This is a "GM League" we don't play the actual games, we simulate them.
24 hour advance: Every Day (9pm est) unless all games are streamed.
You must show your playbook in the startup screen before starting your game. Make sure to have streams saving on twitch to avoid any issues. You may not use custom or live playbooks, only the stock 32 playbooks, this includes the west coast, run heavy etc.. Sadly, it gives an advantage and the person on ap is unable to use them so we have to stick to the base 32 books.
You are not allowed to Fast-Sim without permission from your opponent and a CM.

Negative wheel occurs every 2-3 seasons where something drastically bad will occur to your team. This is done through an rng wheel and everyone spins it to add some adversity to team building.
Positive/negative scenarios, these occur in season and vary, some are double edged and others are one or the other.
Trades:
Newly signed free agents or traded for players, cannot be traded in their first year. Rookies can traded
Finally, if two teams agree to a trade verbally and submit for approval, they are bound by that trade. Even if a better offer comes there after, you must keep the original trade agreement.
Authentic Contracts with Maximum 4 year Contract Re-signings:
Since Madden 23 didn’t fix contracts, we will. Regularly in Madden, users will re-sign nearly every young prospect/star they have to maximum 7 year deals at lowest possible dollar amount. It’s unrealistic, so if a player asks for longer than 4 years, you must show proof.
Must have proof of the very friendly offer and posted in bitching if it’s over 4 years.
Also if a team has little to no cap, and they resign a player to an unrealistically low deal, we will edit it as a “franchise tag,” or edit so you can cut and they can go to FA
Free Agency
Random Advances will happen in a 2-3 hour window (TBD) to avoid sniping during FA phase.
For Free Agency at the start of each season, each team may sign one UDFA. Unlimited vets.
We will stop at PSW1, PSW2, PSW3 for 10 minutes each following the draft.
If you offer anything over 4 years, like the very friendly option. You must submit the bid for whatever it is. So if it’s 6-135, you cannot add more money or years to that very friendly option. 4 years is the maximum year total if you intend to offer max contract amount.
Draft:
You may only have three first round picks, per draft, at any given time.
We follow the 2+1 rule for the slug draft. 2 hours to respond plus another hour if needed, at that time you risk being skipped. Trades of picks must be made within this time frame, as well.
Cut/Resign:
If you release someone during the Preseason, Regular season, or Playoffs you have to wait two advances (two real life days) until you can resign them. Example, if you cut in week 3 then you can’t resign until week 5.
Position Changes:
Users may now edit their own players except for QB during the offseason and preseason, once week one begins, all changes are locked in. You are not limited to position changes, number edits, or other cosmetics. You must still abide by all position edit restrictions though.
Roster/Position Requirements:
53 players on roster
2 QBs, cannot edit qbs, and cannot change throwing motion
3 RB/FB combined
8 Offensive Lineman
Must meet all roster requirements without Madden's assistance.
Must be under the salary cap all season long.
Size/Attribute Thresholds Required:
OL position allowed to swap positions.
No WR->RB, WR->TE, or TE -> WR.
3-4 DEs and Defensive Tackles 275 pounds and cannot be pass rush DT, DT or interior rush spots, unless above or exactly 275 pounds unless they were drafted as a DT. The 3-4 DEs cannot be under 275 pounds.
DE/OLB for 4-3/3-4 allowed freely.
CBs -> Safety is allowed
Safety -> CB is allowed
SubLB rules for safeties, cannot use a safety faster than 90 speed
Punter<->Kicker is not allowed.

Communication
We use Discord. Takes two minutes to sign up. "Culture Rule" Comments that could be perceived as unkind, as well as negative conversational style and tone is something we work very hard to eliminate from our league. Be very mindful of your conversational style and tone, and keep it kind, respectful, and positive at all times. (Except friendly trash talk). Be kind and respectful and help us build a great community and culture. Reply to all DM’s within 24 hours.
Abilities:
Abilities can be edited during the offseason and preseason only.
You may only have one of each of the following abilities on your roster:
Lumberjack, Route Technician, Grab and Go, Inside Stuff (DL/edge must be 90 overall), Acrobat, edge protector, edge threat/elite, double or nothing, Pick artist, and One Step Ahead.
Gambit, protected, Avalanche, and enforcer are banned abilities
The following ability combos are banned:
One step ahead and pick artist
Edge threat and double/nothing
You must comply with all of the ability limits and rules at all times. If you acquire a player that pushes you over a limit midseason, that’ll need edited. If your rookie unlocks an ability that he doesn’t have the minimum requirements for or pushes over the limits listed above, that too will need edited.
Content awards and AP/AR:
We offer boosts for doing content, can Include memes, team write ups, pod casts, funny integrating stories, and anything league related. The boosts usually consist of tears and typically a “dragon.” The dragon gives a +15-18 attributes boost and star dev or trait. The more immersive and well done content, the better tier you will end in within a season cycle.
All pro and all rookie teams receive trait boosts and decided by a team of people reviewing the stats each season.
