The 49ers signed QB Hoyer and Drafted QB Beathard. Amongst other moves this past offseason The QB story never came to frution as Beathard led the league in INTs (48) and only threw 17 TDs. The 49ers were able to bolster the Oline with by accuiring Star Guard and Stanford, CA product David Decastro. Bolstering the secondary with Ross Cockrell and adding a true pass catcher in Jordan Mathews. A few bright spots in the season RG Tre Jackson is really coming into his own along with TE Rookie George Kittle Safety Jaquiski Tartt also had his coming out party 5 tackles and 3 INTS 2 for pick 6s and showed he deserves the starting spot he earned after the team traded Safety Jimmie Ward. With DEF stars Buckner, Reid, Bowman and Rookie standout Rueben Foster the 49ers are building brick by brick.  Heading into the offseason The 49ers have 60 Million in cap space and 8 picks in the 1st 3 rounds of the draft. Assurdley they will be looking at the DEEP QB situation. They have the #4 overall pick and need a QB. RB Carlos Hyde expressed is disinterest with staying with the team and with a stable of young fast RBs. We granted Carlos his wish in testing his market someone will assurdley over pay him.  The 49ers are going to have a great draft and free agency stake. Look for them to contend in the division this year.
