(Side note: I have no idea why Daddyleagues changed the formatting layout between AFC and NFC)

AFC

  1. Los Angeles Chargers (15-1)
    1. 1 seed [Locked]
  2. Indianapolis Colts (13-3)
    1. 2 seed with a win vs. SEA OR TEN loss to CLE;
    2. 5 seed if loss to SEA AND TEN win vs. CLE
  3. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-6)
    1. 3 seed with win vs. LAR OR CLE loss to either MIA or TEN
    2. 7 seed with loss to LAR AND CLE win vs. MIA AND CLE win vs. TEN
  4. AFC East Winner
    1. A. Miami Dolphins (8-7)
      1. 4 seed with finishing with better record than BUF (8-8); BUF plays PHI, MIA plays CLE/NYG
    2. Buffalo Bills (8-8)
      1. 4 Seed with finishing equal or better record than MIA (see above)
  5. Tennessee Titans (12-4)
    1. 2 seed with win vs. CLE AND IND loss to SEA
    2. 5 with loss to CLE OR IND win vs. SEA
  6. Kansas City Chiefs (11-5)
    1. 6 seed locked
  7. AFC North Runner up
    1. If the Steelers win the division, the Bengals (9-7) would get the 7 seed with a tied/better record than the Browns (9-6). Bengals play Lions, Browns play MIA/TEN

NFC

1)      Philadelphia Eagles (15-1)

a.       1 seed [Locked]

2)      Carolina Panthers (12-4)

a.       2 seed with CAR win vs. NO OR CHI loss to MIN

b.       3 seed with CAR loss to NO AND CHI win vs. MIN

3)      Chicago Bears (11-5)

a.       2 seed (see above)

b.       3 seed (see above)

c.       5 seed if they go 11-6 and Packers (10-6; vs. ARI) also go 11-6, then one of them will be 3 seed and the other gets 5 [complicated tie breakers]

4)      Arizona Cardinals / Los Angeles Rams (6-10)

a.       Rams play PIT, Cards play GB, we will likely see a 6-11 playoff team. Cardinals should have the tiebreaker. The 5 seed is about to get a 1st round bye.

5)      Bears/Packers

6)      Falcons (10-6)

                            a.     Assuming they dont get stuck in a dreaded 4 way tie with said teams below, they should get the 6

7)           Commanders (9-7) / Cowboys (9-7) / Vikings (8-7)

a.       Commanders play NE

b.       Cowboys play LAC

c.       Vikings play DEN / CHI

Tiebreakers should go WAS > MIN > DAL in a 3 way tie, but MIN would have a head-to-head advantage over WAS in a 2 way. Dallas needs to have a better record than one of the two teams to make it, but they play the Chargers, so good luck.
