2020 Super Bowl Sleeper Pick:
Buffalo Bills
Ding Dong the witch is dead. Which witch? The Brady witch. We will see which (ok that’s enough) way the Patriots go with Cam Newton under center and one of the most successful head coaches of all time still in charge, but the expectation is that the Patriots will simply not be the same threat this year.
Enter the Buffalo Bills. Even with the g.o.a.t in their division, they put together their first 10-win season in two decades and became a post-season team. The expectation now is even higher since the division title no longer has to go through a Tom Brady led team.
Meanwhile, the addition of wide receiver Sefon Diggs will drastically change the options Josh Allen has on the field as he will certainly draw double-teams and loosen up the box for the running game. This new weapon not only ensures a more efficient and point-producing offense, but it helps take the pressure off of the strength of the team, the defense. The bills defense finished second in the NFL in points allowed with the likes of Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson, so 17-3 victories could be commonplace for this team as they make their super bowl run.
