THE BILL BELICHICK AWARD

(Most wins during regular season)

 

Broncos (Montazuu)

 

In Season 1...Montazuu finished with the most wins on the season with 16 total.


 

THE CFL AWARD

(Fewest wins during regular season)

 

Saints (Madnaiss)

 

In Season 1, Madnaiss finished with a regular season record of 0-17, the worst record in Primer.


 

THE TANK AWARD

(Award for the team that performed the most below expectations during the regular season)

 

Browns (Sherm)

 

RIP Sherm, but in any league this year the Browns were selected with high expectations to play well and compete during Season 1. Sherm finished 29th overall in the league with a record of 3-14 (Yes I know he wasn’t here all season but there is no one else who I feel is eligible for this award).


 

THE MARV LEVY AWARD

(A dominant regular season performance but no luck in the playoffs award)

 

Packers (Fink)

 

Fink finished the season dominating the NFC North with a 11-6 record to only get smacked in the playoffs losing to Jonesy by 17 points 38-21.


 

THE BRICK SHITHOUSE AWARD

(THE DUMP AWARD)

(Best offensive team in the league based on total yards)

 

Packers (Fink)

 

Fink dominated this season on offense producing 7092 total yards of offense, finishing 286 yards above the closest opponent. 


 

THE PEYTON MANNING AWARD

(Most passing yards during regular season)

 

Seahawks (Rice)

 

Rice led the league in passing this season with 5081 total yards. 81 more yards than the closest opponent.


 

THE ERIC DICKERSON AWARD

(Most rushing yards during regular season)

 

Bears (Kav1k)

 

Kavik led the league in total rushing yards with 2438 total, 214 yards more than the closest opponent.


 

THE JOHN FOX AWARD

(Highest scoring team during regular season)

Spades led the league in scoring averaging 40.8 PPG, 3.0 PPG more than the closest opponent. 


 

THE DAN MARINO AWARD

(Most touchdown passes thrown during regular season)

Montazuu & Fink led the league in total passing touchdowns on the season with 55 total, 3 more than the next closest opponent.

Fink threw to WR Davante Adams for 2149 yards in Season 1, 301 more yards than Rice threw to his WR D.K. Metcalf  who finished second in total receiving yards.

Fink’s WR Davante Adams led the league in total touchdown receptions with 28 total, 6 more than the next closest opponent.


 

THE STEEL CURTAIN AWARD

Dolphins (Strawblacks)

 

Strawblacks finished the season with the best defense in Primer allowing only 4593 total yards on defense. Strawblacks edged out Warrior, who finished second with 4741 total yards given up on the season. 


 

THE MARVIN LEWIS AWARD

Vikings (Nice)

 

Nice gave up the fewest amount of points on defense on the season with only 309 (18.2 PPG) total, 17 points less than the next closest opponent.


 

THE BUDDY RYAN AWARD

(Most total defensive team sacks during the regular season)

 

Broncos (Montazuu)

 

Montazuu led the entire league in defensive sacks with 43 total, 6 more than the next closest opponent.

Sun led the league in total interceptions on defense with 55 total, 7 more than the next closest opponent.

Nice led the league in fewest interceptions thrown with only 14 total, 3 less than the next closest opponent.

Sun led the league in total takeaways on defense with 64 total, 3 more than the next closest opponent.

Now this really isn’t fair because DJ took over this team late in the season, but it is what it is. DJ gained the fewest yards on offense this season with only 3299 total, 93 yards less than the next closest opponent.


 

THE POLISHED TURD AWARD

(Lowest scoring offense during the regular season)

Once again, not fair to put the blame on him, but DJ’s Lions team he took over late during the season had the lowest scoring offense in the league averaging 15.8 PPG, 1.5 PPG less than the next closest opponent. 


 

THE SWISS CHEESE AWARD

(Most total defensive yards given up during the regular season)

 

Saints (Madnaiss)

 

Madnaiss had an awful year giving up the most yards in the league on defense with 6916 total (406.8 YPG). That awful showing on defense beat out the next closest opponent by 495 yards.


 

THE DOORMAT OF THE YEAR AWARD

(Most points given up on defense during the regular season)

 

Saints (Madnaiss)

 

Madnaiss gave up the most points on defense in the league with 685 total on the season (40.3 PPG). The next closest opponent gave up 625 total points (36.8).

Feel bad picking on the guy again, but DJ’s team he took over late in the season had the fewest amount of sacks in the league with only 14 total, 1 less than the next closest opponent.
