Here Come The Rams

After seeing a 10-6 season and still missing the playoffs again, Rams fans demanded new leadership for their team. The LA ownership group obliged and came to a one year contract term with Headstrong to take full leadership over the Rams. Many diehard Rams fans are ecstatic on this new direction as the Headstrong and his staff bring a competitive edge in both roster management and coaching. Our team at the LA Gazette took a minute to sit down and ask Headstrong a few questions: Rams Gazette – “Headstrong, many around the league were puzzled by this hire, what can you tell us that will calm the nerves of the only on Sunday fans?” Headstrong – “Well, I had retired recently after a 40+ season run in a competing league and was really just enjoying life before I got the urge to compete again. Shortly after, this Rams opening within Destiny sort of just fell in my lap. My experience alone should speak for itself as I have extensive experience in running a team in the front and back-office fans should expect a competitive team to show up every week. I’ve been a perennial contender with prior teams and hope this one year run with the Rams will be no different” Rams Gazette – “Taking over an organization you didn’t build yourself can be challenging, do you see any changes in the near future?” Headstrong – “Change in inevitable. I am used to completely building my team from scratch, pick by pick, in a full league draft. So even a team that has so many stars like the Rams is going to see some changes to fit to my own style. I am a huge fan of Todd Gurley. If there was one player I’d have to keep, I’d say it would have to be Todd. However, I am only in a one-year contract, so I don’t expect to completely change the team. Even still, I am negotiating deals as we speak to help put my own stamp on this LA team. Lets hope this year leads to another long term deal. Rams Gazette – “Our scouts found that you don’t really put an emphasis on defensive line and love coverage linebackers. This team was built to win games in the trenches led by Aaron Donald. How is your relationship with your star defensive lineman. Headstrong – “Look – Donald is the best defensive lineman in the league. Hands down. While I prefer a team centered around linebackers, our front line is amazing. It is so versatile with multiple looks. Aaron and I will work together to try and have one of the best defenses in the league. I expect so much from him as I look to him to be the captain of the team. I must apologize, I am headed to a team meeting and need to cut this interview short. “ Stay tuned next time on the Rams Gazette
