S3 - TOP 5 Stats & C'Mon Man Nominations

Welcome to the Season 3 Top 5 Stat Leaders and C'MON MAN Nominations!

This is my personal list of league leaders during season 3 and should not be taken as an insult to anyone. Most of these players have been ripped straight out of the top of the stats book while others are my very own selections who I feel are worthy. Players listed in the Come on Man area are under-performers who should of put together better numbers last season. With that being said let us begin!

Top 5 QB's

1) Robert Griffin III, was - 5,569 yards for 53 touchdowns and 52 interceptions
2) Harris Dukes, sd - 4,572 yards for 39 touchdowns and 29 interceptions
3) Matthew Stafford, det - 4,305 yards for 42 touchdowns and 23 interceptions
4) Joe Flacco, bal - 4,187 yards for 32 touchdowns and 32 interceptions
5) Logan Thomas, phi - 4,786 yards for 27 touchdowns and 44 interceptions

RG3 is king once again breaking his own previous yardage record of 4,818 passing yards. I highly doubt that anyone will come close to having such a godly year passing the ball again. Interestingly in our three seasons RG3, Joe Flaco and Andrew Luck are the only quarterbacks to appear on this list twice. Look out for rookie second overall pick Harris Dukes as he has proved his worth to San Diego.

COME ON MAN, QUARTERBACK...

1) Robert Griffin III, was - 5,569 yards for 53 touchdowns and 52 interceptions

Somewhere Ryan Nassib can take a sigh of relief as Robert Griffin the Turd has broken the interception record of 51. Congratulations RG3, you are the best and the worst quarterback on the year yet another accomplishment that will likely never be broken. Seriously just draft a running back already Washington...

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 RB's

1) Le'Veon Bell, pit - 1,734 yards and 19 touchdowns
2) Adrian Peterson, tb - 1,701 yards and 18 touchdowns
3) Eddie Lacy, gb - 1,664 yards and 14 touchdowns
4) Jerick McKinnon, min - 1,619 yards and 8 touchdowns
5) Carlos Hyde, sf - 1,568 yards and 18 touchdowns

Le'Veon Bell has broken PTSL's rushing touchdown record with 19 this season. While the rushing yardage record still remains at 1,873 set by Carlos Hyde, this years rushing leader had a season that is good enough for second on the all time list. Interestingly Bell and Hyde are the only two rushers to appear on this list each of our first three seasons. Carlos Hyde is winning the all time yardage race at 5,043 yards versus 4,880 for Bell. In our three seasons we have not had any top five runners that have been drafted by our coaches.

COME ON MAN, RUNNING BACK...

1) Jamaal Charles, kc - 594 yards and 3 touchdowns

For whatever reason Mr Charles can not seem to ever get it going in Kansas City as this is his second appearance on our list in three seasons. A whopping 2.6 yards per attempt might come from Jamaal tripping and falling flat on nearly every play, there is no other explanation. Push the right analog stick forward and use this man like the beast he is.

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 WR's

1)  Johnnie Cross, phi - 1,805 yards and 10 touchdowns
2) DeSean Jackson, was - 1,722 yards and 17 touchdowns
3) Trenten Roland, sd - 1,648 yards and 16 touchdowns
4) Cordarrelle Patterson, min - 1,411 yards and 11 touchdowns
5) Tyler Eifert, cin - 1,397 yards and 10 touchdowns

Johnnie Cross is back as the most deadly receiver in our league two seasons in a row however this seasons campaign was slightly behind last years effort. In Detriot they will be happy to know our yardage record still remains with Calvin Johnson from season one. Overall numbers in general were down this year for our pass catchers. Outside of Mr Cross all of the names on this list are brand new never having appeared before. Trenten Roland is our second ever rookie to crack into the top five while Tyler Eifert is our first ever tightend to appear.

COME ON MAN, WIDE RECEIVER...

1) Cory Duncan, pit - 367 yards and 2 touchdowns

At the start of season two Cory Duncan was one of the big name rookie receivers drafted to make a splash. He put up a total of 1,189 yards and 11 touchdowns to go along with his impressive potential. However this season was certainly an extremely down year as he only grabbed in 21 balls for 367 yards and 2 touchdowns. Was his one year of a success a fluke?

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Tacklers

1) Ryan Shazier, jac - 117 takles
2) Deone Bucannon, ari - 98 tackles
3) Derrick Johnson, kc - 98 tackles
4) NaVorro Bowman, sf - 97 tackles
5) Jaquese Mauro, jac - 94 tackles

We have a new tackle record set in tackle town florida, led by Ryan Shazier who has broke Rolando McClain's season one record of 116 tackles! While Ryan Shazier leads the way equally impressive is teammate Jaquese Mauro who racks in at number five with 94 tackles. Every other name on this list is new and overall compared to least season in every city minus Jacksonville tackles were down.

COME ON MAN, TACKLER...

1) Sean Lee, dal - 24 tackles

If you are a big name middle linebacker you better be getting more than twenty four tackles a season! Seriously give them the Big D over there in Dallas and hit the square button man!

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Sacks

1) Taukei Carroll, cin - 25 sacks
2)  Damon Harrison, cin - 23 sacks
3)  Jeremiah Trahan, no - 16 sacks
4) Geno Atkins, cin - 16 sacks
5) Marcell Dareus, buf - 16 sacks

We have a new sack king in second year right side linebacker Taukei Carroll who has broken our sack record of 23 previously held by Connor Barwin. It appears everyone in Cinninati was juiced up on some funky stuff this season as they feature and incredible three players in the top five. We bow down to you sack master truckfarm. In general sacks were outstandingly high this season and might be a direct result of teams not focusing on building offensive lines as we progress.

COME ON MAN, SACKS...

1) Tamba Hali, oak - 2 sacks

Oakland has a complete monster coming off the right side of the defensive line as evidence by his prior seasons accomplishments. However this season the man might of been on existent as his impact was uneventful.

------------------------------------------------

TOP 5 INTERCEPTIONS

1) Lavonte David, tb - 15 picks
2) Jason Verrett, sd - 13 picks
3) Malcolm Jenkins, phi - 13 picks
4)  DeAngelo Hall, was - 12 picks
5)  Darius Slay, det - 12 picks

Lavonte David is one of the best all around players in our league. The previous season he was the league leader in tackles and the year before that the man also clocked in as the number two tackler. Now he gets to add becoming this years interception leader to his impressive resume. Darius Slay joins our list again as he is the only player along with Deone Bucannon to appear twice on the interception leader list in our three seasons of action.

COME ON MAN, INTERCEPTIONS...

1) Antonio Cromartie, ari - 4 picks

One of the best corners in our league only grabbed in three interceptions this season. What the hell happened there! Every season he has had no less than eight grabs, to drop off this fast is completely unexpected. Perhaps the old man can use his cane to swat in a few more balls next season.

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Kickers

1) Brandon McManus, gb - 32 of 38 field goals with a long of 52
2) Blair Walsh, min - 30 of 33 field goals with a long of 55
3) Chandler Catanzaro, az - 30 of 34 field goals with a long of 52
4) Shaun Suisham, pit - 30 of 35 field goals with a long of 54
5) Mason Crosby, cin - 29 of 31 field goals with a long of 59

Kickers are people to and thats what this list is for. While Brandon McManus took the crown this year the record still remains with Greg Zurelein's Rams in season 1... will 36 field goals made in a season ever be broken? Watchout for Mason Crosby's leg as he and Patrick Murray from Washington both tied on the longest field goal of 59 yards this season.

COME ON MAN, KICKER...

1) Robbie Gould, chi - 10 of 18 field goals with a long of 52

The man no longer has a foot of gold it appears. It is sad to see a once established kicker fall so far off the map in one season. While playing in the windy city undoubtedly makes booting the ball a little bit harder it should not cause a 52% success rate. May your foot be blessed again one day.

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Kicker Returners

1) Montell Givens, ten - 1,070 yards
2) Torry Smith, bal - 1,003 yards
3) Javier Arenas, atl - 994 yards
4) De'Anthony Thomas, kc - 986 yards
5) Jeff Demps, az - 973 yards

COME ON MAN, RETURNER...

1) Dez Bryant, dal - 200 yards

The true king of our league is back. The Dez Bryant award has been claimed by non other the man himself, Dez Bryant. While he had his worst season ever returning kicks that is great for this particular award as it only shows why he should not be back returning the damn ball ever! Seriously you been on this list every season man, go draft a kick returner or sign a damn free agent to take his spot.

Super Bowl 2: Steelers 26 - Vikings 20

16k999e.png

Congratulations to BlackenedWop and the Pittsburgh Steelers for PTSL's second Super Bowl victory! The newest addition to our family defeated LongLiveAron's Minnesota Vikings in a thrilling 26-20 overtime victory. While Black might be new to our league the road to success was certainly deserved as he took down the AFC's top teams and the NFC's best this year in some dominant performances. After a successful post season run the target is painted on your back as the team to beat... best of luck to you in next years race!

On the behalf of everyone on our leagues staff, thank you for participating in another awesome season everyone! It was not without its fair share of drama towards the end but as a league we have proved yet again that we can overcome any issues and provide a friendly, fair and competitive league for our owners. I can not thank everyone enough for sticking with us and helping create an awesome madden community for the present and into the future.

S2 - TOP 5 Stats & C'Mon Man Nominations

2mrsm5f.png

Welcome to the Season 2 Top 5 Stat Leaders and C'MON MAN Nominations!

This is my personal list of league leaders during season 2 and should not be taken as an insult to anyone. Most of these players have been ripped straight out of the top of the stats book while others are my very own selections who I feel are worthy. Players listed in the Come on Man area are under-performers who should of put together better numbers last season. With that being said let us begin!

Top 5 QB's

1) Robert Griffin III, was - 4,814 yards for 42 touchdowns and 29 int's
2) Teddy Bridgewater, min - 3,897 yards for 32 touchdowns and 13 int's
3) Zac Dysert, cin - 4,116 yards for 24 touchdowns and 25 int's
4) Andrew Luck, ind - 3,371 yards for 39 touchdowns and 19 int's
5) E.J. Manuel, buf - 3,422 yards for 29 touchdowns and 23 int's

RG3 broke our single season passing yards record of 4,598 held by Carson Palmer in season one. Not only was RGJesus able to pass but also put up an extremely impressive 489 rushing yards with three touch downs on the ground. Equally impressive would be the season Zac Dysert put up for the Bengals, seriously who the hell is this mystery QB and why is he so damn good.

COME ON MAN, QUARTERBACK...

1) Ryan Nassib, chi - 3,100 yards for 17 touchdowns and 51 int's

Unfortunately our single season interception mark has also been broken. Last season Peyton Manning was the king of picks with 45... congrats Mr Nassib your career is most likely over because you enjoy throwing to the other team, COME ON MAN!

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 RB's

1) Carlos Hyde, sf - 1,602 yards and 10 td's
2) Justin Forsett, bal - 1,498 yards and 11 td's
3) Latavius Murray, oak - 1,469 yards and 8 td's
4) Joique Bell, det - 1,443 yards and 13 td's
5) Le'Veon Bell, pit - 1,431 yards and 16 td's

Carlos Hyde is the rushing king once again however he did not top last seasons rushing record. The only other name on from last season would be Le'Veon Bell who has also managed to crack into the top five two years in a row. This was a tight rushing title race with a total of twenty runners cracking the 1k barrier this season.

COME ON MAN, RUNNING BACK...

1) Marshawn Lynch, ne - 582 yards and 8 td's

It is hard to image the leading rusher for the Patriots being beast mode himself and only going for 582 yards in a single season. This guy is a cheat code just push the analog stick forward, COME ON MAN!

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 WR's

1) Johnnie Cross, phi - 1,967 yards and 20 td's
2) Odell Beckham Jr, nyg - 1,760 yards and 12 td's
3) Dez Bryant, dal - 1,564 yards and 15 td's
4) Bobby Bridges, was - 1,464 yards and 10 td's
5) Michael Floyd, ari - 1,256 yards and 18 td's

Johnnie Cross a rookie in our season 2 draft is leading the league in receiving yards and fell just short of six yards of owning our receiving yardage record period. Next time you play the Eagles it should not be a secret who is getting the ball, cover this dude! Our entire WR group is completely different from season one and Bobby Bridges joins Cross as another extremely talented rookie pulled from the draft.

COME ON MAN, WIDE RECEIVER...

1) Julius Thomas, sea - 490 yards and 4 td's

One of the best tightends in the game and were looking at a such an extremely low yard and touchdown total. This is the Seattle Seahawks you have no receivers why are you not shoving the ball down this mans throat... COME ON MAN!

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Tacklers

1) Brandon Spikes, ten - 100
2) Lavonte David, tb - 95
3) Devin McCourty, ne - 94
4) Luke Kuechly, car - 92
5) Bobby Wagner, sea - 88

Lavonte David is the only repeat name from last season and overall it appears tackles were down this season. Tackle leader Brandon Spikes fell eleven short of smashing the record and is most likely the only bright spot in a sea of sorrow in Tenneese.

COME ON MAN, TACKLER...

1) J.J. Watt, hou - 25 tackles

Huston we have a problem. What the hell is going on out there? Superman himself plays on your team and he only racked up total of 25 tackles? Get this that was on top of five sacks, one forced fumble and zero picks. Seriously hit the square button, COME ON MAN!

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Sacks

1) Connor Barwin, phi - 23 sacks
2) Steve McLendon, pit - 15 sacks
3) Calais Campbell, ari - 14 sacks
4) Anthony Spencer, dal - 13 sacks
5) Nick Perry, gb - 13 sacks

Gerald McCoy is frowning somewhere right now as his previous sack record of 14 has been broken or tied by three different players. No one knows what drugs Connor Barwin is on but it will be near impossible for his 23 sack season to be broken anytime soon. As a whole sacks were up this season compared to last. Major kudos to Anthony "not shitty anymore" Spencer cracking this list with 13 sacks.

COME ON MAN, SACKS...

1) Terrell Suggs, bal - 1 sack

Oh what a down year in general for the Ravens Terrell Suggs. Once known as a elite line backer not only did he manage just one sack but he was virtually unspectacular in all areas on the field. It seems the only good he is for these days is his three or so tackles a game... COME ON MAN!

------------------------------------------------

TOP 5 INTERCEPTIONS

1) Deone Bucannon, ari - 16 picks
2) James Laurinaitis, nyg - 14 picks
3) Dontavis Rock, buf - 13 picks
4) Antone Exum Jr, min - 12 picks
5) Eric Berry, kc - 10 picks

Deone Bucannon has broke his interception record again this season, last season he set the high of 13 and smashed it with 16 picks. James Laurinaitis has to be the single most surprsing name on this list, from the middle linebacker postion he nabbed a total of 14 balls, thats crazy! Joined by fellow rookie linebacker Dontavis Rock these two going to have to be feared over the middle for a long time to come.

COME ON MAN, INTERCEPTIONS...

1) Jairus Byrd - 3 picks

While not a complete dud Mr Byrd was able to make up for his lack of picks in other areas of the game. However when your rated in the elite atmosphere and your only picking off 3 interceptions in a season we have problems. Is your trangle button stuck, COME ON MAN!

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Kickers

1) Caleb Sturgis, mia - 35 of 35 field goals with a long of 59
2) Justin Tucker, bal - 26 of 32 field goals with a long of 49
3) Nick Folk, nyj - 25 of 33 field goals with a long of 57
4) Greg Zurelein, stl - 23 of 28 field goals with a long of 53
5) Sebastian Janikowski, oak - 23 of 25 field goals with a long of 51

It is a little known fact Caleb Sturgis enjoyed dipping his big toe across a line of coke before game days. While he came one field goal shy of having a tie with Greg Zurelein's field goals made record... he was a perfect 100% on the field.

COME ON MAN, KICKER...

1) Carson Mason, no - 14 of 23 with a long of 56

Alright buddy you got the leg thats for sure. Problem is you need to start aiming, 60% field goal rate... COME ON MAN!

------------------------------------------------

Top 5 Kicker Returners

1) Jeff Demps, az - 1,499 yards
2) Percy Harvin, nyj - 1,323 yards
3) Javier Arenas, atl - 1,064 yards
4) Devin Hester, atl - 896 yards
5) Salim Faulk, phi - 844 yards

COME ON MAN, RETURNER...

1) Dez Bryant, dal - 281 yards

You did not learn your lesson last year huh Dez? YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. Let us make it crystal clear this year, you are an elite wide receiver what the hell are you doing boy. Worst part is you could not even break your own record in return yardage of 350... COME ON MAN! It sucks to suck at something huh Dez?

S2: Recent Coach firings and leavings

As usual this time of year brings up trouble within a madden league. Due to schedules or plain old drama a total of four users were let go on 3/25/15. With that being said I would like to explain the dismissals since it is a unusually high number in one day.

Cardinals (remmsterr) - Given a friendly warning for violating rules; 1.0 (repetitive play calling) and 1.1 (hot routes). Instead of accepting the problem and fixing it, he decided to turn yet another issue into a high school drama act. After deflecting and blaming multiple other teams for breaking rules, refusing to change his play style and threatening to leave the league I made the decision to boot him. Since day one Remmsterr has been pushing our rules to the limit and seems to be the center of nearly all drama. He is a cool dude but overly sensitive to nearly everything that is said and done. We thank him for helping us get to where we are today but we have no place for the above in our league.

Raiders (regginal5) - Unfortunately one of our most liked users slammed the door shut on us unexpectedly a few days after this original posting. After giving him a solid six extra hours for his playoff match to get played some of our users caught him in a lie of why he could not play earlier in the day. Instead of just moving on he must of been seriously embarrassed as he decided to drop from the leave. However he did not fall short of leaving a few presents on the way out the door as he dropped multiple key starting players such as Derek Carr and Khalil Mack to name a few. This is the ultimate low in any madden community and he has found his name on the daddyleagues warning list for his actions.

Steelers (piffsburgh22) - Has been slowly fading away for a few weeks due to a lack of interest in madden to focus on MLB the show. After hearing the news remmsterr was booted he left the building. Cool dude but again one that drama seemed to get to. Thanks for your dedication for two seasons!

Dolphins (rippedtoast) - A heavy life schedule and a needed break from madden will send one of our better users on the sidelines. Ripped has been nothing but a class act in our league from day one and it will be sad to see him go. He is welcome back next season or anytime at all in the future when he feels he is able to dedicate time to madden again.

Chargers (oneeyedmaple) - Unfortunately our latest chargers owner was just a bad recruit that never worked out for us. After missing multiple games and avoiding contact with our league he was booted.

We will begin the search to replace these owners as soon as possible. The Cardinals have already been replaced and I hope to get the Steelers filled before the playoffs begin. I know this has never been an issue before with anyone I have talked to outside of Remmsterr but after a match if I give you a friendly warning do not take it to heart personally. I have talked to people before about any issues that might have popped up and they were resolved without suspensions or kickings. The staff is extremely open and easy to get along with and we thank everyone for playing within our rules.

Good luck if your in the playoffs and if not see you in the offseason.

Season 2, my draft big board

How do you guys think it turned out? In my opinion it was pretty damn accurate in all areas.

Super Bowl 1: Cardinals 28 - Colts 14

28hej5l.jpg

Congratulations to Remmsterr and the Arizona Cardinals for the first ever PTSL Super Bowl VICTORY! It was a run of dominance that was ultimatley claimed over the Indianapolis Colts who represented the AFC well. Remmsterr and his Cardinals put up mind boggling numbers his during his first campaign that were comparable to a real NFL roster. With only one loss this season undoubtly we all will be all targeting him as the team to beat, until then enjoy the great victory Arizona!

For everyone involved in Season 1 of Primetime Sim League, I would personally like to thank each of you. It is not easy to get 32 people organized on the same page but we were able to do so with ease. Our staff hopes you will all continue to have interest in our league as we move into season 2 and beyond. We have a great core group of owners here and I wish you all luck as we move into the offseason stage.
