The Houston Texans Enter this Week 6 Bye Week at 0-5 off to a horrible start and the schedule only gets tougher from here. While there are some bright spots and some good things to look forward to in the future the fact of the matter is this team is not a threat right now and idk if they can be this season.
First lets look at the team stats and where they rank so far thru 5 games and also highlight some key players.
Offense: 15ppg/30th 278.6ypg/25th 180.4pyards/26th 98.2rypg/23rd turnovers 32/32nd
This has been a major problem this team cant get anything going on offense a combination of horrible line play and poor play calling, and HORRINDUS qb play has led to 32 turnovers in 5 games thats gotta be some kind of record but if this team wants to win any games at all this year this has to end NOW!. Coach mayweather has vowed to make drastic changes to the playcalling coming out of the bye week and said "if were gonna lose fine but losing with 5 turnovers a game is not acceptable and i apologize to all the fans out there.. We will be better"!!
Defense: 29ppg/23rd 246ypg/1st 156.4pypg/2nd 89.6rypg/8th
The biggest suprise for this team has been the defense, the points are high but that is mainly because they have been on the field 32 extra times so far this season. When not given a short field to work with they have shined flying to the ball and getting pressure on the qb. I dont know how long they can continue to play at this level thru out the season but my hat off to them so far and one can only imagine what the season could look like with a compatint offense.
Looking forward to the rest of the season they need to give saquon the rock more and more and more. After only 17 yards in week 1 he has picked it up with 4 straight 100 yard games. Qb geno smith despite the 4 picks actually looked good when not throwing to the other team as he was 20-28 for 196 but we have to take care of the ball, take sacks and incompletions.
Will this team put toghether a couple victories and get back into things or are we alrealdy on the clock. Time will tell
The Houston Texans took the field hype believing this was the day that they would get thier first victory.. and if the game was only 5 mins long they would have accomplished jus that. but unfurnaally you have to play 4 quarters and the texans arent a team caple of doing that at the moment. Once again the texans Defense (ranked 7th in the league) shined allowing only 190 yards on to the charger offense, 60 coming on one blown coverage. But the offense failed to capatalize time and time again. The QB situation is catastophic right now and with an injured Line there is no telling if this is as bad as it gets.
The texans fought hard and saquan ran hard behind a make shift line. The only reason to watch this team right now is for the defense once they get the ball i suggest you change the channel.
They will look to get a victory on the board next week against divisional rival Jackonville.
The Houston Texans were defeated in Denver by the score of 38-32.
The game started out rough with the texans unable to do anything on offense with Davis Mills under Center and the broncos came out red hot and were up 25-0 before the texans decided to start playing. The texan defense played really well and picked off Chef Wilson 5 times (mmmmm turnovers) including 2 from rookie John Pitre. On offense the team got a spark from kyle allen who connected with odell beckham for a big touchdown. also saquon got going today and finished with 117 yards.
The Killer in the game for houston was the poor redzone offense. The saddest thing ive ever seen as they had 3 picks put them in position to score inside the 10 yardline and walked away with -7 points from it with 2 missed BUNNY fgs and a pick 6. Even with all that this team had a chance down 35-32 with jus over a minute left when an onside kick bounced off a bronco player into on our hands but couldnt hold on to it and the broncos finished the job.
Next week we head to Chiraq to take on the bears who jus dropped 50 on the packers so we better be ready.
Kyle Allen has been announced as the Starter going forward as he has produced the only points for the team this season.
Gonna be a long season but we fight to improve every game and we will be better Texan Nation thats a PROMISE!!!!!!!!!

Well week 1 is in the books for our Houston Texans. It was a sad showing by the offense and it looks as if our line will be bullied all season long. Davis Mills was benched in the 4th quarter for Kyle Allen after posting a stat line of 8/19 for 85 yards and 4 picks. New Reciever Odell Becham had an ok game with 83 yards but deff did not help his qb on a Very poor effort on a comeback and a slant as 2 of davis mills intercetpions came while targeting Beckham. The running game was non existant also with Saquon only able to muster 18 yrds on 13 carries but not for lack of effort as he was breaking tackles left and right but could not get past the line of scrimmage on most runs with 2 and 3 ppl in backfield as he recieves the ball.
The defense did look very good in my eyes apart from 2 long runs for taylor they held thier own and only allowed 1 offensive touchdown while forcing 2 turnovers. JPP was active in the backfield with 3 TFLs and look to have his step back a little bit. Ultimalty the defense effort was wasted because the offense couldnt do anything really.
They look to get on track in week 2 against Russell Wilson and Broncos Country.

The Houston Texans have been stuck in rebuilding mode for what seems like forever. With a couple seasons in between that gave fans hope only to be torn down by poor managment and questionable off feild decisions by players. After a poor season last year the team set out to do things different. Purchased by Ryan Wright he quickly went outside the box naming Floyd Mayweather Jr the GM/Coach saying "we will put football ppl around him but he is a winner first and thats what this ORG need is some winners around here."
Offense Preview-
This offseason Owner Ryan and Gm Floyd set out to bring in playmakers where avaiable. Firs was the Signing of Odell Becham Jr. who brings a bigtime weapon oppisite of Brandin Cooks for one of the best 1-2 downfield combos in the NFL on paper. Next they went out and signed TE Jared Cook who along with OJ howard are two very Physicall Gifted tight ends looking to prove they still have it at a High Level. Lastely they brought in HB Saquan Barkley in what looks to be a steal of a deal. Barkley is healthy and has looked explosive outta the backfield in practice and another weapon for davis mills to lean on. That brings us to the questions on offense. Is davis mills that guy or jus a place holder for the year with the team having massive draft capital to make something happen after the year or can Davis mills Prove he is a starter quality for a team with plenty of weapons and that would allow the front office to improve the HORRIBLE offensive line in offseason? only time will tell but davis will have every oppruntinty possible this year to show what he's got.
Defensive Preview:
This texan defense is going through a scheme change and i can see it being a very trying year on this side of the ball. They brought in some veteran guys to mix with young talent. Additions like Jason Pierre Paul and N. Suh could regain some of their form that once made them all pro players and this team could have a decent defense with a young athelitic secondary or they could show their age and the texans could be giving up 40 on a weekly basis
Season Prediction:
My prediction for the texan team is that they will fight hard in what will be a tough division. I see them getting blown out but not for lack of effort as they will jus be overpowered alot esp against teams with good Defensive lines.
Final pediction 6-11
I see this team looking for a new qb in the draft next year and using its abundance of cap space to keep guys like OBJ and Barkley happy untill they find their QB of Future
