CJ Spiller showed why he is a premier running back in this league by scoring another 2 Touchdowns.  Spiller also rushed for 198yds on 14 carries, which is just over a whopping 14YPC.  Spiller is currently just behind Chris Johnson in the battle for the real CJ2K.  Johnson leads by 6 yards on 3 more attempts.  This is a race for the ages featuring two of the leagues fastest stars.

EJ Manuel also showed why he was a 1st day selection at quarterback.  Making smart and accurate throws.  His numbers would have been inflated higher, but a 75yd screen pass TD to speedster Marquise Goodwin was determined a backward pass, therefore a rush attempt.   Manuel still finished just shy of 200yds passing, 4TDs 0Ints, and added 45yds on the ground.

The young Bills defense also proved to be a handful for newly acquired Panthers QB Joe Flacco.  Racking up 4 Ints, 4 Sacks, with a lot more could have been turnovers and sacks that went the opposite way.

In other news, Mario Williams still has not had his opportunity to start.  When asked about his playing time he simply responded "No comment".

For the first time in nearly a decade the Buffalo Bills put together a convincing win over the nearly unbeatable New England Patriots.  The Patriots looked completely outmatched on defense against the rushing attack of the new look Buffalo Bills backfield.

CJ Spiller was the main threat with the ball in his hands.  Amassing 173yds on just 15 carries, and plunging into the endzone for 3 Scores.  After the game Spiller was his normal humble self.  When asked about his performance he said "I couldn't have done it without the Big Guys up front.  I owe it all to them".

Backing up Spiller, rookie Lache Seastrunk made the most of his 5 Carries going for 106yds for his first 100 game of his young career.  Showing the explosion that made him successful in Baylor, his 53yd carry looked like a thing of beauty getting wrapped up just shy of the endzone.

In other Bills news, it should be noted that Manny Lawson has taken over the starting DE position for Mario Williams.  Is this a sign Mario is on the Trade Block?  Was it just an experiment vs the Pass Happy Patriots?  We need to watch for this development in the upcoming weeks.
