As we approach 2018, it’s time for everyone to get to know the Bucs a little better. The turnover in the past 4 season has been to the benefit, and this roster should finally come together. This team has shown that it is close. Less than one score losses to multiple playoff, and even super bowl teams, this team has the make-up. Can the Bucs put it all together? Below are some ratings from a game called Madden on console, ages, and if drafted by the GM Oz, the Round/Pick will be given after the comment!
OFFENSE
QB – Kenny McGhee (82 – 24 y/o) – Rookie QB who has 7 TDs to 3 INT and 700+ yards in the preseason…Glennon has been unseated. Glennon when on has looked elite, but when off, has looked e-Leaf.
RT – Anthony Collins (85 – 32y/o) – Solid Vet Presence on the Right Side.
RG – Blair Jernigan (89 – 26 y/o) – Up and comer solidifies the Bucs right side. (Oz – 2/22 pick)
C – John Sullivan (88 – 33y/o) – Vet presence in the middle, it all starts with him. (FA)
LG – Erik Ashley (79 – 21 y/o) – as a 20 year old rookie, stepped in the left side. Expected to Develop this year. (Oz – 2/24)
LT – Everett Long (85 – 21 y/o) – As a 20 year old rookie, stepped in on Glennon’s blind side. Is a fast developer and will develop this year. (Oz – 1/12)
FB – Aaron Landry (77 – 23 y/o) – as a rookie, stepped in and did more than his job to provide Demps his best year yet. (Oz – FA Rookie)
RB – Jeff Demps (77 – 28 y/o) – Has developed over the years, and in this season, he will show he is a top 5 RB in the NFL
WR – Mike Evans (89 – 25y/o) – Steady Evans. Last year lead team in receptions. Not the downfield threat, but catches all.
WR – Rashon Kelly (88 – 25 y/o) – What can you say. Just flys past anyone. And now this year is even faster (Oz – 1/5)
WR – Erik Faulk (72 – 23 y/o) – The unknown to the league. 6’6”. After 4 TDs on 9 catches in his rookie year, stepped into slot with 40 catches and 7 tds (Oz – 3/5)
TE – Jarred Black (91 – 24y/o) – Continuing the trend of tall under 25 receivers, Black has dropped off since his rookie year, but look at the development of receivers. (Oz – 1/22)
DEFENSE
LE – Brandon Boswell (88 – 23 y/o) – polished player from the get go, improved each season. (Oz – 1/8)
DT – Gerald McCoy (99 – 30y/o) – Beast that clogs up the middle. Will get a few sacks, stuffs run up middle.
DT – Akiem Hicks (89 – 28 y/o) – Former young up and coming RE traded for this DT, to help McCoy and create a no run zone in middle.
RE – Michael Johnson (90 – 31y/o) – Veteran D-Line anchor on the right side. Plays under the radar with Boswell and McCoy making noise.
LOLB – Mario Ellis (87 – 25 y/o) – Was always told he was too slow. Broke out last year, and will continue this year, a star developing (Oz – 2/8)
MLB – Donald Butler (90 – 29y/o) – Entering first season with Bucs. Anchored the middle in sunny SD, now sunny TB.
ROLB – Auntrell Gardener (83 – 22 y/o) – A perfect scheme fit for Bucs. Will compete with Judah Lee for time. (Oz – 1/17)
CB – Alerraun Verner (93 – 29 y/o) – 2nd in the NFL in interceptions, tied with Banks. Keeps improving each year.
CB – Johnathan Banks (87 – 28 y/o) – 2nd in the NFL in interceptions, tied with Verner. Keeps improving each year.
FS – Mark Barron (99 – 28 y/o) – Moves to FS with Goldson, now a backup aging. Wreaks havoc on anyone coming by.
SS – Justen Tull (87 – 25 y/o) – Started ½ a year as a rookie, supplanting Goldson. Has Barron to learn from. (Oz – 2/12)
Oz – As a coach, GM, and Commish, you wear many different hats. Which hat is your favorite and why?
Ace - “Heh, no”
Oz - As a GM/coach you went with Blount over Scott at QB. How hard was that decision since you always envisioned him being Super Bowl MVP?
Ace - “Yeah”
Oz - For 2016, how tough was has the AFC west been? Does it better you to be in a premier division?
Ace - “Next Question”
Oz - Any truth to the rumor Scott was with Blount’s girl, and that’s why he was traded?
Ace - "See there is some truth to that but the real reason is he was traded to send a message that this team is not going to value past glories over future success. Scott has a history of winning but in his short time of leading this team it didn’t lead to the sunshine we have seen this season with Blount at the helm"
Oz - It seemed your team fell asleep as KC escaped with the W. How do you plan on kicking your team back in gear?
Ace - "The team was in induced into a deep slumber due to the boring amount of broken rushing by the chiefs one man show, Jamal Charles. Their second string RB must feel like a backup QB, never seeing the field. As for the next game we just have to handle our own business and take care of the football and we hope to compete. We’re not looking past any records, as it wasn’t long ago we were a 3 win team in last place."
Oz - Gas or Charcoal?
Ace "Wood"
Oz - Any final comments? Us here at Playboy really appreciate the time.
Ace - "I just want to say that we enjoy bringing the sim experience to like-minded gamers seeking a fun and humorous environment where their madden stick skills can thrive. We look forward to many season to come and we are always looking to approve our experience. It has been an honor and a privilege to be a part of XM15."
1. NY Giants – The new vintage, the old standard. However you use the Gmen’s catch phrase, they are once again the standard in the NFC. Would you have guessed Pryor would be the franchise QB of the league by this time? You lie. Oh, and no Gamesta…Super Bowl?
2. Mexico City Diablos – In the first year of the relocation, they have yet to dissapoint. With rookie QB dominating (ROY? Slide over Archie, Colby in the house!), will the Diablos prove me right and beat the Panthers twice, Giants and Chargers coming up to stay with the elite?
3. NE Patriots – speaking of elite, Tom Brady and the Patriots continue to do their thing. Brady has put up the most yards, a unheard of TD/INT ratio, and a rookie WR who no one saw coming. Now can they get their heads on straight after Brady’s elongated suspension? Well as I’m doing this, their owner/coach quit. Where will they go…
4. Minnesota Vikings – Teddy or Sam, doesn’t matter. This offense still produces with either. Oh, and Lamar Miller likes to run all over you. Cordarrelle Patterson’s production has fallen off. 10 TD’s in first 4 games….0 in last 4. Will he re-appear?
5. San Francisco 49ers – at 6-2, they are looking strong. But when you look closer, what is going on? Dominate the Diablos with 41 points, but almost lose to the Bucs when the Bucs beat themselves late. Feed McCoy is all I gotta say.
6. Cleveland Browns – Johnny Football. $$. Ben Tate. $$. Josh Gordon. $$. Jordon Cameron. $$. Week 13, 16, 17 are potential GOW vs Giants, Bengals and Raiders. Win 2 of them, and the potential rematch vs. Pats in playoffs can be game of the year.
7. Oakland Raiders – 4-4 and at 7? It’s actually Gamesta with a different gamertag. 200-300 yards rushing a game? No worries. Oakland is back, and I would say the best team in the AFC right now…
8. Seattle Minors, I mean Seahwaks. Dirone Minor is a monster. Beast. If anyone can limit him, the average passing game will have to step up. Limiting the picks this year, Wilson hasn’t had to do much. But can he put the team on his back if needed?
9. Indianapolis Colts – A solid overall team, that has a couple good wins over good teams. But those 2 losses you do a double take. Either the passing game or running game becomes elite, you will need to watch out!
10. San Diego Chargers – behind the Colts due to the lost vs them, the Superchargers are set and ready to compete with the best. Trading Matt Scott as the rookie Blount is doing it in the air and with his legs, you can bet they will compete with the Raiders and Pats if given the chance. Next up, defending I. Scott….
11. Cincinnatti Bengals – a rookie QB who is leading the 8th most potent offense? Tough to drop to 11, but its happening. A couple good games I can see the Bengals at 6. Vontaze Burfict stating a case for defenisve player of the year…
12. Brooklyn Barons – 6-2 record looks nice, but they have only one win against a team with a winning record. Are they real? Or are they lucky to see a friendly schedule…
13. Washington Redskins – 4-0. Lose to the lowly Bucs, and now are 5-3. Bucs seem to own them, but hopefully that doesn’t continue to bother them. They should be able to compete with the Giants, but need to show it quick.
14. Philadelphia Eagles – Next 3 games against solid teams. What will they be able to do? Continue to compete, or is this the beginning of the end… Foles who is a very good distributor will be able to solidfy the Eagles season coming up…good or bad.
15. KC Chiefs – only 3 tough games remain, can they coast their way into the playoffs on the back of Chaarles?
16. Carolina Panthers – This team can easily be a top 10 team. 16 seems low for a solid 5-3 team, however, they need to prove they can belong. Hill with 10 of Newtons 16 TDs, they are too one sided to be a top 10 team. Murray one of the elite backs gives them a run game. They will be tough to beat…
17. Detroit Lions – Boyd and Johnson pack a mighty 1-2 WR punch. Elliot is a monster in the backfield. Will the defense show up and carry them into the playoffs is the only remaining question?
18. Houston Texans – Ibraheim Scott is following up his rookie campaign with another solid year. But Stephens might be looking his way too much with all those picks. Scott is the new trend on twitter, give him a follow @monsterscott83
19. St. Louis Rams – Zac Stacy is a solid RB, rumors he was on the block. Not so sure now. But a solid all around game is needed for the Rams to compete. They show up and dissappear too much.
20. Jacksonville Jags – a solid team, who again, just can’t put together a season. Are they tanking? Are they really struggling?
21. Tampa Bay Bucs – The class of the 1-2 win teams. Well. Maybe not their defense. Need some rushing yards, visit them? New playbook will be given a whirl vs the Gunners coming up in a few days, as Lovie will try something new. R. Kelly was the weapon the offnese needed though…
22. Pittsburgh Steelers – A young QB, solid RB…you would think they could be higher. They are struggling in a tough division but beat the Browns? Can they build momentum and make a run?
23. Green Bay ackers – 1-7, but for some reason I’m feeling a run coming on. Can they build, or am I not reading this right?
24. Denver Broncos – they found their man, Matt Scott. Inter-division trades can be dangerous. But did the Chargers pull and Eagles, and fool their division foe by trading them a QB who won’t be the answer?
25. NY Jets - Archie Kelly was the best looking QB in the draft. Shredrick Doyle a solid young RB. Can they put it together and turn this around for next year?
26. Tennessee Titans – Pass yards is not turning into TDs. Need to get better and finishing drives. Solid between the 20’s doesn’t get you wins in XM15!
27. Buffalo Bills – are they here only to give Barons 2 guaranteed wins? Outbid the Bucs for Doug Martin in Free Agency, paid a boatload, but aside from TDs, pedestrian numbers. Time to draft Oline?
28. Chicago Bears – Game of the year. But not for performance reasons. Might have the most viewed games on the year coming up. And Brock needs to stop throwing picks.
29. Arizona Cardinals – Jesse year in and year out comes in and tries to compete. Can he build for 2017, and become a formidable opponent?
30. Dallas Cowboys. The Chism to Dez connection is up there with the Glennon to Kelly connection as the cream of the crop in the losing teams. Now can they find a RB in the draft next year to round out the offense?
31. Baltimore Ravens – Is Keith Wenning the answer? 3TDs in 20 passes…we shall see if he is the future.
32. Houston Gunners – A game vs. the Bucs coming up could slide them up a bunch of spots and drop the Bucs to 32. Rookie QB needs to finish off drives.
