Rankings?! What Does This Guy Know? 25-32

by hcut2k4 | 1 year ago | 0 Comments

Well, well, well, folks, it's that time again - time to dissect another one of these power rankings by our friendly neighborhood Madden league analyst Adel. I'm here to provide a little dose of reality to these rankings. Let's dive in, shall we?

#32 - Los Angeles Rams (0-9)

Oh, the Rams! Our dear friend, Adel, starts off with a jab at consistency. Well, they say consistency is the key to success, right? But who needs success when you can have a perfect 0-9 record? I mean, it takes a special kind of talent to lose every game. And speaking of talent, let's talk about the suggestion of giving Stetson Bennett a shot. I can already hear the Rams fans shouting, "Stetson who?" But hey, at this point, why not? It's not like things can get any worse for the Rams.

#31 - Las Vegas Raiders (2-8)

The Raiders, the team that started 2-1 and then decided to take a nosedive straight to the bottom of the AFC standings. Adel suggests they weren't believers in their roster, and I'm starting to think they weren't believers in common sense either. Trading away Davante Adams and starting a rookie quarterback - a recipe for success, right? But hey, at least they have a promising pass rusher in Tyree Wilson, even if the rest of the team seems to be in shambles.

#30 - Pittsburgh Steelers (2-6)

The Steelers are next on our list, and Adel points out the disappointment of T.J. Watt. Two and a half sacks in eight games? Ouch. It's almost like they forgot how to play defense in Pittsburgh. And don't even get me started on the offense being described as "pedestrian." When you're relying on your defense to carry you, and that defense is MIA, you've got problems. It's a tough time to be a Steelers fan.

#29 - Dallas Cowboys (2-6)

Ah, the Cowboys. America's Team, or at least they used to be. Now they're just America's Disappointment. Adel gives them credit for being competitive in their last few games, but let's be real, they've been competitive in being disappointing. Dak Prescott's touchdown-to-interception ratio is a perfect representation of their season - a big fat 14-14. But hey, at least they have a rookie running back taking over, right? Maybe he can carry the team.

#28 - Carolina Panthers (2-6)

The Panthers are suddenly "surging," according to Adel. I guess a couple of wins make you a contender in their book. Bryce Young is improving, they say. Sure, if you consider throwing for 580 yards in two games a massive improvement. But hey, I won't rain on their parade. Let's see if this surge continues against the Bears.

#27 - Houston Texans (3-6)

The Texans, a team that can beat lower-tier teams but can't compete against the upper tier. Isn't that the goal of every NFL team? And poor C.J. Stroud, throwing interceptions left and right. Adel suggests they need more pieces around him, but let's be honest, even the best receivers can't catch interceptions. Maybe they should look for a quarterback who can protect the football.

#26 - Denver Broncos (2-6)

Ah, the Broncos, Adel's favorite of the "2 win" teams. Well, that's an accomplishment, I guess. They've found an identity, apparently. Maybe they should find an identity that includes not giving up 30+ points three times and not throwing eight interceptions in eight games. But hey, who am I to judge?

#25 - New England Patriots (5-5)

Oh, the Patriots, what a rollercoaster season it's been for them. Suspensions, head coach changes, and a lawyer on staff. It's like they're running a law firm rather than a football team. And the best part of the coaching change is having a lawyer in the building? Well, I guess they'll be well-prepared for any future legal disputes in the league.

Alright, folks, that's the bottom seven teams in these power rankings. Stay tuned for the next installment where we'll dissect the middle of the pack. Until then, keep your draft dreams alive, Rams fans!
