As we wrap up the end of the 2013-2014 season the Chargers are preparing their move to Mexico City. At the Beginning of the season we were happy to announce the move to all of our Fans and supporters. We hope to see the majority of you follow the team to Mexico City.
At the beginning of the season we were projected to go 9-7 and finish 2nd in the AFC West behind the Chiefs. It was our mission to finish better, shatter the prediction. Looking out our schedule we were pretty confident that 12-4 would be the worst we could possibly go, as it turns out we finished 14-2 despite some hardcore injuries.
In the 2nd game of the season we lost starting HB Ryan Mathews for the rest of the regular season, in our 3rd game we lost our Starting QB Philip Rivers for 3 games. The injuries hurt but we were able to win. After the injury to QB Philip Rivers the Chargers were stuck with backup Sorenson. "We felt he couldnt produce enough plays for us to be successful in the 2 games Philip was out, so we had to do what we had to do, and that was to bring in QB Tim Tebow from the Raiders." Tebow came in and shocked the coaching staff with the knowledge he was able to spew during the QB meetings, and with his performance in both the games it was a no brainer to name him the new starting QB and let Rivers come off the Bench.
The Chargers were able to go undefeated until week 11, the 1st loss of the season came to the Miami Dolphins, The Chargers were unprepared for the Dolphins attack, Denario Alexander was also knocked out of the game early. Denario was out for 4 more weeks after that game. With the trade deadline coming up the Chargers looked at all options and were finally able to agree to a deal to bring in WR Ted Ginn and HB Jonathan Stewart, both players would become starters while Alexander and Mathews were out with injuries, The very next game another disapointing loss would be added on to the record. "After the 2nd loss i knew it was time to get it together and do whatever it took to win" said Tebow, and after that he put up great numbers.
The Chargers were able to finish an AFC best 14-2 but fell 1 game short of finishing with the best record behind the 15-1 Packers. Despite finishing 2nd, QB Tim Tebow was able to win MVP, and Mike Mccoy was able to win AFC Coach of the Year. "I didnt want to let the team down after winning the MVP award, its not about personal awards but all about the Lombardi trophy" Said Tebow. And a few weeks later Tebow and everyone else was able to enjoy the offseason knowing they achieved the best accomplishment they could in a season, Winning the Super Bowl!!!

In a back n forth game with the Cowboys the Chargers looked doomed with 25 seconds left 3rd n 15 backed all the way up to the 20 in a tie game, Get it or Lose was what came to mind when Bam was scrolling through the plays. Bam called the right play and hit Denario Alexander (MVP!!) over the middle for a 1st down, after that bam was able to get off 2-3 more plays to get closer to FG Range. To see what the outcome was you gotta watch the video!!

After throwing another Interception in crunch time, the Chargers benched Rivers and brougth in Rookie Jordan Weaver. With less then 1 minute left in the 3rd quarter Weaver was able to throw for 225+ yards and 3 touchdowns, completing 15-20 passes vs the Denver Broncos, the Chargers still lost 45-48 but Weaver gave the team hope.
"I think I can help the team win, and perform better under pressure then Philip can." Said Rookie Weaver.
Philip Rivers has demanded a trade and wants out of San Diego. The Chagers are willing to package a draft pick with Rivers.
Chargers needs, RG, and a back up QB.
4 Weeks into TS4L the Chargers are atop the AFC West with a record of 3-1. People thought Al Bundy and the Chargers would be rebuilding, but thats not the case. "Why should we rebuild when we can win with the team we have now" said Chargers QB Philip Rivers.
The Chargers have aquired HB Maurice Jones-Drew via trade. The Chargers were able to resign Jones-Drew to a 5 year $40M deal. "A obvious must, we can't make it without a balanced attack, MJD will help us dominate the AFC West for years to come" Said coach Mike Mccoy.
The Chargers offensive attack is lead by TS4L vet Maurice Jones-Drew, the Chargers traded Ryan Mathews, Ladarius Green and a 2nd round Draft pick for MJD and a 6th rounder. "For me it was a no brainer, MJD is a big upgrade for us and he is more reliable. He doesnt get injured that easily and he can hold onto the rock" Said Al Bundy owner of the Chargers Franchise. The Chargers were able to resign Jones-Drew to a 5 year $40M deal. "A obvious must, we can't make it without a balanced attack, MJD will help us dominate the AFC West for years to come" Said coach Mike Mccoy.
In 3 Games, Maurice Jones-Drew has racked up 322 rushing yards, 111 receiving yards, and a total of 5 touchdowns, he is becoming a fan favorite in San Diego and if he can keep doing what hes doing theres no doubt he will help lead this team to the playoffs.
The Chargers are leading the divison with a 3-1 record with the Cheifs right behind them at 2-1, the Cheifs play a tough NFC opponent this week in BxBrotha so the chargers might hold the Division lead for a while if Bx can stop Flama. The Broncos and Raiders are both 1-2 and could end up 1-3 if that happens then the division battle will be between SD and KC.
"People laughed when i said the AFC West belonged to the Chargers, but now im backing myself up with the Ws, Like i said before the season started, the Chargers will win the AFC West and get a 1st round Bye in the Playoffs." Said Al Bundy after the Dallas game.
See ya guys in 4 Weeks!
This season the Chargers are under new ownership, Alex Spanos is out and Al Bundy is in. Al Bundy has been retired from selling shoes for 2 years and has claimed bankruptcy due to Peggy (his big red wife) using all the money on Bon-Bons. Al found the for sale ad in the paper and decided to contact Mr. Spanos, for some odd reason Spanos wanted out so bad all it took was Als broken down Chevy. After Al told Alex about his championship game in high school where he threw 4 TDs the job was his.
So far the moves Al has made look promising, upgrading the DBs and getting valued draft picks. Also picking up DT Pouha to help bolster the D-Line.
Philip Rivers on the moves: "So far all i've seen have been upgrades and insurance for the future, i like the direction AL is taking. Whatever helps us win."
A statement from AL himself.
"If i can survive hell, the chargers can make the Playoffs"
