Falcons get: SS Landon Collins, RG Brandon Scherff, CB Quinton Dunbar, 2021 7th Round Pick

Redskins get: LB Deion Jones, RG Chris Lindstrom, (2) 2020 2nd Round Picks

With so many moving parts only time will tell which team got the better end of the deal.

49ers and Seahawks make rare trade within the division.

Seattle get: RB Tevin Coleman

The deal came together fairly quickly after Seattle lost RB Chris Carson for the season and were in need of depth in the backfield. 

Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants have agreed on a proposed trade.

Giants get: WR Calvin Ridley, CB Desmond Trufant, OLB DeVondre Campbell, 2020 7th Round Pick

The Green Bay Packers currently sit #6 in the power rankings and have gotten off to a blistering start. Packers are coming off a statement win against division rival Minnesota who they split wins with last year. Packers GM and Coach, Gerard Phillips, has set the pace for the NFC and wants everyone to know that the conference goes thru Green Bay. He has shown a lack of respect for his opponents this year and many wonder will it be his downfall?What we do know is that it is always windier at the top of the mountain. Phillips' rebuttal to that, "Air is thin at the top, might get hard for the Redskins (and the rest of the league) to breathe up here."

Congratulations to Blue Inc. and the Denver Broncos in defeating the Green Bay Packers 31-17 in the Superbowl. 

The Houston Texans currently have the leagues best record and sit a top the power rankings. Houston will put the leagues longest win streak (9) on the line when the AFC West leading, Denver Broncos come to town. Vegas bookmakers currently have the Texans as 2 point favorites. Can the Broncos end the streak? Only time will tell. 

Rumors are circulating that Super Bowl winning coach, Notchie Ryan, is considering coming out of retirement and putting the headset back on. As of now, no word on which teams would be interested in hiring the old ball coach. I'm sure we'll know more in the days to come.

Bitter rivals will meet this week on the gridiron for sole possession of the NFC North. The Packers beat the Vikings earlier this season in a game that Adrian Peterson missed due to injury. Peterson vows things will be different with him on the field. Packers head coach, Gerard Lavish, says the outcome will be the same even with Peterson on the field this time. I guess this is why they play the game. Get your popcorn ready, should be a good one. 

Rumors are swirling that tight end Rob Gronkowski could be on his way out of Green Bay. Gronkowski, who was acquired earlier this season from the New England Patriots has been a bit of a disappointment according to Packer Head Coach, Gerard Lavish. It is currently unknown what the Packers are seeking in compensation for the Pro Bowl tight end.

Elite quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers drop a game to the Baltimore Ravens that many experts had them winning. Rodgers played the worst game of his career totaling 7 interceptions and 1 lonely touchdown. Head Coach, Gerard lavish, went on record immediately following the game and simply stated, "we stink."

Newly acquired wide receiver, Anquan Boldin, pays big dividends in his fist game as a Minnesota Viking. Boldin grabbed 5 passes for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns to help the Vikings beat the Tennessee Titans and keep pace with the Green Bay Packers for the divison title.

Despite a slow start to the season for Cordarrelle Patterson, the San Francico 49ers have decided to acquire the rookie receiver in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings. In return the 49ers will send veteran receiver Anquan Boldin to the Vikings. Both Patterson and the Niners hope this transaction can be mutally benefiacial for both parties and turn around the current season.
