Bears Open Up With a Dominating 31-8 Win Over Talented Hawks

The Chicago Bears opened the 2021 season with a dominating 31-8 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

The Bears offense wasn't flashy, but rookie QB Nate Parker led the way with 94 yds on the ground and passing, 20/27, 201 yds, 3 TD's, Int.  No telling when star QB Zac Marks will be out of the coache's doghouse after a falling out they had following last year's NFC championship game where Marks threw 6 interceptions.

The Bear's defense simply dominated all the way around.  They held Russell Wilson and company to under 200 yds of total offense and only 8 points.  Safety Alton Carter (11 Tackles, 3.5 Sacks) proved why he's simply the best defender in the league with his awesome performance.

Black and Blue Crew Dominate Conquistadors

The Chicago Bears improved to 13-1 on the season with a very solid, convincing effort over the Conquistadors, 23-0.  The Bear's defense recorded thier 3rd shutout this season.

The Bear's offense wasn't dominant, but they did a good job of controlling the game and helping the defense stay off the field.  WR Sean Graham (6 Rec, 101 yds) showed he can play some ball finally, having hus best game by far as a Bear.

The "Black and Blue Crew" had maybe thier best game of the season thus far, and that is truly saying a lot because they have had some good ones. They held the Conquistadors to only 94 total yds.  LB Kevin Pierre Louis (6 Tackles, Sack, FF) was all over the field in this game.

Bears Steal a Win In Jacksonville

The Chicago Bears improved to 11-1 on the season, escaping with 24-23 win over the Jags in Jacksonville.

The offense struggled running the ball but the passing game was effective, especially late in the gane.  Being down by 6 late in the game, Bear's QB Zac Marks (26/39, 277 Yds, 3 TD's, 2 Int/6 Car, 66 Yds) led the offense down the field and hooked up with star 2nd year man at WR, Jason Thomas (9 Rec, 139 yds, 2 TD's) on an impressive 30 yd pass play where JT undercut the DB's, caught the ball and then made a cut upfield and darted straight for the endzone and a Bear's win.

The Bear's D gave up two big pass plays that seemed like the defenders were out of position, mainly the strong safety, but played well other than that.  The Bears gave up 233 total yds.

Black Blue Crew Dominates in 24-10 Win Over the Bucs

The Chicago Bear's have stepped up thier game on defense the last two games, holding a very good Ram's offense to only 7 points last week, and this week holding the Buc's offense to 10 points and a mere 199 yds of total offense in a 24-10 win on the road in Tampa Bay.

The Bear's offense wasn't fancy, but effective in controlling the game as they rushed for 106 yds on 28 carries, and converted 3rd downs all game long.  WR Sean Graham (5 Rec, 118 yds, TD) was the big playmaker on offense as Kenan Rivers rested and sat this one out.

The Bear's D as said above, simply dominated the Buc's offense.  Although there was only one sack in the game from the "Black and Blue Crew", they were able to put a lot of pressure on Jameis Winston and several big hits on recievers were also a key to the great defensive game put together here. B

Bears Get Smoked in Washington

The Chicago Bears drop thier first game of the year, losing to the Washington Redskins, 35-31 in Washington D.C.

The offense was inconsistent, being shutout in the 1st half, but exploding for 21 in the 3rd, then fizzling again in the 4th.  Although they gained 465 yds of total offense, it certainly wasn't a game they preferred, as they turned the ball over 3 times.  WR Kenan Rivers (8 Rec, 234 yds, 2 TD's) was the big bright spot on offense, no surprise there, he couldn't be slowed down once he got going.

The Bear's defense was pathetic to say the least....  The young DB's appeared loss.  The defense gave up big play after big play, and had no answer for TE Jordan Reed (6 Rec, 151 yds, TD) and WR Josh Gordon. The Bears will be making some changes for sure on defense as far as personnel goes it was told.

Bears Win A Sloppy Game Vs. Panthers

The Chicago Bears improve to 6-0 on the season, beating the Carolina Panthers, 35-24 in Charlotte.

The Bears offense was slow getting started, as QB Zac Marks (5/12, 134 yds, TD, 2 Int) was not on his game and was eventually knocked out of the game in the middle of the 2nd quarter.  Backup QB Alex Mason (6/11, 159 yds, 3 TD's, Int/3 Car, 21 yds) played well enough to get the Bear's a win.  The Bear's rushed for 221 yds, 2nd year RB Rashaad Landry (4 Car, 84 yds, TD) was explosive, averaging 21 yds a carry in this contest.  WR Kenan Rivers (5 Rec, 180 yds, 2 TD's) came to play today as he was of course the big play guy in the passing game.

The Bear's defense didn't play thier best game by no means, giving up 402 yds of offense and 24 points.  Several missed tackles and missed opportunies on pass defense and still a lack of turnovers.

The Bears go in on thier bye week healthy and looking to come out strong after the break.

Defense Records 2nd Straight Shutout in Win Over the Lions

The Chicago Bears improve to 3-0 on the season, an impressive 3-0, recording thier 2nd straight shutout, blasting the Lions, 38-0 in Chicago.

The Bear's offense was very effecient in this one, as they totaled 470 yds and no turnovers.  QB Zac Marks (16/25, 330 yds, 4 TD's, 0 Int) has once again found his MVP form it appears, and WR Kenan Rivers (7 Rec, 226 yds, 2 TD's) dominated the Lion's secondary, although he did have 2 rare drops.

The defense was absolutley dominant, holding the Lion's offense scoreless and holding them to only 217 total yds.  Star safety Alton "AC" Carter (4 Tackles, Sack) was all over the place, causing hurries and disrupting passing lanes.  Great performance by the "Black and Blue Crew".

Bears Lose Super Bowl 55 in a 2nd Half Collapse

Super Bowl 55 was a great one....... For one half it was at least.....  Then everything caved in on the Bears after coming out of the halftime locker room with a 21-17 lead and in good shape..... The Raiders' defensive backfield became super human it appeared and picked Bear's QB Zac Marks (26/46, 357 yds, 2 TD's, 7 Int's) a record 6 times in one half.  The Raiders would go onto win the game 41-28, an ugly end to a good first half of this Super Bowl.

The Bear's offense was, well, terrible overall, as mentioned above, 7 interceptions thrown.  Star rookie WR Jason Thomas (2 Rec, 79 yds) went out early in the game which hurt the offense in many opinions.  WR Kenan Rivers (9 Rec, 143 yds, TD) was tough to handle but couldn't carry the load by himself.  Ugly ending for a very good, very potent Bear's offense.

The Bear's defense actually didn't play that bad....  They tried to hold thier own, but when you turn the ball over 7 times, it's tough.  They held the Raiders offense to 364 yds of total offense.  Safety Alton Carter recorded 2 sacks and made a few good tackles.

Bears Advance to Super Bowl in a Classic Over the Rams

The Bears are in the Super Bowl for the 4th consecutive time, beating the previously unbeaten Rams, 49-47 in one heck of a shootout.

The Bear's offense saved the day as the Bear's defense struggled, the offense was on point all game.   The offense racked up over 600 yds of total offense.  QB Zac Marks (29/47, 557 yds, 6 TD's, 2 Int) had a great game, although he did throw two picks, he made up for it.   Star WR duo Kenan Rivers (9 Rec, 224 yds, TD) and speedy rookie Jason Thomas (10 Rec, 182 yds, 3 TD's) gave the Ram's defense fits in this one.  Rivers and Thomas are making a strong case as being the best WR duo in the league.

The Bear's defense was Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde in this game.  They gave up 28 1st half points and over 400 yds total offense in that first two quarters.  They got things together as much as they could of and only allowed 12 points in the 2nd half and had some key redzone stops.  Rams star QB Jared Goff (22/41, 474 yds, 2 TD's, Int) and RB Todd Gurley (18 Car, 145 yds, 2 TD's) owned the Bear's defense on this day.

Bears Advance to NFC CG With Win Over Skins

The Chicago Bears have advanced to thier 4th consecutive NFC Championship game with a hard fought win over the Washington Redskins, 24-20, avenging an earlier loss during the regular season.

The Bear's offense wasn't flashy, but it was effective and in the end, got the job against a very talented Redskin's defense.  QB Zac Marks (22/36, 270 yds, 2 TD's, Int) did a great job coming out in the 2nd half and leading the offense, this after the Bear's were held to only 3 points in the first 2 quarters.   WR Kenan Rivers (8 Rec, 139 yds, TD) had another great performance.

The Bear's defense came through in this one, getting critical stops when needed.  They held the Skins offense to 311 yds of total offense and completely shut down the Skin's running game (42 yds rushing). Veteran  CB Kyle Fuller had two big interceptions in this one.

The Bear's will take on the LA Rams in the NFC Championship game for the 4th straight time.  The Rams come into this one undefeated.

Bears Lose Miserably Vs. Redskins

The Chicago Bears fell to 12-2 on the season after a miserable performance all around, losing to the Washington Redskins, 24-12 in Washington D.C.

The Bear's offense was nothing short of pathetic in this one. They were only able to gain 275 yards of total offense, a season though for sure, and turn the ball over 4 times.  QB Zack Marks (10/22, 164 yds, 1 TD, 3 Int) had the worst game of his young career as he looked awful in this one.

The Bear's defense once again looked bad against the run for the 2nd straight game, giving up 141 yds on the ground.  The Redskins offense converted on several key 3rd downs and controlled the game because of that.

The Bear's take on the 5-9 New York Giants next week.

Bears Beat Up the Pack in NFC North Rivalry Game

The Chicago Bears football machine continues to roll as they improve to 12-1 on the season, beating bitter rival Green Bay Packers, 56-24 in Green Bay.  The Bears fell behind big early, but fought back and overcame a 21-0 Packers 1st qtr lead, out scoring the Pack 57-3 in the final 3 qtrs.

The Bear's offense was impressive, very impressive, as they racked up over 600 yds of total offense.  NFL MVP front runner, Zac Marks (29/46, 381 yds, 6 TD's, 2 Int's) continues to put up big numbers and continues to be maybe the best field general in the game today.  Rookie WR Jason Thomas (9 Rec, 152 yds, 2 TD's) has become a viable threat now as he continues to make big plays and of course WR Kenan Rivers (6 Rec, 138 yds, 2 TD's) put up big numbers in this one.

The Bear's defense got off to a rough start in this one, giving up 2 very long TD runs in the 1st qtr to RB David Johnson (10 Car, 175 yds, 2 TD's), but they settled in and had a great 3 quarters of play after a brutal 1st qtr. Safety Alton Carter (3 Tackles, Sack, FF, FR) was once again a force in this game along with fellow safety mate and pro bowler, Josh Norman (4 Tackles, Int).
