Bomber put the entire league on notice with his big win over the Bucs but will he continue his success against an up and coming and INTERESTED Titans squad? ~ NYT

Seattle Seahawks (3-4) vs Philadelphia Eagles (2-5)

Indianapolis Colts (6-1) vs Atlanta Falcons (3-4)

Coop and the Titans are looking to continue building on thier momentum after a huge upset win over the Colts last week, The Texans will look to end their 4 game slide and they've proven they have what it takes to win some games with a win over the Jags and a 1 point loss to the Colts. ~ Meats

Meats: Chiefs
Atlanta Falcons (3-4) vs Houston Texans (2-5)
Two of SMLs longest tenured members (even tho Koopa left us for MBL and Xbox) are going at it this week. Lawyer is coming off a straight up ass whooping where he only put 2 points on the board and Koopa just traded away JJ Watt so his defense will somehow get worse.
NYT: Falcons
Meats: Falcons
Jacksonville Jaguars (5-1) vs New Orleans Saints (2-5)
Bomber has been hot lately, maybe the hottest team in the SML? (OGs remember) and Colt has stated he doesnt know how to play this game anymore. Meats and I agree Bomber comes out on top this week.

Meats: Football Team
New England Patriots (2-4) vs Las Vegas Raiders (5-1)
When giving me his picks for this week Meats said "Future is BACK" so he'll be taking the Las Vegas Ginn and Juice over the Pats and Drew Lock. Matt is intent on throwing his season away by forcing Drew Lock to throw and it wont end well.

NYT: Giants
Meats: Eagles
Football Team (3-2) vs Rams (3-2)
Another potential playoff match-up that puts the user formerly known as the new guy against RD and Tua who are coming off a 52 point showing against the Seahawks. The Football Team had a nice win over a NFC powerhouse last week with a 34-19 win over Fazz and the Vikings. This is another game that could set up to be a preview of the NFC playoffs.
NYT: Rams
Meats: WFT
Browns (4-0) vs Titans (1-3)
The Browns are the Cinderella story of the season so far. Loaded with a new QB and loads of defensive talent Woods has been dominating the SML, is it too early to say he may be the AFC favorite? Yes but the Browns are playing out of their minds. The Titans have been in just about every game this season and are due to breakthrough and shock a top tier player. Could this be the week? NYT thinks so. Its time to #TITANUP Coop.

Broncos (4-0) vs Patriots (2-3)
Super Bowl runner up Danhe and his dangerous Broncos team could have fallen from the ranks of the unbeaten this week against Matt and his patient run game, however Matt has sworn to get Drew Lock developed. see ya in week 3, bitches.
The Giants sputtered out of the starting blocks this season, going 0-2 and losing by a combined score of 82-27. The Giants defense aged a bit in the off season but interim turned full time Head Coach Lawrence Taylor thought the offense needed more help going into the draft and free agency.
The team has struck a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to acquire LB Lavonte David. Moving David saves the Bucs 11 million in cap space that they are now free to apply to other areas of needs. The Giants send DE Dalvin Tomlinson and a 3rd round pick for David in the hopes of sparking their defense and helping dig out of the 1-2 hole.
David is flying to the team facilities to take a physical and meet with the Giants coaching staff, they will decide if he will play this evening (9:30pm est VS Washington) or sit and wait until week 5.
After a crushing defeat to the Chicago Bears in the NFC Championship game, the Giants looked to the draft to add some weapons and depth to the team.
Heres a breakdown of the 2020 Draft class.
Round 1 Pick 30: LT Adrian Bates: Bates is a big tackle (6’6 324) out of Georgia Tech, most projected him as a project tackle and he even had an “undrafted grade”. Many believe the Giants had their sights set on another player who was snatched right before their pick. Bates boasts a 81 run block rating and 80 run blocking power, Bates is projected as a backup at this point in his career (Pick Grade: D)
Round 2 Pick 30: QB Parker Goldman, TCU: A surprising pick intbe second roand as QB wasn’t a huge need for the Giants but Dejuan Sheilds failed to move the ball without Saquan in the NFC title game, Goldman will enter camp as the QB3 but a strong preseason may sway the Giants brass into starting the rookie signal caller (Pick Grade: A-)
Round 3 Pick 30: CB Daniel Kilgo, NC State: Kilgo was the highest rated player left on the board at this point so the Giants pulled the trigger on the Zone specialist from NC State. Lacking top end speed he projects to play a utility role in his rookie season, the giants may want to explore playing him as a safety. (Pick Grade: B)
Round 4 Pick 30: Traded to Buffalo for DE Jerry Hughes
Round 5 Pick 30: LG Alexander Zietler, LSU: A Pass blocking guard who projects to start for the Giants. Immediate upgrade. (Pick Grade: B)
Round 6 Pick 30: HB Long Scott, Southern Arkansas: Scott is not a threat to take Saquan Barkley’s job but he provides depth and versatility to the Giants offense of Saquan gets injured again or needs a spell. Good speed/accel combo with good spin and juke ratings, Scott should sit behind Wayne Gallman as the teams 3rd RB (Pick Grade: B-)
Round 7 Pick 30: WR Irvin Sintim, Boise State: We were told before the draft that Sintims father was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan and named his son Irvin after Hall of Famer Michael Irvin. Pops may not be a fan of the team but he loves that his son was selected as he had a undrafted grade by most scouts. Sintim boasts 93 speed, agility and kick return. He projects as the teams opening day kick returner but maybe called on in certain situations on offense (Pick Grade: C+)
While the fans may not be completely thrilled with the teams draft class, the Giants organization are high on them and are excited to see how they play a part in getting back to the NFC title game, and possibly the Super Bowl.
The New York Giants will make the playoffs as a wildcard team. The team has reeled off 9 straight wins since Coach Lawrence Taylor took the helm.
The regular season finale was a back and forth battle with the 4-11 Detroit Lions but the Giants were able to hold off a late surge and win the game 31-28.
Much of the Giants success is due to MVP Canidate Saquan Barkely and his 1,901 rushing yards and 27 total touchdowns.
The Giants will likely be on the road for their entire playoff run and are looking to bring out the “road warrior” mentality.
In week 11 the Giants took on the division rival Washington Redskins in a battle that would see each team score multiple times in the first quarter but the Giants broke away late in the 3rd quarter and never looked back.
The Giants had two players named Player of the Week.
HB Saquan Barkley took home his second weekly award (week 1) his stat line was 14 carries 155 yards 2 touchdowns and also added 5 receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown
On the other side of the ball, SS Landon Collins took home the honors with a 8 tackle 2 INT, 1 Sack and 1 TD stat line.
The team will welcome the Vikings in to MetLife stadium Monday Dec 10 at 8:15est in a battle of NFC Heavyweights!
Head coach Lawrence Taylor started his coaching career on the right path with a convincing win over the Buffalo Bills in week 8.
The Giants offense showed up big putting multiple touchdown drives together but the defense also showed out with multiple sacks, interceptions (one returned for 6) and forced fumbles.
The player of the game was QB Dejuan Shields who threw for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns while not turning the ball over once.
The Giants are on a bye week in week 9 but will be preparing for the 6-1 Chicago Bears in week 10.
Prior to the teams game this weekend the Giants have acquired defensive end Jerry Highes from the Buffalo Bills.
Head coach Lawrence Taylor made it known pass rush is his specialty and although he loves the depth on this roster he said “You can never have too many dogs to go hunt that QB”
Hughes is 31 years old and in the final year of his contract so he will be auditioning for the Giants and 30 other NFL teams as he looks to continue his career.
Compensation returning to the Bills is a 4th round draft pick in the upcoming draft.
Hughes will suit up this week against his former team as the Giants play in Buffalo this weekend.
New York Giant great Lawrence Taylor has been named head coach of the team
Taylor is the 18th head coach in team history, and the 7th former Giants player to take that role.
”I am here to return this franchise to glory, we will not tolerate weak minds or negative attitudes.” Taylor was quoted saying in his introductory press conference.
When asked what his defensive philosophy and scheme would be he replied “We’re gonna do what ive always done; get after the quarterback and knock heads off.”
Taylor’s first game as head man will be this Saturday at 6pm est as the Giants travel to Buffalo for a matchup with the 1-5 Bills
