The Rams win Week 1. The Chargers team come in with the old Steelers owner now controlling the team so we had no idea what to expect. The first drive looked terrible on offense for the Rams as the Chargers pass rush was getting to Jared Godd early and often which ended with a fumble recovered by the Chargers. On the Chargers first possession , they were able to drive into the red zone and on a well timed blitz was able to make Melvin Gordon fumble the ball and recover it. The Rams then were able to execute a smart game plan to aleviate the intense pass rush of the Chargers. and inked out a win.

The player of the game as usual was Aaron Donald with 3.5 sacks. Rooke Gross Matos added a  half sack. Kenneth Murray started this game but we are hoping as the season goes on he will become more of a factor.

With the  26th pick in the draft the Los Angeles Rams select Linebacker Kenneth Murray from Oklahoma. The Rams could not believe a player of his caliber slipped all the way to 26. The Rams are expecting Murray to be a franchise defensive piece for many years to come. Murray absolutely was the pick as his versatility will be great for the Rams. his speed is only 85 we thought that may be a little bit higher but to get this difference maker at the bottom of the 1st round was great value.

Upon meeting with the team for the first time it was decided it would be best for Murray to go against NFL rules and wear his old college number of 9 . The Rams are hoping that fuels Murray to be a top of the line piece for many years to come.

With the 6th pick in the 2022 Draft the Los Angeles Rams select Yetur Gross Matos Defensive End from Penn State. It was known around the league that the Rams were looking for an athletic defensive end and versatile difference maker. Sources say the choice came down to Gross Matos and Epenesa and the Rams went with the speed guy over the power guy because of having Aaron Donald and Aaron Lynch on the roster and a young DT in Desean Murphy who already has 93 blockshed. Atop tier pass rusher was needed with this pick and the Rams got their man.

If Henry Ruggs the speedster out of Alabama was available, it is widely believe that Ruggs may have been the pick but we will never know for sure.

With the Rams having the 6th pick in the draft and the 13th pick , the Rams was looking to make a big move to help out this football team get back into the playoffs and it came in the big way. In a draft day trade the Rams and the Falcons agreed to a deal. The deal saw the Rams send the 13th pick in the first round and a 4th and a 5th round pick to the Falcons and the Falcons sent the 26th overall pick and Superstar Tight End OJ Howard.

The Rams initially did not want to do the deal as there were impact players available at the 13th pick but with the opportunity to make a significant upgrade at the tight end position and still stay in the first round it became a no brainer.

The Rams General Manager has shown he can wheel and deal and sources say Todd Gurley is now otb

The Rams are armed with the 6th pick in the draft as well as the 13th pick in the draft and are sure the impact players that they are targeting will be available. The Rams have needs everywhere for sure but they definitely need a WR , a stud DE or OLB and in this league and especially this division can never use too many corners. IF there was a makes total sense tight end available sources say that they would consider him as well. With the draft class being the IRL draft class, t his promises to be a great draft for everyone involved. but one thing for sure the Rams will target Alabama players and LSU players so we will see how the draft shakes.  We are not sure if we can meet the new draft time of 2 pm central but we will set our draft board and live with the results for sure.

In last years draft the Rams took CB Jamal Cooper and S Terrence Palmer in the first round. Upon drafting with his attriubtes , the Rams decided very quikcly to move him to CB and these two would make a formidable 1-2 punch and sure enough they played well. Palmer was outstanding. Cooper gave up some big plays in one on one situations but the Rams are happy with their secondary is headed. The Rams have managed to draft ok in the past and are hoping to also knock it out of the park for this upcoming draft as well. The Rams are very top heavy and lack depth and are hoping to improve that situation vastly.

The Rams again have another dreadful and losing season and again will draft top 10. What will it take for the Rams to become a playoff team. Clearly it is not the players but it is the coach and the owner. Agape acts like Jerry Jones, as he tells the coach how to coach and who to play and it has gotten this team no where. one thing is for certain agape is nothing likw the puppet Jason Garrett. He dont clap during games. When something good happens and when something bad happens he just shrugs. But this year Agape has said that he will make a concentrated effort to make the playoffs and to be a tough out as well.   The world knows Agape can coach but when does that translate to wins on the field.  The world will be watching

The Los Angeles Rams  walked in to the matchup wit h the Jaguars with a record 1-2 and hoping to get back to .500. It was no secret that the Rams were reeling and were looking to find a way to get back in the win column. The opposing coach was a familiar foe as when the Rams were the Packers coach and the Jags coach was the VIkings coach so we know what the Jags would want to do .  We knew going into the game the the opponent would want to get his fastest guys on some post routes and run some screens with his rbs. Surprisingly we expected to see a HB Swing pass but it did not come.  This game went the Jags all the way until the Rams chaged their defense and went to primarily man coverage with this new look secondary and in the second half it made a world of defense. The Rams secondary would make it tough on the Jags to move the ball consistently but utlimately it would bt the Jags Josh Allen changing the game with sacking Jared Goff repeatedly on the pinch blitz. The Rams coach said he knew it was coming but couldnt not execute well enough to counteract it.  The Jags defense is legit no doubt. 

The Rams have a early bye week next week so hopefully we can find a way to turn this season around .

The Rams saw an old rival in the Chicago Bears.The Rams coach knew it would be a good game  and low scoring but also knew how formidable the defense of the Bears is. In this game the Bears defense did not disappoint at all. As khalil Mack went for 4 sacks. The Rams coach said in the post game press conference that they decided to double team Mack and it still did not work. This game was ugly and it stayed ugly. The Rams defense came to play as well though the score doesnt look like it. Clearly the Rams have a long way to go in order to be a respectable team in the division, in the conference, and ultimately in the league. The Bears pull away late and the Rams could do nothing offensively. Hopefully next week bodes a little better for this team with the a matchup with another old rival in the JAGS up next.

The Rams choked the game away against the Cardinals. They were 2 scores with about 2 and a half minutes left and faced a fourth down and decided instead of punting , they were going to be aggressive and try to ice the game. the Rams offensive coordinator called a great play with a great route combination and Goff threw it to a wide open  Gurley on a angle route out of the backfield. He had enough yardage for the first down , he caught the ball , then was hit and dropped it. Gurley is usually known as a clutch player but he sucked and choked on that play. On the series before the Goff made a dumb decision and threw a pick six which brought the game within one score. This loss is solely on the RAms and not t he Cardinals. It was a great game for sure. The Rams were able to deal with all the speed at WR for the Cardinals. They boast a receiving corps thats includes  Andt Isabella , Christian kirk , Sammy Watkins , Phillip dorsett. The Rams new look secondary held their own.  We will see the Cardinals again.

The first game of the season for the sort of new look Rams, with notable players no longer on the team. No longer wit the team. Gerald Everett  Brian Allen Cooper Kupp Michael Brockers Zach Brown... so this team definitely looks different. The Rams got the victory 13-3 with apparently the defense playing extremely well. The Rams are not sure if the Lions user will remain in the league or not. I guess even if it is a sim win , The Rams starting the season at 1-0 is still a good thing. Lets hope the Rams can finally make the playoffs this year.

In the NFl Draft with the Rams already drafting  Defensive Back Jamal Cooper at number 12, the Rams continued the defensive trend and drafted Safety Terrence Palmer, though it was known his zone coverage rating was low in which it came in at 67 but instantly upon discussions with Palmer , it was decided it was best to move him to corner back and be a 1 -2 punch with fellow first rounder Cooper. He has the length that the Rams love at corner standing at 6'2'' and 91 speed  95 accel and 91 agility he will soon be a great playmaker.

Woth the 12th pick in the NFL Draft the Rams select Defensive Back Jamal Cooper. He is a bit short at only 5'9" but his speed jumps off the pages. He is 95 speed  91 Accel and 87 Agility so he can match up with the fast receivers in the division particularly the Cardinals. It is no secret the Rams drafted and are building a defense that can match up with the speed of the CArdinals and the Seahawks in the division. And not to mention the formidability of the 49ers. The Rams hope that this selection will help improve a defense that lacked speed and can hold its own in the passing games.

In a matchup that both coaches were looking forward to , this week would see the Rams take on the Bears. These opponents were very familiar to each other as Agape was the coach of the packers in which Crazie was still the coach of the Bears. As ususal these games come down to a defensive struggle and who's offense can make one more play than the other. In this game , with the scored tied 10-10 in the 4th, jared Goff inexplicably throws a pick 6 which gives the bears a 7 point lead. However the Rams would get a chance to tie the game up and send it to over time with about 3 minutes left. The Rams methodically drove the ball down the field. and inched in the redzone getting on the goal line. it came down to 4th and goal at the one . With the Bears defesne stuffing the run all day we knew running the ball would not be feasible. Jared Goff threw a touchdown to everett with about 30 seconds left. The bears got the ball and somehow threw a long bomb touch down to 5'9" Taylor Gabriel in a jump ball situation with 2 safeties and corner suffocating him and won the game. It was a great game for sure but a shitty finish. I would play Crazie every game if I could. A definite enjoyable game.
