About the XFA:

The XFA has been going strong for nearly a decade, having started with Madden on the PC and transitioning into consoles once that became the only option. Today, we are one of the premier Xbox One leagues for those who prefer an alternative rules structure that emphasizes strategy over pushing “sim” to absurd levels. We play for real football strategy rather than any form of cheese.

A few of our most important rules:

No switching of the user-controlled player is allowed while the ball is in the air. If you want to be a stick jockey like that, the XFA is not for you.

On defense, you may only control a D-Lineman or linebacker according to what their play is called and should not go for user-picks. If you only have fun from getting cheap interceptions, the XFA is not for you.

Play calling must be realistic and diverse in nature, on both sides of the ball. If you only know how to run a handful of money plays, the XFA is definitely not for you.

If you want to play great, fun, and fair football with excellent people, though, the XFA would love to have you!

We started the league today, and have had a few no-shows. The following teams are now open if anyone is interested:
