1. On the left column are your “servers” and DM chats. After clicking on the server, the “channels” (text and voice chats) will be listed in the middle. (See Left image below) 

2. Click on the channel you wish to open. I clicked “social-chat” on the SML server. (See Middle image below) The 3 lines in the top left corner will take you back to the screen shown in the left image.

3. If you receive a DM & have a channel open, it will notify you in the top left corner. (See Right image below)

Your DM will show up at the top of the server list as seen in the image on the Left below.

4. Want to send someone a DM? Click the icon to the top right. (See Left image below) 

Then you will see all the members in the server alphabetically with those who are currently online at the top. (See Middle image below) 

Click the person you’d like to DM. Then the option to send a DM will pop up under the user profile. (See Right image below)

5. Need to edit, post an emoji reaction, delete, copy or reply to a message? Hover over the message & hold down your finger for 1 second. Then the options will pop up. (See image below)

6. Want to post a GIF? Click the ‘smiley mofo’ at the bottom right of the message box. (See Left image below) That will open up the option to search for and post gifs. (See Right image below)

Notifications:

7. There are ‘server specific’ notifications as well as ‘channel (chat) specific’ notifications.

For server notifications, click the 3 dots in the top right corner. (See Left image below) 

From there you have the option to access the server notifications. (See Middle image below)

Once you have accessed the server notifications, you will have different options available. (See Right image below)

8. You can also choose ‘channel (chat) specific’ notifications. You may not want to use these options. All channels will be defaulted to your ‘server specific’ notifications if they are unchanged. If you DO wish to change these see below.

To open those you should be in the specific channel and be able to see members as you did above. (See Left image below. Refer to topic #4 about DMs if you forgot how to navigate here.)

Click on Settings with the cogwheel icon to open up the channel options. From there click on the notification settings. (See Middle image below)

From there you have the option to Mute/unmute the entire chat channel within a server. You can also choose to receive All messages, Only @ mentions, or Nothing. (See Right image below)

New Madden, new SML locations, new rivalries, & even some new owners.... lets look at some way too early predictions shall we?

AFC East

Nole picked his team over here 1st. The most blue collar team in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills. I'm writing in Nole (Noel for ZZ) as the season 1 AFCE champ. PJ is gonna keep the race close and set himself up for a playoff push. He took the "never-Madden sexy" Pats. Pats have probably the best secondary to start out but he already has some vets on the trade block. LatinYank, aka Alex, is going to come in 3rd with this sneaky-good Jets team. No XFactors to be found, but they are solid all around on both sides of the ball. Coach Pauly gonna be fighting for the best pick in the draft as he dind't even know his QB was left handed until a full day after he picked Miami. 'Nuff said.

AFC West

FutureEmpire has bee compaired to a "folding chair" for never getting it done in the post-season. I look for him to sneak away with the division in this early season. He will be putting in the extra reps to stay ahead of the competition early. He also made a certain former SML owner leave the league with this pick, so it's only right that he hangs up the 2020 AFC West championship banner. QB, Dan & ZZ round out this division. Most are calling this division the toughest in the SML for the M21 cycle. I can't say that they are wrong. I'm picking QB a lock for a wildcard spot with the Chargers. Dan might take a full season to figure this all out and might even miss the playoffs season 1. I expect him in the playoffs most seasons following this one barring some unforseen injury problems. ZZ is making top 10 lists and tired of me telling him he sucks. He doesn't suck, but I'm not ready to put him top 10 or in the playoffs based on some practice games. Go out there and prove me wrong Peepaw. I will always cheer on the Chiefs unless I'm facing you.

AFC North

NYT got that Lamar + Hollywood combo by selling away all his carnival rides and donating $2k to the SML for the 4th overall pick. I'm gonna pick him as the division winner season 1. He'll need to stay on top of his game because old man Woods kept his same squad from M20 in the Browns. T2Step picked up a nice franchise squad as well with the Bengals. Any of those 3 could be winning this division over the rest of the Madden cycle. I'm sorry KJ, but you took the 1 team I really thought would fall to me around pick 27, the Steelers. For passing on your favorite team to run away from Prime, I'm picking you to finish 4th here season 1. Best of luck to you though my fellow cricket lover.

AFC South

The Prime effect in full force. I picked my team late & I had 7 options. THREE of my options were in the AFC South. I didn't back away, but I'm also a realist. I'm picking Prime to win the division season 1 until one of us proves it on the field. I'm not going to rank myself, MadBomber or KingKoopa. Coach Pauly called us the "cupcake division." We might all be a season away from getting the right team on the field to battle the goat. I still think this will be a tougher division than people think. Until we prove it on the field, there isn't much else to say.

NFC East

In any normal Madden season 1, I'd be picking Gram to win this. I'm not sure he's gotten over M20 at this point. I'm going to say that in a surprise season 1 Chris will walk away the winner of the divison. In doing so, he will request some bubble bath feet pics from Gram. Rowin and Blunt might need more time to gather the full set of pieces to make a run at the division. Rowin is ready with his Giants, but I'm not sure that team is ready to play defense just yet. Gram, go hit the practice field. I'd like to keep your bubbled up feet pics out of group chat as much as we can this cycle.

NFC West

Meats goes to the desert and picks the Cards. I think he will pick up fast and win the division season 1. Dump is ranking himself elite to start off. We'll see how that plays out. His team is definitely elite. Will he start off quick? I'm not sold just yet. I'm also not counting out Cobra. His best shot for this Rams team will be in the 1st few seasons before AD gets too old. This could be a tough divison. Any of those 3 can probably finsish to win the division. Tiny, you are getting the KJ treatment. You ran away from the AFC & your beloved team to grab Seattle. Good luck because you are finishing 4th from the, "favorite team curse," that I'm hexing you with. Enjoy

NFC North

Mike maybe had the 1st surprise pick in the draft at #5 overall taking the Packers. This team is solid on both sides of the ball. If he can get it together early on, he has a shot at this 1st season and many others to come. I'm only going to pensil him in as a wild card contender season 1. I think he will test the 1 on 1 match ups deep too often, which doesn't always end the way you hope it will. Fazz I'm going to pick to be the division winner. Vikings are solid all around and probably the team I should have taken. They are ready to win now before some of the stars start aging. Figg needs a QB on his team, but he might be able to win with defense. Bears are another team I was hopeful to fall as they have some key players to build around. C-Hova, I don't remember enough about your play to pick you to win yet. Also, you picked the Lions over the Texans. So, good luck with that team.

NFC South

As much as the AFC West gets picked for the toughest division, this is one is also right up there. Call them 1.A & 1.B if you want. Royce and myself have had some battles in the past, so I know his skill set. I can say the same about Lawyer. Season 1 I'm picking Royce to win the division. This could get ugly with all the talented teams taking blows at one another. Lawyer got a team with some really great players. If he can find a QB replacement down the road, he should be set up nice for this cycle. Field grabbed the real life Goat and went with the Bucs. This team is pretty stacked. If he can also get a Brady replacement after season 1, he will be set up for a playoff run every season. Colt I haven't even mentioned yet and took the Saints. This team is also stacked. We all saw what Colt could do last year with team building, so starting off with this team should be a great fit. This division can end up being anyone's season to season. Team building and grinding on the field will be the deciding factors no doubt. 

Shout-out to Pauly for picking me as "Da Truth Zero," when he should probably have just picked himself for that "award."

I'll look this up after the season and see how right or wrong I may be with all these predicitons. 

What did I use to make this list? I based this list on some articles by Sports Gamers Oline (SGO) & T4Verts on Twitter who also writes for SGO.

Factors:

Tier 1 - Youth for a stating a franchise & Player abilities on the roster

Tier 2 - Best pass rush, something that was super important for M20

Tier 3 - Best offensive weapons & Best long term QB for franchise

Tier 4 - Best OL

Tier 5 - Cap stituation (Anything seem workable in Madden)

Teams in order from best to worst for starting a franchise in Madden 21:

49ers – Best in abilities, #2 youth, top 5 pass rush; offensive weapons top 10

Chiefs – QB + offensive weapons + abilities, all top 3

Ravens – youth + QB + abilites, all top 5; Top 10 OL

Cowboys – youth + abilities + OL, all top 5; Top 10 OL; good QB

Browns – youth + pass rush + OL, all top 5; offensive weapons top 15; good QB

Eagles – QB + abilities + offensive weapons, all top 10; OL + pass rush both ranked #1; Negatives are bad cap situation, aging superstars. Manage your money or trade some players!

Saints – youth + abilities + OL + pass rush, all top 10; Offensive weapons ranked #1; Negatives cap are the situation & an old QB.

Chargers – pass rush top 10; abilities + offensive weapons, both top 15; Top 5 cap situation

Cardinals – QB + abilities + offensive weapons, all top 10; good cap situation

Washington Ninnies – youth + cap situation, both top 5; Top 10 pass rush; Negatives: dead last in offensive weapons

Packers – Abilities + pass rush + OL, all top 10; youth ranked #11; Good QB but aging

Bucs – Ablities top 10; offensive weapons top 5; pass rush top 15; Brady + Gronk aging

Bengals – QB + pass rush + youth, all top 10; great cap situation.

Bills – youth top 10; pass rush + abilities + offensive weapons, all middle of the pack.

Colts – youth top 10; Cap + OL, both top 3; Negatives are QB situation and lack of abilities

Panthers – Offensive weapons top 10; OL + youth, both middle of the pack.

Rams – Abilities + OL + pass rush + QB, all top 15.

Broncos – pass rush ranked 11^th; abilities and cap middle of the pack; Negatives offensive weapons, youth & OL.

Jags - #1 cap space; middle of the pack in most categories; Need a QB & offensive weapons.

Seahawks – QB + offensive weapons + cap, all top 10; decent youth; horrible OL & pass rush

Texans – Top 3 QB; Bottom 5 in cap; middle of the pack for youth; missing many pieces outside of the QB.

Steelers – Top 5 pass rush; top 10 OL; abilites middle of the pack; pretty blah outside those areas.

Raiders – Top 5 OL; abilities middle of the pack; Speed; Team needs a rebuild.

Vikes – Abilities + offensive weapons, both top 11; Aging vets and pieces missing over the roster.

Giants – offensive weapons top 5; youth top 10; You didn’t want to play defense anyways right?

Falcons – Middle of the pack in most categories; Aging QB & star WR; Weak OL

Bears – Top 3 pass rush; 11^th ranked OL; Offense needs a lot of help.

Pats – Top 5 OL + cap; Team in rebuild mode

Titans – Middle of the pack or worse in all categories; Feed Henry often like they do in real life.

Lions – Same boat as above, middle of the pack or worse in all categories. Press play & pray

Dolphins – Decent rookie QB; Roster needs desperate help everywhere else on offense and defense.

Jets – Decent QB + Cap; dead last at #32 in youth; Rebuild mode is in full effect.

Coop’s Week 4 Season prediction UPDATES

• 1. ARIZONA CARDINALS – “I’m calling for Andy Isabella to reach 1600 yards receiving this season.”

Isabella after 4 games: 247 yards, 4 TDs

Pace: 988 yards, 16 TDs 

Not on pace for the 1600 yards but still leading the team. This prediction looking to fall short.

• 2. ATLANTA FALCONS – “NYT will also post the fewest memes since M19. #summertime”

NYT isn’t slowing down with the meme game. And he’s upped his game by sending inappropriate memes, pics, & texts to his wife. Keepin’ SML 100.

• 3. BALTIMORE RAVENS – “The Folding Chair won’t be folding until the off-season hits and I think he’ll make the AFC championship game.”

We are a long ways off to see if this prediction will hold up.  Meats is currently 2-1 during his bye week.

• 4. BUFFALO BILLS – “Konk somehow finishes the season without a suspension.”

Oof. I was way off. Y’all knew the Konk better than me. Hopefully you tracked his IP address for one of his 5 different PSN’s, twitch accounts, etc. RIP Bang gang. Welcome in Yank. We already enjoy a better Bills owner being in the SML.

• 5. CAROLINA PANTHERS –“He’s just like Michael Jordan except better at baseball than his current sport.”

Mike sits at 2-2 & gave the Bears a d*** punch last week. He’s on pace for his consistent 8-8 finish. 

• 6. CINCINNATI BENGALS – “Folding Chair wins the division and the Bengals struggle another season.”

Row is 1-3 and faces Meats a 2^nd time in week 5. Keep chasing that tail though….

• 7. CHICAGO BEARS –“How’s that loss taste Pauly? Eat your stupid fish and enjoy 0-1.”

I’m leading the division and staying games with some defense and Madden magic. I’ve lost to Mike so the chances of me staying on top for the full season is slim. 

• 8. CLEVELAND BROWNS – “Woods is here! Ready to tear it up on last run in M20…. Only to faulter late in the year and watch the Ravens in the playoffs.”

So far so good Woods. 2-1 Browns could make a push for the playoffs & hopefully prove me wrong down the stretch. 

• 9. DALLAS COWBOYS –“ Gramz is too busy on the beach to gameprep. Dallas has another under .500 season…”

Gram is 3-1 and looking good only in 2^nd place in his division only behind the New GOAT.

• 10. DENVER BRONCOS – “Chris is taking this divison.”

Chris is tied in 1^st place in the division at 3-1 with KC. He could still win it.

• 11. DETROIT LIONS – “PJ already grabbing for his M20 pj’s and sleeping off this game.”

No wins yet this season for PJ. He’s found other PSN games to peak his interest.

• 12. GREEN BAY PACKERS – “Gurley goes down and is injured multilple games. Lawyer struggles and misses out on the division once again.”

Gurley won’t go donw yet. Lawyer is at 2-2 after a tough loss to Da Bears that he probably should have won.

• 13. HOUSTON TEXANS –“He can’t top the Former Goat and does not pick his division for M21.”

Field is at 1-3 and looks to be struggling on offense, at the week 3 advance he was ranked 30^th in points scored. As for not picking his bro’s division next Madden…. I still think that will hold up.

• 14. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS – “…as much as he’ll cry, he’ll top the division again.”

Prime is atop the division at 4-0. Is anyone surprised? I think he did finally moved past "The Play" and haven't seen any new tears this week.

• 16. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS –“I’m still taking the Broncos for the divison but he could fight for a wildcard birth.”

He’s right there at 3-1 in his divions after a week 4 loss to the Bills. If Mr. Keepz can keep it up he’ll be in the playoffs.  

• 17. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS – “Bluntburner will keep logging those games but be feeling too good to care if it’s a W or L. Burn on my dude.”

1-2 to start off with a week 4 matchup vs. Royce still to go. Blunt seems to be struggling on offense as well. Can he turn it around?

• 18. LOS ANGELES RAMS – “2Step is doing what is needed to put M20 out of memory. AD retired and he is still pouring one out for the long lost beast every SML week.”

At 2-2 Mr. 2Step is staying in this. His team has 8 sacks through 4 games & I’m sure still misses AD.

• 15. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS – “Dump will keep putting numbers on the board but will it lead to a divions win? I say no, but he’s most likely back in the wildcard spot.”

Dump is ranked top 5 in points, yards, passing yards, and rushing yards. He is just 1 game back behind the Former GOAT.

• 19. MIAMI DOLPHINS –“ KJ finally spends a 1^st round pick on a QB…. Too late my friend.”

Struggles continue in Miami as KJ’s right in most of those games, but not coming up with wins.

• 20. MINNESOTA VIKINGS – “I’m calling for Pauly winning the division.”

Pauly is tied for 2^nd at 2-2. RB Hines treated Roquan like his little b***h and still scored on him week 1. He’s right in this and only 1 game back in the division.

• 21. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS – “Qbstud wins this division again.”

Sitting at 4-0 is anyone else going to step up? Maybe Yank with the Bills riding high after winning in KC.

• 22. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS – “Beat up on NYT as much as you can pal.”

ZZ just lost to NYT. I don’t think there were any major injuries. Keep trying next time.

• 23. NEW YORK GIANTS –“He’s making his final season brew as we speak. Let’s toast to the final season shall we?”

Ship me some of that final season SML homebrew will ya?

• 24. NEW YORK JETS –“I have something you can blow on…..”

• 25. OAKLAND RAIDERS – “Raider is going to run Greer into a coma once again. “

Greer is averaging just under 148 yards a game and has 6 TDs through 4 weeks. He’s still healty at this point.

• 26. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES – “Dan will be in the wildcard.” 

Dan is sitting at 2-2. Is Cox’s regression taking away that added part of his game? He’s still in the hunt so don’t count him out just yet.

• 28. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS – “Spooky changes his avatar from the turtle and curses his beloved team. “

0-4 is where Spooky sits as I write this…. The curse is real.

• 29. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS –“He’s taking this division for a final season…”

4-0 is how he is doing without Russell Wilson starting. ‘Nuff said.

• 27. PITTSBURGH STEELERS –“He may not do much this season on the field…”

0-4 and the curse of Josh Rosen lives on through M20. #TraitsMatter

• 30. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS – “Cheers to a quick recovery. (Nole)”

Nole is doing well and that is what is important. Now we get Mark? Oh how the SML keeps setting the standards lower. (j/k)

• 31. TENNESSEE TITANS – “He will pay anyone above him on the M21 team selection list up to $25 not to pick the Titans.”

Coop’s Week 1 Overreations & Season predictions

• 1. ARIZONA CARDINALS - QB rookie Lucas Wolfe leads the Cards to a win at home vs Gram & dem boys. I’m calling for Andy Isabella to reach 1600 yards receiving this season. Something he hasn’t gotten close to since 2020.

• 22. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS – ZZ my man. Wins week one with 6 points. Someone grab this man a beer, raise your glass and toast. “A win is a win.” Beat up on NYT as much as you can pal.

• 23. NEW YORK GIANTS – Figg my man. Likes his coffee but says he can’t draft. That is a problem in NY where this team really needed a revamped defense. He’s making his final season brew as we speak. Let’s toast to the final season shall we?

• 24. NEW YORK JETS – Royce, the man who I was nothing but nice to in seasons 1 & 2… calls me out for getting blown out back to weeks on Rolling with Royce last season. I have something you can blow on…..

• 25. OAKLAND RAIDERS – Raider is going to run Greer into a coma once again. Mostly because this Greer guy can’t see over his sholder pads. He’ll break 2k yards again but get concussed running into the goal post on his final TD run. You shouldv’e just given the man proper gear my dude.

• 26. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES – Dan will be in the wildcard. Cox refuses to quit on this team and Dan will find a way to keep winning with them.

• 28. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS – Spooky changes his avatar from the turtle and curses his beloved team. It already started week 1 with only putting up 3 points. #Bringbacktheturtle

• 29. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS – Future is the man to embarrass me on the field anytime any day. He’s taking this division for a final season but can he make a playoff push?

• 31. TENNESSEE TITANS – Tiny turns 30 and joins us other old $#^&s in the league. He will pay anyone above him on the M21 team selection list up to $25 not to pick the Titans.

• 32. WASHINGTON REDSKINS – THE PEOPLE’S CHAMP IS HERE! Was it a fluke or was it destiny? The kick heard round the SML world. Skins to the bowl again this last season. (Prime this is where you switch from jugs of chocolate milk to the little kiddie cartons to keep out the tears. You’re welcome Former Goat.)

Only 1 undefeated team remains in the XFL. The LA Chargers lead by lead running back Melvin Gordon. Gordon ended his hold out and decided to prove it on the field this season. He looks to get a nice return for his play through 5 weeks. Coach WTF has this team ready for a playoff run. 

Kareem Hunt is already on the move again. In a surprising trade, the Panthers are sending their 1st round draft pick for the former Chief's All-Pro runningback. 

The Chiefs struggles have continued on into the 2015 season after losing starting QB Gelsomi & then also losing HB Jamaal Charles in week 12 to a season ending injury. 

The Chiefs will face Cleveland in week 16 & then Denver in week 17. Right now they sit at 8-6 in a tight race for the #6 Wild card spot in the AFC. Will the Chiefs pull through? The Broncos (8-7)? The Steelers(8-7)?

Week 17 looks like a big game in the AFC West where Big Red will face Kung-Foo.
