Dallas seemingly had control of the entire game up until the 6m mark in the 4th. Leading 19-7 the boys dug in on defense to maintain their lead. Arron Rodgers had other ideas. He methodically moved the pack down the field w no sign of panic. The drive was capped off w a 15 yard td pass that made the score 19-14 w almost 3m left in the game. Dallas got the ball back and quickly earned two first downs by fooling the pack D w some timely play action passes. Before the 2 m warning coach mani decided to burn his timeouts . This was a risky move but proved to be brilliant. The pack d stoned the boys and forced them to punt w 1:30 left. It looked like the pack were finished as Rodgers couldn't move the ball. But then Rodgers found a wide open Torrey smith streaking down the sideline. A gain a 50 yards w a little less than a minute. 3 plays later cj2k punched it in an the pack took the lead 20-19. GB went for two but the pass was broken up in the endzone.

So dallas got the ball w 35 ticks on the clock w 1 timeout. After a scrambling big pass by orton dallas killed the clock w 9 sec left, no timeouts . From there own 40 dallas needed about 20 yards to get in range for Dan Bailey. Kyle Orton dropped back and hit Moss for 10 and getting out of bounds w 5 sec. It's no dejavu, the next play orton again hit moss for ten , stopping the clock w 1 big tick remaining . Bailey took his steps and set up for a 58 yrd game winning attempt to keep Dallas's playoffs hopes alive.

What thriller between these 2 NFC powerhouses. Arods comeback cannot be overlooked . He was brilliant when it counted. As was orton, 21/26 200 yards 2 td 0 ints.

 

All the attention has gone to Romo for the cowboys success this year. But it has been the cowboys "primary" ( secondary ) that has been the best in the lg. the cowboys secondary have renamed themselves " the primary " which ironically has been SECOND to none . They lead the lg w 24 team ints . 

 

Greer, Vaccaro, Carr, Woodson, Scandrick , and lee strike fear to every qb this season .

Tonight we will see two of the leagues best QBs take the field in a game that could very well be a barn burning shootout. Manning currently leads the lg in passing yards while romo after tonight could move into second place in the same category . 

 

Although manning has racked up more yards and more td passes, the stats show romo has been more efficient. Romo claims the higher qb rating and highest completion rate in the lg 2nd to only Geno Smith. Also, manning has thrown 9 ints to Romos 5.

 

The Dallas D has been stellar thus far. They are currently in the top 5 in every defensive category . That could very well change if Peyton has his way.
