  1. LV Raiders
    Pick: QB – Shane Overbay

Reason: The Raiders come in late into this cycle with a pretty explosive team but lacking in OL and in a strong armed QB. Overbay is this year LeClair.  I like him.  I think the Raiders have a lot of options here, but they want the strong arm of Overbay over noodle arm Purdy

  1. Miami Dolphins (via Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Pick: WR – Dom Radley

Reason:  I was down between Benedict and Radley from the beginning, when I was supposed to be drafting #1.  It'll still come down to those two.  Hill retiring makes me lean Radley but Benedict is looking like a monster.

  1. New England Patriots

Pick: CB – Pierre Benedict

Reason: I don't know what the Patriots are going to do.  I talked to them last night, they said they aren't looking at Benedict, but I reinforced my feelins on Benedict to him.  I could see them trading back and someone getting Benedict that didn't think they had a shot at.  But, Benedict should be in the top 3.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers

Pick: QB – Russ Daniels

Reason: Are the Steelers asleep behind the wheel?  You let a rare talent like Mouton walk?  Is there someone better in FA?  Someone better in the draft?  They really should be addressing the Pass Rush, but I don't think that's going to happen at this point.

  1. Minnesota Vikings

Pick: OLB – Johnny Sprinkle

Reason: I'm hearing rumors that they may trade out.  This team is top tier as well, but a season where the coach needed some much needed time away, the Vikings aren't the perenial team as of this writing.  If the Vikings stay at 5, they should sprinkle the pass rush.

  1. Baltimore Ravens

Pick: MLB – Enrique Lewis

Reason: If I remember correctly, the Ravens run a 34.  They did grab Amos last year, so maybe they won't jump on Lewis.  But, I think this could be the guy to help stop the run with a newly brought in DT in front of him

  1. Philadelphia Eagles (via New Orleans Saints)

Pick: QB – Kevin Wright

Reason: I'm not even going to bother.  You traded the QB, we know what the pick is going to be. Moving on.

  1. Seattle Seahawks

Pick: OLB – Channing Stapleton

Reason: While they are looking for an upgrade from Willis, they aren't jumping on Beckham.  But Stapleton gives them a good option here. 

  1. Washington Commanders

Pick: DE – Isiah Water

Reason: The idea of grabbing a QB here might work, but I think they're gonna grab some DL help, especially on the end.

  1. Baltimore Ravens (via Broncos)

Pick: DE – Ben Corbett

Reason: Ravens can't be excited about the options at LE. Corbett looks like he's big enough to be the guy for them.

  1. Seattle Seahawks

Pick: WR – Spencer Perine

Reason: I think this guy is going to be passed on by a LOT of teams because he's Kelvin Benjamin and NOT Calvin Johnson.  But, if you can see past his stoned feet, he is going to be a monster out there.  Just don't use him as your primary screen guy.

Pick: Safety – D’Angelo McDaniels

Reason: Packers are looking solid, but the secondary is kind of lacking. Grabbing a safety in the 1st round seems to be a no brainer

  1. Arizona Cardinals

Pick: OL – Connor Jarrett

Reason: WR or OL but getting the best OL in draft instead of the 3rd best WR looks like a steal in the mid-1st. 

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via Miami Dolphins)

Pick: RE – Landry Bowe

Reason: A team in a division that has 2 brand new QBs.  Maybe send some guys to punish them.

Pick: DT – John Clayton

Reason: I have 0 reason to think this will be the pick.  I have no clue what the Bears are going to do.

Pick: TE – Garrison Rushing

Reason: I originally pegged the Bills for a corner, but when you see no TE on the roster, I'd say it’s safe to assume they are going to TE early

Pick: OL – Nick Duvall

Reason: I think the bigger need to OLB, but no LT on the roster at this point.

Pick: CB – Rashod Bridges

Reason: Colts could go a few way at this point. But, with the #1 prospects gone at positions of need, the BPA of them is going to be Bridges

Pick: RE – Donnell Gillmore

Reason: As I scrolled through the roster… this team is in shambles.  Maybe getting some cap relief from the trade helps them figure out a lot of the holes they have.  But, I just went BPA.

Pick: Safety – Tony Flowers

Reason: While the last team had a lot of holes, the Broncos have no depth but a few holes.  I think the easiest fix is grabbing Flowers here.

Pick: TE - Lloyd Townsend

Reason: Njoku has hit the wall. Likely is like to hit that wall pretty soon.  So, Townsend is top tier for this year.  This is a loaded TE group though

Pick: Safety – Davonte Gerard

Reason: Some big places everywhere on this roster, but not at the SS position.  Grabbing best one in the draft.

Reason: I almost went QB here, because why not?  But, the front 7 is the main area of need right now.  Fix it, fast

Pick: LE - Tyreke Dorsett

Reason: TYREKE (I know the spellling is wrong) IS BACK IN KC!!!!!  As I was doing this mock draft, I thought to myself, "hey, Jake is finally going to be drafting again."  And then I seen he's trading out of the 1st.  Way to let me down.  Back to the Chiefs.  They are still an elite team but need some help in the DE position.

Pick: Safety – Jason Pressley

Reason: The Boys need another safety.  Looking at Pressley in the 1st and moving him to SS seems like an easy decision.

Pick: OL – Emett Weather

Reason: A lot of "meh" on the OL for the Chiefs.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars

Pick: HB – Brian Dobson

Reason: Etienne hit the wall.  Maybe they look for elsewhere.  But, the right pick for me in this case is HB.  A year too early rather than a year too late.

  1. L.A. Rams

Pick: CB – Jamaal Langley

Reason: Trading for and way Cam Smith, looks like CB might be a priority.  With EVERYONE taking a CB last draft, CB will drop more often this class and Rams could see the benefit.

  1. Buffalo Bills

Pick: C – Alex Todd

Reason: Maybe they draft a 2nd WR to give some focus away from Harvin.  But safer pick is Todd.  Maybe he won't be here anymore at this point.

Pick: DT – Charles Rivers

Reason: After a Super Bowl appearance, the cap is starting to hit the Chargers.  This could be a number of spots, but Rivers could be first off the board for them.

Reason: BPA. I’m not putting any stock into this pick.
