pro bowl and future hall of fame Qb Phillip Rivers?

Broncos HC: Phillip Rivers is a great guy for me. I didn’t think I could get him but the chargers wanted to go a different way with a younger QB. Gonna be a great year with him.

KYASS Reporter If you make it back to the COLD Bowl this year, who would you like to face in the NFC and why?

Broncos HC?:If I make it to the COLD Bowl then it’s definitely Rams. I want something ik that will be hard and be a great challenge for me and i know he will give me all that plus more so If I can beat him in the biggest game of the year then I deserve the win. I would have bragging rights all year too so he will know that.  

KYASS Reporter Last week you played K.C. That was a low scoring game. What happen vs K.C?

Broncos HC: KC was a hard game for me. Great player I can tell. I was making a lot of mistakes on both side of the ball. I was reading some plays wrong. Everyone has their bad games and I had 2 in the last 2 weeks but I bounce back to show everyone why this team is undefeated so far.

KYASS Reporter This week in WK 9 you go on the road to Philly, "City of brotherly Love" The Eagles have won their last 2 ball games scoring over 30 points in both. How do you plan on stoping QB Carson Wentz and the Eagles?

Broncos HC: I know the Eagles gonna be a hard game but Carson Wentz haven’t played against NoFlyZone or Von Miller. My defense isn’t one to take lightly. Carson gonna see Miller in his face all game. My defense gonna try to hold them under 14 points all game. Gonna be a fun game against him and I wish him the best.

KYASS Special Guest Commissioner Seals What's up Coach, One last question. What is your biggest accomplishment so far in league?

Broncos HC: My biggest accomplishment well that’s a hard one. I would have to say being undefeated because I played some great users so far and some were very hard. I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.

Whats up COLD!

Week 7 advance is tonight @ 10p est Any games not set up will be simmed. The Cardinals are now a CPU team. As of right now weve 3 teams open in league.  Earlier today we left a recruiting topic in the DL forum and we still have our reddit post up for recruiting coaches.

A few things have been brought to my attention concerning injuries and fumbles during the game. If we continue to have problems we can adjust if need be.

The other minor issue is we all need to do a better job at scheduing games. Too many coaches are waiting until the last 12 hours to schedule. We understand everyone has other obligations offline to attend. All I'm saying it only takes a few seconds to Dm your opponent and reach out to him to give him your availability.

Reminder to place your live stream into chat when you play, I've been guilty of this myself. If you dont know how then contact a commissioner and we can do it for you. 

Other than that guys, We're moving on to week 8 tonight. This weekend will be another Commissioner's Corner discussing top teams in the league and a one on one interview with the undeafeated Head Coach of the Broncos.

WEEK 4 COMMISSIONER'S CORNER

32.		The Saints are 5th in passing yard and 7th in total yards on offense coming into week 4. To see this team at 0-4 is in insane knowing the Owner's mindset of the team i'm looking for these guys to make a quick turn around!
31		No Owner
30.		The Browns are 0-4 with the #1 ranked Run Defense. Impact rookie making noise David Njoku Starting a rookie QB is never easy. Take one game at a time!
29.		The Redskins 0-3 they play 1-2 K.C Chiefs this week. I see Terrelle Pryor Sr. is leading the team on the offensive side of the ball but, where the Redskins are tough is on the Defensive side. There #1 in Total Defense yards and #2 defense in passing yards. Lets get it together Redskins the season isn't over yet!
28.		So far we've had 3 owners to take over the Jets this year. I guess 3rd times the charm because the J.E.T.S just defeated the 3-0 Jaguars tonight. 1-3 on the season. Don't let this N.Y Jets team fool you guys! They have weapons on offense starting with TE Ladarius Green  and WR Jermaine Kearse and the formers Bears RB Matt Forte I predict this team will give the Dolphins a run for there money.
27.		Don't sleep on these guys! The LOB are just waking up! The offense led by TE Jimmy Graham and QB Russell Wilson will be competing for a playoff spot! This team will be in the playoffs!
26.		The Bucs are 2-2 this season. They just beat up on the Giants 34-18. Good job on welcoming the new Giants owner lol. Bucs are #4th with 105.5 yard rushing on offense. The next 3 games will test the Bucs to see are they really ready to be a playoff team and make it to the COLD Bowl this season.
25.		Them Eagles... are 1-2. They have a game tonight vs the Chargers. Lets see how the #4 defense in rushing yards fair against the Chargers running attack! Last week loss vs the N.Y Giants is all in the past now! Time to put together a game plan and finish strong!
24.		The Chiefs have been pretty quiet this season on offense. I believe this teams heart and soul is on the defensive side of the ball. #2 in total yards and #1 in passing yards. QB Alex Smith is starting to look over his shoulders You can already hear some of the fans in Kansas city chant we want  Patrick Mahomes II  Let see how this next game ends.
23.		The Cards 2-2. I had the honor of playing these guys last week. The cowboys jumped on them quick but this Cardinals team is special. They never gave up! They came right back and gave my Cowboys a run for their money! With the #6 offense in total yards. I believe these guys will be in the playoffs this season. Any bets?? LOL
22.		The Panthers are 1-2 head to play the 2-1 Patriots. This season the Panters are relying on both there rookie RB Christian McCaffrey and rookie WR Curtis Samuel to be play makers for this Carolina offense! I don't think they will disappoint one bit. Head Coach Britt will have his boys ready( In the famous words of WWE manager Teddy Long, BELIEVE THAT!)
21.		The ravens have been battling odds every since they've joined. With a 1-3 start the Owner is questioning rather not the West Coast offense is really getting the job done this season. Sources say Head Coach of the Ravens after meeting with the owner. Was on K.Y.A.S.S (Kick Ya Ass Sports Show) was heard saying. "Check the Stats, You and you tell Me"  Ravens are #4 in Total yards and #3 in passing yards.
20.		After a bad loss to the Steelers. The Bears went to Cheeseville and gave the packers there first loss of the season. 2-2 I believe the NFC North is wide open. Chi Town lets continue to work hard and play Bear Ball.
19.		The chargers 1-2 playing the Eagles tonight. They need this win to keep up with the Broncos or have any chance on winning the AFC west title.
18.		The Texans are having a rough start at 1-2 The Defense seem to me has been carrying this ball club.This week they take on the 2-1 Titans. No easy match up here. Bring your A game Texans you'll need it!
17.		The 2-2 Raiders along with BEASTMODE Marshawn Lynch came up short this week vs Broncos in one hell of a game. Raiders owner isn't too worried. The season is far from being over. Next week you'll see a better team on the field when we face the Ravens. Once RB Marshawn Lynch  is loose I don't think any one can stop these guys!
16.		Mr. I get it done or can I say 2 sim games 2 wins in 2 weeks. The Pats go up against the Panthers. I cant say much about this team because they haven't really shown us anything. The League Commissioner has his finger on the red button!

14.		We've a new Colts owner just joined us. Glad to see you comeback for another season. In the next 4 games lets see where this team fit in.
13.		The 2-1 Titans have been playing some damn good football here lately. The game vs Texans is scheduled to kickoff Sunday. My prediction is they will move to 3-1 after this day is over. Will they make the playoffs, Hell yeah! I believe they will. This team is well rounded and have many Superstars on the team who can help lead them to a playoff birth.
12.		The quiet assassin. No one hears from this guy in the chat room.The owner of the Miami Dolphins does his talking on the field. Look for this team to continue to get better and I will say this. These guys will be in the playoffs and I expect the Dolphins to give the Steelers and the Broncos trouble
11.		We had to find a new owner for this team. I don't know what to expect from the new owner. Hopefully we have a gem that will be around for a long time.
10.		The Viking 3-1. I honestly don't know who the starting QB is. Both QB have started but I don't see this being a problem. The real test wont come until week 11 vs Rams
9.		The Niners are 2-2. Top 10 ranked team They don't have a true starting QB. I honestly didn't think this team would win vs the Seahawks but he did. The thing I like about the niners is this Coach is keeping his team in games with a passing attack which no one thought they could do. I'll have to come back 4 weeks from now and give a better assessment of these guys.
8.		The Falcons are my pick to win the division. Jeff will put up points and have the majority of us trying to play catch up! Look for this team to be ranked top 5 in the next 4 weeks.
7.		I'm not shocked to hell and back over the Bengals being 2-2. It's the trade they pulled off with the Steelers. WHAT IN THE FLYING PURPLE CAT SHIT HELL was our Bengals owner thinking lol? We all thought WR John Ross was going to be a Bengal for years to come! This is one of the COLDEST trades in my entire online gaming history! The Flash aka John Ross got on the Jet and took his happy ass to the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can read more in transactions.
6.		The Cowboys 2-2 on the season. I believe I underestimated the Rams last game. I had a clear game plan on how to stop the Rams but shit hit the fan. After I couldnt get a running attack going I tried to be aggressive in the air but, all that got us was 3 ints Looking to redeem ourselves when we welcome in the G.B Packers
5.		The 4-0 are ballin! If you asked Big Ben were not slowing down for anyone! The #1 on defense in points allowed. Steelers are bulldozing their way to a great season. Not to mention the world next speedster the Steelers just traded for. Damn Damn.. Dayummmmmmm!!
4.		We brought in a new guy to fill the Packers ownership role. We don't know much right now but we'll see in the next 4 weeks
3.		4-0 Broncos are the big thing happening in the AFC at the moment. 4th in total points on offense, 2nd in total yards, and 2nd in passing yards. The Broncos are trying to run away with the title in the AFC west. Bringing over QB Phillip Rivers from the Chargers the Broncos seem to be preparing not for the playoffs but for the BIG SHOW in this years 2017 COLD BOWL
2.		Rookie QB Joshua Dobbs and the Jaguars are 3-1 Some critics are scratching their heads because no one knows how this team is doing it. The Head Coach isn't worried what they nay Sayers are saying about his team. "We show up and show the world we belong on any field with the best" K.Y.A.S.S reports The Jags came up short vs the Jets tonight but will be back at practice tomorrow. I know Coach Scrymel. He will have his guys ready for next weeks game vs the powerful 4-0 Steelers.
1.		4-0 Rams. They just held the Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliot to 21 yards friday night. In the last 4 games the Rams are holding teams under 19 points a game Next week they will go up against the LOB in Seattle. The Rams and RB Todd Gurley II will have to continue putting pressure on the NFC and the rest of the league to remain on top of the hill.
