After a shoot out win vs the Ravens, the Texans dropped a pair to league bottom feeders 3-13 Saints and 4-12 Titans.Then came time for an ass chewing on the defensive side of the ball and Houston went on a defensive tear, defeating the Raiders 41-13,Browns 41-0, and Panthers 37-10. The battle of Houston went the Texans way defeating the Oilers 27-14. Next up was another chance to take the division away from the Jags and new owner Skills after Hater went bankrupt from gambling debts and sold the Jags only to be killed by the Itailian mafia.A one point loss all but sealed the deal for the Texans as a wc team.Houston would win their last 3 to set up a rematch with the Raiders in the playoffs. Keenum ended the season with 3590 yds 38 tds- 18 ints and 116 rating. Arian Foster lead rushers with 1458 yds and 13 tds. Andre Johnson lead all receivers with 73 receptions for 1381  yds and 15 tds. JJ Watt lead the 2nd rated defense with 15 sacks Brian Cushing lead the team in tackles and Ints 62 and 7.After trading Ed Reed and going with 2nd year safety DJ Swearinger he responded with 61 tackles and 4 ints.
