WEEKLY TOP5 BY GGABOY

WEEKLY TOP 5

1.) Pittsburgh Steelers 8-0
The Steelers seem to be finding their groove this season. Atomik has his team clicking on all cylinders. Boasting a top 5 offense and a top 10 defense, this team can out score you or shut you down. It'll be interesting to see if this team can get over it's divisional round hump.

2.)Houston Texans 8-0
The Texans are doing what they always do, rolling through the regular season. After a slow offensive start to the season GGA felt the team needed a spark. After trading for a rookie quarterback, the team instantly got better, rising all the to the top 5 in offense. This could be
the year the Texans go all the way. The pressure is on!

3.) Los Angeles Rams 7-1
The Rams made it all the way to Super Bowl last season and are looking for vengeance after the defeat. They shocked the league by trading one of the best hb’s in the league. How did they replace him? With a beast of a hb in rookie Jermaine Bettis. The rookie is currently
3rd in rushing. The Rams will look to continue riding their workhorse into the playoffs.

4.) Denver Broncos 7-1
The 2x defending champs may be ranked at 4 but they're still the team to beat. An early season loss to the Texans means nothing. This team goes to another level in the postseason. The road to the Super Bowl goes through Denver until further notice.

5.) Tampa Bay Buccaneer's 7-1
This team is a complete mystery. With the 14 th ranked offense and 17th ranked defense I find myself wondering, how is this team keep winning. After digging deeper I found my answer. They lead the league in 3rd down percentage and they're 2nd in giveaways. It's tough to beat any team when they can grind out long offensive drives. However, how will this team respond when it gets into a shootout with an explosive offense? Only time will tell.

Watch List
Chiefs 7-2, Vikings 6-2, Jets 5-2, Colts 6-2

Steelers draft review

The 2015 NFL Draft has concluded, and NFL Draft expert Mike THE Great Kiper Jr. has graded the Pittsburgh Steelers 2015 draft class. Nobody really thought when the first round started that Kentucky linebacker Alvin “Bud” Dupree would still be on the board for the Steelers at pick No. 22. However, good fortune smiled down on the Steelers, and they have found one of the best all-around rush linebackers in the entire draft. This was easily the team’s top need, so it was a perfect marriage of top talent and need in a single pick. The Steelers hit the defensive backs hard, using three of eight selections for the defensive secondary. Mississippi cornerback Senquez Golson and Ohio State’s Doran Grant are both ball-hawking coverage specialists who fit well in zone-heavy schemes. Pittsburgh closed out the draft with Louisville safety Gerod Holliman. He struggled as a tackler, but you can’t undersell 14 interceptions as a deep safety. The offense was addressed with Auburn wide receiver Sammie Coates and Penn State tight end Jesse James. Both guys are physical marvels drafted in order to provide depth at their respective positions. Pittsburgh drafted two additional defensive linemen as well. Miami’s Anthony Chickillo is a defensive end who should convert to a pass-rushing outside linebacker, and Central Michigan defensive tackle Leterrius Walton is a physical freak who can play all along the defensive front. For those wondering where the Steelers grade ranks among other NFL teams, no team was given a grade higher than an A-, and the Washington Redskins, New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens joined the Steelers as the only teams given an A grade. Draft grades are nice, but to try and label an entire draft class immediately after the class is strictly guess work. However, for experts to recognize the Steelers as doing a solid job at their selections will at least make fans feel better about their team headed into the 2015 season.
