The battle of Houston went the Texans way defeating the Oilers 27-14. Next up was another chance to take the division away from the Jags and new owner Skills after Hater went bankrupt from gambling debts and sold the Jags only to be killed by the Itailian mafia.A one point loss all but sealed the deal for the Texans as a wc team.Houston would win their last 3 to set up a rematch with the Raiders in the playoffs.
